"The issue here isn't whether or not I can help, but more of whether or not a penguin can survive in a microwave which is encased in ice in the middle of July while eating a cookie. The answer is yes just so you know!"

Emily Rhayne

Starstrike Pilot

===IDENTITY===

Full Name: Emily Rhayne
Nickname(s): Loony; Emmi; Ray
Codename: Starstrike
Alias(es):
Age: 17
Classification: Genetically Enhanced Human
Affiliation: Hero

===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===

Hair Color: Redish White (IT'S NOT PINK!)
Eye Color: Amber
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 112 lbs
Other Traits:

===POWERS===

Powers:

Energy
Emily’s first enhancement was an energy model. Converting her normal body energy into a powerful weapon was just the first step of many. With this power, she can use her body’s energy to simulate a couple of super powers. With a limited amount of energy, she is only able to use a power to its fullest one at a time. She cannot mix them. (For example, maximum flight and strength. She can however mix moderate flight and strength.) Additionally, she will need a few moments to swap from power to power and cannot swap instantly.
  • Flight - By focusing her energy into one of her sources, she can achieve flight. On average she clocks in at about 65 mph. Barely impressive among most super humans. However, if she really wants to hit the gas she can focus all of her energy into that source to achieve a maximum flight speed of 150 mph.
  • Strength - By focusing her energy into her muscles, Emily can increase her strength. On an average level she can lift 2 tons. However by focusing ALL of her power into her muscles, she can lift a maximum of 10 tons.
  • Energy Projection - By releasing her energy outward, Emily can use her energy to create beams, ranging from a simple burst of light to brighten a room all the way to an energy blast strong enough to kill a grizzly. The intensity of each blast depends on how much power and energy she puts out, the most powerful of which tending to tire her out much more quickly.
  • Reflexes - By focusing on movement speed, Emily can enhance her reflexes to dodge just about anything of average human speed coming her way in a moderate setting. At full power, this ability allows her to dodge fully automatic fire. While she maintains the power to fly and dodge, she will likely need to stay on the defensive until they need to reload.

Enhanced Endurance
This is a rather weak term, as Emily's actual endurance boost is not a super power. She was not designed to experience pain. This means that punches, kicks, and even broken arms will have little effect on her.

Transformation
Discovered completely on accident, Emily questioned what would happen if she focused her energy on itself. In short, she focused on wishing for her energy to grow. With this, she can transform her own energy-transmitter and thus transform herself. This causes her hair to change color and her energy-output to grow. With each level gained, her energy-output will gain an increase of 100% its base power, allowing her to stay in the fight much longer. There are 4 possible levels for her to attain. While her energy will increase, this will not restore her physical health.

  • Stage One (Blonde) -Instantaneous Transformation- Upon reaching this stage, Emily's total energy level is 200% her original energy level, and all outputs are increased by 100%. This form is capable of little more than faster travel or stronger strikes.
  • Stage Two (Gold) -One Half of a Post- At this form, Emily's total energy level is 300% her base energy level and all outputs are increased to 200% the original output. Upon reaching this form, Emily is capable of traveling just fast enough to leave behind an after image. These after images are basically a vision of what she was doing before her disappearance. However these only last a moment or two and will not move or show any activity whatsoever, making them very easy to distinguish.
  • Stage Three (Red) -One Full Post- This form is the most difficult for Emily to control. The total energy level will increase to 400% the original power, and all of her energy outputs become 400% their original. Once she reaches this form, Emily has a decent chance to lose much of her self control and acts more like a computer. Additionally, she may lose control of her powers, causing internal damage to her.
  • Stage Four (Black) -One Post and a Half- This is Emily's ultimate form, increasing her energy level to a full 500% of her original form, as well as all power outputs to 500%. In this form her aura becomes a deflective mass capable of deflecting most projectiles, except for extreme cases like missiles and bombs. She is able to control this form much better than her third stage, as her energy transmitter is large enough to contain it. However, due to the location of the transmitter (right next to her heart) if she sustains the form for more than 3 minutes, her heart will implode. Causing her immediate death.

    Skills:

    Skilled Pilot

    Way of the Shooting Star - Martial Art
    A self-taught and completely original martial art, Emily created it to revolve around her speed and reflexes rather than on physical strength. This martial art is rather half-baked and is easily countered by just about any other martial art in existance. Additionally, this martial art is meant to turn the enemy's strength against them.

    Weaknesses:

    Pride
    A self-imposed pride, Emily is unable to refuse a challenge. Willing to do anything to be the best, she will even allow enemies to grow in power until they are much stronger than her strictly for the thrill of fighting them.

    Drugs
    Yes, a super-hero that is harmed by drugs. This is a very loose term. Anything that would lower the usual energy of a human will lower her energy levels, thus making her powers much weaker or completely useless. This mostly revolves around narcotics.

    Stimulants
    Making an appearance as both a strength and weakness, Stimulants are extremely dangerous to Emily. Her special energy levels will increase phenomenally upon taking a stimulant, making her powers even stronger. However, this is a serious risk. If she's above 50% power upon taking the stimulant, her energy will rise until her heart bursts.

    Fatigue
    Basic human fatigue is an issue to Emily. Even with her transformations available, her fatigue is a serious fear of hers. As she grows tired, her powers will seriously start to fade to a point of near disappearance. If she is very tired, her powers are completely neutralized.

    Magic
    Emily's main weakness and the bane of all things science, magic. Strangely enough, magic seems to almost entirely negate her powers. Ah, magic, defying all things logic ever since its arrival...

    Power Levels
    Having been built by the government, Emily's brain is wired with the data of all super beings the government had knowledge of at the time, categorizing each super being with a number and a self-imposed power level. These levels are then matched with her own and she deems that to be the outcome of the battle. These power levels are largely unreliable however and cause her to underestimate her enemy, thus causing her to take significant damage early on in the battle.

    Equipment:

    Goggles
    Emily wears a pair of goggles over her head which she puts over her eyes when she flies. Thats pretty much it.

    ===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

    Personality:
    Emily is very spontaneous and is often considered to be absolutely insane. Preferring to spout random nonsense rather than have an intelligent conversation, she usually creeps people out, making her rather lonely. Headstrong and tom-boyish by nature, Emily has difficulty admitting when she's met her match, thus causing her to take bigger risks than neccessary.

    Strengths:
    Extremely Skilled Pilot
    Designed to Fly any Air-Based Vehicle

    Interests/Habits:
    Obsessed With Learning More About Being Human

    ===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

    Family Members: DNA Bases (Exact Characters Unknown)
    Place of Origin: Military Base (Exact Location Unknown)
    Current City: Jump City
    History:
    Designed to be the ultimate soldier, pilot, and spy, Emily was designed using the DNA of several different super-humans. However, the DNAs mixed and created a completely new entity. This creature was told her name was Emily when she woke up in a medical bay. During her creation, they coded her brain with everything she would need: math, science, reading and writing, etc. However, they also coded her with the knowledge of how to use her powers as well as how to fly every known military vehicle, making her the ultimate pilot.

    Going through grueling training, she was evolved into the 'ultimate soldier'. However, over the 3 years they had kept her, they kept her locked away from the world as a secret military experiment. Most people would harden from this experience, become more cold to the eye. However, Emily longed for human interaction, a wish she was denied for many years.

    Recently, she quietly escaped the military outlet and the scientists assumed that she experienced a meltdown from her own powers and quickly went to work designing the MK2.

All done. I'm a bit worried with her transformations, but I think they'll be alright due to the charge times. A minute could mean everything in a super-human fight if you ask me.

okay, is she always charging? or just sometimes?

Also, she has 5 powers, but since the last one isn't extreme and technically doesn't seem to be endurance but a lack of feeling pain its okay. But please reword it to 'designed not to feel pain' it makes a bit more sense since a geneticist wouldn't be able to design nerves, just change them, especially with how she was made.

For her stage 3 beam, how much dynamite? Because how much is a huge difference. A quarter stick of Dynamite is used to blow stumps out of the ground.
Also, be careful with the word 'anything' because anything to you doesn't mean anything to most people. Especially considering since anything would usually include amazonian metal or a green lantern's shield.

Modified. I created a completely new sub-catagory in her powers selection to explain the concept of her charging, and dynamite has been rephrased to the average grenade.

Okay, so in the box you said she cant do all of these at the edits fully at the same time, she also shouldnt be able to switch them instantly and she'll need another weakness. Something more specific to her.
