A master assassin, thief and combatant; Miseria is a role model for all young female assassins within the Guild. Humbled by life, Miseria has a warm demeanour, and still feels remorse for every casualty she creates, but it able to deal with it. She’s knowledgeable and friendly, an asset to anyone who’s willing to listen. Miseria’s loyalty lies with the Guild, and Quinn, but no-one else, and always displays a professional and respectful manner. She’s always done everything the Guild has asked her for, and has become a well-respected member within the organization. As such, Miseria is one of the few Guild Members who has ever entered the worldwide headquarters of the Guild – which shows her standing in among the ranks of the Guild.history.> Family > Ajay Naraéyá (Husband/Deceased), Quinn Rivière (Daughter), The Guild
> Birthplace > Paris, France
> Current Location > Jump City
> Backstory > Miseria had always been destined for the Guild. Her father (of French origin) had been a member of the Guild before. He was forced to retire in his early thirties due to a heart condition that had rendered him ineffective in the field. He settled down with a Woman whom he met in the Guild, and the two had a daughter; Miseria. Miseria was placed into the Guild’s care at the age of five, and he and his wife took up tutelage posts within the Guild to teach the next generation.
Miseria followed the normal training provided by the Guild, and succeeded in it exponentially. A lot of potential had been reached, and Miseria had proved to be a very capable assassin. During her time training, and then running operations out in the field, Miseria had fell in love with another assassin of Nepalese/American origin; Ajay. They were extremely close, and at the age of twenty four; Miseria fell pregnant (with Quinn). Much debate surrounded this, the Guild and Miseria’s parents adamant the child (if born) should be raised by the Guild, whilst Ajay wanted the child raised away from the influence of the Guild. Eventually, Miseria sided with her parents and the Guild, though it didn’t matter. Ajay took off with their daughter mere days after the birth, hoping to flee the Guild. An error on his behalf – you never outrun the Guild. They caught up with Ajay, and captured him, returning Quinn to her mother. Ajay was thrown into the ‘Pits’ – the Guild’s own prison-torture chamber hybrid. What came of him, Miseria doesn’t know. It was then decided that Miseria’s daughter would be raised without knowing her parents. That she was to believe they had died after her birth, as to avoid further discussion surrounding Ajay. Miseria was still to raise her, under the moniker of mentor rather than mother.
Most new recruits within the Guild came at the age of four, and were then trained up to become an assassin. Quinn was different. Her tutelage began almost right away, learning the fundamentals; read, write, speak within the Guild. As for the Assassin curriculum, Quinn had a year head start on the rest as it was believed that Quinn could outgrow the potential her mother had shown. When Quinn had only just become a teenager, a few things had been raised between Miseria and the higher ups of the Guild. They wanted to move Miseria back into the field, believing that Quinn no longer required Miseria as a mentor. But at the same time, they wanted to make Quinn strong, tough minded, thick skinned. To do this, they set Quinn a task; to kill Miseria. It sounds bad, but Miseria had an ability that saw her return to life after death. No harm was done, and the task itself would mould Quinn into the assassin they desired. There was a fight between Quinn and Miseria, the details unknown, but Quinn was allowed to win – Miseria giving Quinn her ring-blade before death as a trophy for winning.
From then on, Miseria was a ghost agent within the Guild. Only those who needed to know, knew of her existence, whilst everyone else assumed she had died. This allowed Miseria to run specialist operations, operations that had been ordered directly by Tiberius himself. Miseria’s life remained like that for several years – a very lonesome experience. But there was a time when she returned to the Guild’s base of operations, having heard whispers that Quinn had been thrown into the pits – much like her father. She had been, though for different reasons, and Tiberius didn’t have a clear idea what to do with her. Miseria pleaded with Tiberius to let her daughter out, and claimed that she would transform Quinn into the assassin the Guild desired – on the condition that Miseria herself would be finished with the ghost agent work. Tiberius agreed, and Miseria was given six months to transform Quinn. Where they went, and what they did is still unclear, but what is known is that Miseria answered all questions Quinn had about her father, her mother, the Guild, everything. Quinn had become a rage fuelled fighter, and if the Guild wanted Quinn to be like Miseria, then the only option was to quell the rage – hence the revelations. They returned, and Quinn was put back with the HIVE group. Whilst Miseria now worked as an ordinary member of the Guild, though her standing within the Guild meant that she lead operations rather than be a follower; still answering to Tiberius, and no-one else.[/font]
