===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Height:6'0

Other Traits:When his powers are activated his smoke sometimes gives off the faint odor of burning cloves and sage.
===POWERS===Powers:
Sublimation:The ability to turn anything in his line of sight into a faint smoke-like substance, with the same basic qualities as mist, or smoke -- intangible, able to move through small cracks, holes, etc. at his direction. This is most useful for subterfuge tactics, or to ensure that she remains unseen and unheard, and also makes a fairly close to ideal hiding tool. This ability is near instantaneous (The affected objects takes 3-5 seconds to fully turn to smoke) , allowing her to use it as offensive or defensive, and can be used for something as small as pulling a pin from a grenade, a weapon from someone's hands, or clothes off someone's back. It is something that she can trigger, or stop, near instantaneous. (3-5 seconds) Any object he sublimates can be put back exactly in its proper place if he allows it to be (for example, if he sublimated a TV box, and then un-did it, the box would be put back in the same spot with the cables in). The effects last up to a maximum of 5 hours unless rendered unconscious.
Dennis has the potential to sublimate himself, but is currently only to partially sublimate his face to obscure his face.
Typhokinesis The ability to control smoke. Dennis can mentally control and manipulate the smoke he creates after sublimating it. His main use is transferring the 'smokified' object into a bottle, jar, or container for easy transfer. He can expand it create a smokescreen that can extend up to ten feet high and or twenty feet across. He can also compress the smoke and use it to constrict the movements of an average human with the strength of steel, create a wall with the durability of steel, or fire the compressed smoke off at high speeds (Not bullet-like) and force like a trained knife thrower. At his most extreme he can force the smoke into someone's lungs to asphyxiate the victim.
-Fire Suppression Although he himself is immune to fire, his smoke is able to snuff out all but the most extreme of fires.
Weaknesses: Weight Constraints Dennis is only able to sublimate objects up to a total of 200 lbs. (i.e, either one object's total weight is 200 lbs, or multiple objects equaling 200 lbs.) He is unable to sublimate anything after hitting this peak.
Inanimate Objects Only He is only able to use his powers directly on inanimate objects (Plants and himself excluded)
High Powered Winds While an AC unit, common vacuum or fan is not much a threat, very strong storm winds or an aerokinetic can put a hamper on his powers. Even though he would still be able to sublimate, the smoke would be pushed away.
Weak Hand-to-Hand Combat While Dennis himself is not weak, he has no formal martial arts training. During combat encounters, he relies mostly on his powers, not his fists.
Humanity He is human and is prone to any weakness the average human is.
Equipment:'Utility Belt' with various vials and small bottles.
===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===Personality: Dennis describes himself as a "pessimistic optimist." He sees the worst in most things in people so when something good happens its that much more special. And when things go bad, it's already expected so its no big deal. When interacting with others he usually has a pragmatic air about him. He likes to get to the point and move on with his day. This usually makes him seem aloof and detached from others.He's a practical character, never really seeking other meanings or intentions behind what he sees, although he is very perceptive. It's also hard for him to sympathize with people, especially when he feels they brought whatever ill happenings upon themselves. When he does show compassion towards another, he's probably faking it.
Despite his pessimistic outlook, he can prove himself to be actually quite determined . He is also quick-thinking and cunning, being able to figure out a basic plan or a strategy rather quickly, although he prefers not to over-plan his actions, trusting greatly in his gut instincts and skill at improvising according to the situation. His displeasure with plans stems from his lack of patience,especially when he is under stress .
He has a schadenfreude sense of humor. He laughs at people tripping over their shoelaces, running into things, public breakups, etc. On a rare day when the whim hits him, he'll even engage in a prank or two. But other than that he isn't much of a funnyman. The most you'll get out of him is a small chuckle. He does not waste his words and is often blunt and sometimes short with people, but what he says is mostly to the point. He is also not as trusting as others, showing immediate hostility to anyone who he considers as suspicious. Once he considers someone as an enemy, he sticks to this opinion until it is proven wrong. He sticks to most of his opinions until proven wrong actually, but he can also be stubborn in his ways, and will argue just for the sake of arguing. If he's not getting paid, Dennis can be a Class-A slacker, and will try to find an easier way out of situations whenever possible.
However, he seems to suffer from low self esteem and is not that confident in himself, coupled with a slight inferiority complex. No matter how good a job he does, he'll always feel like he could have done better and will beat himself up for days about it. He keeps most of these problems to himself, and seems reluctant to share his problems with others, which sometimes makes him appear harsh and almost cold.
While Dennis isn't much of a teamwork guy, in a group he'll do what he's told as best he can, although he'll shy away from a leadership role unless the alternative is that terrible. He'll let others plan while he acts out said plan, and try not to deviate. However if it hits the fan, he can wing it with the best of them.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===Family Members: Val Hughes (Mother) Timothy Miller (Father)
Place of Origin: Coast City
Current City: Jump City
History: Born the love child to a pro baseball player of the Coast City Angels and a groupie, nothing was ever really expected of young baby named Dennis K. Miller. Soon after he was born, he was put up for adoption, mostly because his father Didn't want his reputation tarnished by the newborn. It was also in an attempt to ditch his baby mama. (It didn't work. He never could shake her and they eventually married and had another child that they cared about. Named Dennis II)
Dennis went in and out of the system, and tended to stay to himself. Not speaking much to anyone. He was eventually adopted by a nice family at age 10 and moved in with them. But his chance at normalcy would be cut short after his new home was greatly damaged during a fight between Green Lantern and some low tier villain. With his adoptive parents too injured to care for him and no place to house him, he was thrust back into the system. By age 13, he already had a rap sheet of petty crimes, such as stealing candy and brawling with other kids. He did it as a way to lash out, and his new found teen aged angst also saw the manifestation of his meta-gene.
He began using his powers to help in his petty larceny and pranks. A few swiped candy bars and CD's here, a few belts and suspenders off of suits passing by there... After a while he caught the attention of a small time gang who used his talents for them. Helping each other, Dennis became an accomplished larcenist, drug and weapons smuggler, and all around crook. And in three years time, Dennis helped the small Coast City gang transform into one one the biggest in the city, having absorbed or eliminated any competition.
The gang was in turn absorbed The Ghost Dragon Street Gang, and Dennis was sent into Jump City to start up operations. Unfortunately, the gang was too big for its britches and had caught the attention of the Feds, who had undercover agents in the gang. He narrowly escaped, mainly because nobody remembered what he looked like anymore. He had taken to making sure his face was veiled in smoke most of the time. The high ups in the gang were arrested and what was left of the gang became small er gangs that just wanted drugs and violence.
Dennis found himself stuck in Jump City with little to no connections, a nice long list of felonies, and whatever money he had stashed on him. It didn't help that his arrival coincided with the re-emergence of the super-hero element into the city. Now his choices were to either create a new gang or go legit...
