| "Well," Stanley began retracting his lonesome hand away, not receiving the shake that he was expecting "I spend many nights wide awake, thanks to a vivid imagination bleeding into my dreams and becoming vivid dreams, so it wouldn't be any trouble for me. Of course, I would feel safer knowing that a being of supreme power was returned home safe and sound." He was being honest, he would feel much better for her to return home rather than stay here and beat up more cops. Or, if possible, himself. Grant it, he was regretting staying so long in the rain with his only suit and the encyclopedia being soaked in his chest, but its just water, he'd have more concern if it was blood or food on his suit. He also had a duty to protect those who have power from those who don't and vice versa.
"After you." He said, holding his hand toward the ocean. Then, the sound of thunder pierced the through the rain's sound and Stan jolted some as blood splattered from what his chest. He fell down, but as he did so he turned and took out his pistol instinctively, firing a round. His gun was much louder, the sound making his target flinch but this didn't help dodge the bullet when the round hit the target's chest, sending him back inside the stair well he came out of. He dropped two things, a pistol and a badge. It was an officer. Stan gasped in pain as he hit the ground, dropping the pistol to grip his wound. Luckily it was just a shoulder shot. "Damn." He cursed through a release of air as he sat there, the wound slowly healing but the pain still there.
"You alright?" Stan asked the Atlantean, but unfortunately the officer that had climbed the stairwell to the roof wasn't alone, there were more. He had a feeling AMO will be pissed when they hear when of their agents was brought into custody on his first day. He stood up slowly, holding the pistol in his right hand and gripping the wound with his left. They were now in what other called a " Mexican Stand Off". Fifteen officers vs. one Atlantean and one AMO agent.

| Droplets of water from the puddle below would begin to rise, staring to form together to form a hydrokinetic spear in Mia's hand. This agent claims peace, yet then 15 goons decide to test their luck. Peace is useless. As the Officers ascended the stairs, Mia would throw the hydrokinetic spear, launching it towards the stairwell. many rushed to get to the top, leaping to go prone on the floor of the roof to avoid the spear. It didn't hit anyone, instead eventually coming into contact with a building and just dispersing into water.
"Is this your idea of peace?"

| "It's not like they're on my side!" Stan yelled as he held his left hand toward her, showing his crimson blood as it washes off from the rain. He checked the wound and it was now cloted with dry blood. Always useful to have a mutation in your system, atleast that's what he thinks. He held his pistol up and aimed, fired, and sent three officers back down the stairwell. There was no way they could fight against this many people. They'd tire out soon, even if the two weren't exactly human. Though, Stan doesn't really know the length of his humanity. He looked around for a way to escape. There was a fire escape but that was on the other side, right by the stair well which was now flooded with officers. There was the other buildings but they could still be chased by the officers and tire themselves out even more. He needed a way out without the officers chasing after the two of them.
He looked back and saw a manhole which gave him an idea. He unloaded his clip, letting the mag drop to the floor, and reloaded it with frag rounds. He stepped behind the Atlantean and grabbed her stomach. "Hold on!" He said as he backed up, falling off the roof top while gripping her close to him. As they fell he pointed his pistol toward the manhole and fired, the frag round ripping through the manhole and the concrete. They fell through and were swept away with the sewage water as the sound of gun fire ricocheted through the night.
Stan emerged from the water after a couple minutes, having swam further in order to make certain that their escape was guaranteed to end any effort for a search party. He had kept hold of the Atlantean, making sure that he would escort her to the ocean. He didn't want to leave her alone considering what she could do, and had done, to the officers and to the city. He lifted her up and placed her on solid ground like a dummy. "Well," He said as he sat down, taking a shoe off and letting the sewer water escape "That was fun."

| Ugh! Sewage water! Even for those among the living whom spend their days surrounded by water, sewage offered no comfort at all. Mia wasn't happy at all, her clothes stained, hood down revealing her brunette hair, which was now of course; dirty. She wasn't happy, at all. She could of done away with those officers rather easily, and most importantly have avoided the whole sewage situation. But this was it, the last straw! Clambering up to her feet, Mia had an icy glare about her as she stared right through the agent. "This is the end of this little team up... follow and I will end you" A straight forward, direct threat. Mia would turn around and start to walk away, trekking through the dirty water of the sewer; splendid... | |

| "I'm afraid not." Stan said standing up as he finished getting rid of the sewer water in his shoes. "It might have seem a bad decision, but its the one that allowed us to escape without doing any harm. As an Agent, I am bound by my obligation to help those who are supernatural." He did admit that it was a rather bold and stupid idea to go through the sewers and land right in the sewage, but he needed a way to escape and he got it. Just wasn't a good way. He took his pistol out, took the clip out and replaced it with Ieorilian rounds. These bullets were assault rifle based, meaning it had a longer and sharper point, but the point was made of glass and had a tiny tentacle like creature inside. That was the Ieorilian, a creature that when exposed to oxygen would grow to the height of a human being and wrap around whatever creature it could touch, wrapping around its target and holding on tight. They do have teeth, but their so small that it would merely tickle any being.
He took a step forward, then another step, and began following her while holding his pistol to his side. He checked the wound, it was fully healed now.

| "A gun is a funny way to show that you went to 'help'" Mia would say as she trekked through the dirty sewer water. She didn't mind it really, soon enough she would be back in the tranquil sea that shall be oh so wonderful - especially after the events of tonight. Soon enough in the distance, the sound of waves crashing against the shore could be heard. This brought a smile to Mia's face, not too long now; an entrance to the sea must be close by. "You hear that? I think I'll be just fine on my own now, Mr. Agent" Mia never once turned to look at the agent, she didn't care honestly. He had caused more problems tonight than solved - shame those officers couldn't get a good shot on him. OOC: Sorry for late reply, been busy (: | |

| "Well, considering how you toss that spear of yours, or should I say spears, I feel an even playing field would be better." He said, being honest. He walked closely behind her, feeling like the earlier events had loosened his professional attitude. He was now smiling as the stench, the officers being flunged down the stairs from rubber slugs (bullets) and from water spears, the suit being ruined, everything was now funny. Why, cause nothing at this point was going to get worse. He caught up to her and walked side by side, looking down at her and catching the slight smile. "Poseidon's child smiles." He said cheerfully, a smile on his face to.
"I know you'll be fine and my job is done. But I ain't going back through the sewers to civilization. I'm taking the less stenchy route." He said, partly lieing. He really didn't want to go through the sewers again but also he wanted to see the job fully through. To see her enter the ocean so he could go back to his miserable little apartment and take a shower. A very long shower.

| Finally the Ocean could be seen, an entrance of the sewer ran right out onto the beach of the sea - not the tourist part mind you. The sea was a mere few seconds walk away now. The rain still poured down heavily, and the sea appeared to be quite angry; large waves crashing against the shore, immense splash back for all around. But whilst the sea was angry, this made Mia happy. Reaching the end of the sewer pipe, Mia would say one last thing; "Enjoy the trek back" Mia would run forward a few yards before being propelled by a jet stream that formed beneath her feet; launching her into the sea; disappearing from site. Maybe next time, those fortunate policemen won't be so lucky. | |
