Other Traits: Morpha is a shapeshifting creature by trade, allowing her to take whatever appearance she wishes as long as she has the 'mass' for it. She can only take the appearance of LIVING things, however. Morpha has been on earth long enough to develope a kind of 'preference' form based on what she's seen and what she appears to like personally. She will typically take the form of a buxom, and highly attractive young women of slightly varying age, height, or ethnicity. But often she will simply go green, and while she still follows her preference, she will be primarily green like Beastboy. Morpha's shapeshifting also means she 'can' be male if she so chose, but she MUCH prefers female anatomy.

Morpha will wear almost anything atleast once, and unless she has a specific look in mind, she'll wear mostly casual clothing (making sure that they accentuate her curves).

The few times Morpha decides to go out as a male, she varies her appearance more then as a female. As a female, Morpha usually sticks to her own personal preference, but as a male she tends to 'experiment' more then normal. She will alot of the time take the appearance of a tall, toned, handsome male who is physically attractive. This can be varied by a more muscular version. Other times Mo as a male will be average, meek, or cute in her appearance depending on her mood. But she doesn't change into a male very often and just does so on certain occasions.

Sub-listed fields are not 'powers' on their own and are just illustrations of what Morpha can do as a slime or vice versa.


• Slime Biology: Not a superpower in the actual sense, but Morpha's race have their own unique 'abilities' that make them different from normal humans. On a biological level, Morpha's true form is a green, liquid-like substance which can take on a jello-like or slimey/water-like composition. The latter is a more translucent green color. Slimes boast incredible resillience to conventional harm as their bodies are so malleable, able to twist, bend, or split to avoid taking hits. And even if they do take a hit, they'll bounce back like nothing had happened. The effect is identical to someone punching a body of water. If a slime somehow gets part of it's body separated, the smaller mass is 'programmed' to try and return to the larger mass in order to reform. A piece of a slime that fails to do so in time will become a brand new slime.
  
  A slime's body also has an inherit resistance to high temperatures; some more then others. However, most slimes are incredibly vulnerable to freezing cold temperatures. Even more so then humans, a slime's body will quickly turn to ice and die if it stays in a freezing cold environment for too long.
  
  Most slimes are also resistant to chemicals, poisons, and disease. Morpha's particular species of slimes are immune to these and are also immune to acid because as mentioned below, they can simply absorb the acid. This makes eating a slime a REALLY bad idea for this reason. Slimes are also resistant against electricity, though only due to their lack of organs for it to electrocute. Morpha may lose some mass from evaporation, but generally will survive if she's in slime form.
  
  
  
  
  • Absorption: Morpha's people traditionally digest all of their food by 'absorbing' it into their bodies to break it down into nutrients. Some species are better at absorbing certain materials then others, Morpha specifically has a much easier time absorbing organic, chemical, or liquid based substances then any other species of slime. A healthy slime is indicated by it's mass, as the more it absorbs over time the more it grows in the long run. However, sometimes this is not practical and so a slime has an option.
    
    
  • Drain: Often times a slime grows too massive then it is comfortable with, and while this is not common, a slime like Morpha can 'shed weight' by converting available mass into a liquid of it's choice. This can also actually be used for defensive purposes, allowing Morpha to 'spit' acidic or gooey substances from her body when she needs to.
    
    
  • Liquid Synthesis: Morpha's particular species of slime have the unique ability to convert one liquid-like substance, into a different liquid like substance. This only works if Morpha has 'absorbed' the liquid she wants to make in the past. For example: Morpha absorbs a glass of water, converts it into soda, and then fills a cup with the new soda. She can also convert her own body mass into a liquid of her choosing, making her shrink in size in the process. The other drawback is that it takes energy to change mass or one liquid into another liquid. Also, the more complicated the liquid is, the more energy it takes. Water is the simpliest kind of liquid Morpha can create from another, and it costs very little energy to do so. It also offers her little nutrients.
    
  
  
  
• Shapeshifting: All slimes are capable of some kind of 'shapeshifting' in one way or another. Morpha's species however, can actually change into other organic creatures. This is done in a similar way to her 'Liquid Synthesis' but instead of liquid, DNA is used and replicated. Depending on the complexity of the lifeform determines how easily and quickly Morpha can 'copy' it's biology. Since humans are mostly liquid, Morpha has easily gotten shapeshifting into a human down pat. It is currently the only other form she can change into, other then her true form. It does take energy for Morpha to change between forms due to the conversion of flesh and bone into liquid or vice versa. The more complicated the form, the more energy it would take to change.
  
  
  
  
  
  • Partial Shapeshift: Morpha still can alter the shape or size of parts of her body, allowing for maximum shapeshifting potential. This includes but is not limited to: growing extra arms, replacing severed limbs, growing an extra head, eyes, ears, etc etc. Morpha can essentially do whatever she wishes to her body on a biological scale AS LONG AS SHE HAS THE MASS FOR IT. She is only limited by that factor, preventing her from growing super large for no reason. If she wants a giant fist, she has to transfer mass from her body into the fist to increase it's size.

• Alien: Mo is still an outsider and still has ALOT to learn about Earth. Naturally she doesn't know much about human interactions or customs. She also hasn't grasped the concept of money yet eiter.
  
  
• Can't read yet: Morpha can recognize a word here or there, but generally she has a hard time reading at all.
  
  
• Human Flaws: While Morpha is in human form, she can be killed or die as any human would getting shot, stabbed, or vice versa. So in theory, if one got the jump on her while she was in human form and shot her in the head before she noticed, she would die as a human. Lightning ALSO becomes fatal.
  
  
• Freezing Cold: Anything or anyone who can freeze things will be her single greatest foe. Freezing effects Morpha a great deal more then normal humans while she is in her true form, as since slimes are composed of a liquid-like substance, she will freeze MUCH faster and can easily be chipped apart. Morpha will die from being frozen alot faster then a human. Morpha is also not a big fan of anything cold like ice cubes or ice cream.
  
  While in human form, Morpha is more resistant to the cold. However, at a certain point the cold will make her revert to her true form on reflex. This is true of all 'future' forms she may aquire, as no matter what she changes into, she will ALWAYS be vulnerable to cold temperatures.
  
  
• Shapeshifting: It doesn't take too long for her to revert from a human to her true form, but constant shapeshifting will drain her energy until she is unable to shapeshift at all.
  
  
• Electricity: While it may not effect her like a normal human being, the fact remains that she is made of liquid. This makes it very easy to hit as much of her as possible, plus she will lose some mass through evaporation.
  
  
• Growth: Morpha 'can' grow to terrifying sizes, however to do so quckly she needs a rapid supply of nutrients. So even if one were to fight her on a beach, she would not be able to quickly absorb water and turn into godzilla because water does not have many nutrients for her to absorb.
  
  
• Naive: Mo has yet to really experience deception, and still has a child-like view of Earth. That's not to say she won't ever notice when something is off, but generally she's more trusting of other people then she should be.
  
  
• Is scary: Apparently, people have a hard time adjusting to the fact she is actually an alien slime creature from space. Most people will just totally freak out and run at the sight of her true form. Naturally this makes her quite lonely.

  ===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===
  
  
  Personality: Morpha is a very strange and interesting... person. Despite the apparent hardship of her travels, she keeps a bubbly and cheerful disposition. She has a child-like innocence and curiosity which may be a clue as how old she actually is. Then again she could just be an overly inquisitive creature by nature. Morpha is an incredibly friendly and kind hearted person, quickly getting attached to people if they let her (both literally and figuratively).
  
  The chink in Mo's happy and optimistic attitude is that she doesn't take rejection from other people very well. She constantly forgets that most people react... badly toward her when they discover what she is and is constantly reminded how other races view her people as monsters when she gets rejected. That could also be why she tries so hard to be nice toward new people.
  
  Morpha regardless of her... quirks is still a fun loving, easy going, and sweet person who is definitely worth meeting atleast once. Morpha loves meeting new friends. The only other time Morpha's cheery and sweet disposition breaks away is when someone threatens one of her friends. Ever seen an angry shapeshifting mass of goo? You don't want to see one.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Place of Origin: A giant swamp planet
Current City: Jump City

History: Morpha comes from a large, swamp-like planet far far away. Which brings up the obvious question, 'how did she get to Earth?' Patience young padawan. First, Morpha was actually taken from her home planet by 'Slime Hunters' who were known to collect slimes for their unique properties. Morpha's kind in particular, were completely immune to poisons or disease. But they NORMALLY still carried these hazardous elements with them, making excellent poisons. However, the hunters failed in catching one slime completely, only able to obtain a small portion of the slime's body. Which was useless to them while it thrashed around and tried to return to the rest of the slime's body, but once it gained sentience their client could easily use it.

But then some local authorities intervened, boarding the ship where a firefight ensued. Morpha managed to break out in the confusion, sneaking on board the other ship. This then took her to another planet where Morpha lingered for a short time before sneaking aboard another ship. This continued until finally, Morpha somehow ended up on Earth where she currently resides.

She took a quick liking to Earth, discovering people who were mostly liquid and vaguely reminded her of back home. Morpha was actually found by a traveling circus (most of which were mutants or metas) and was accepted with open arms. She became part of the show, getting her name from the Ringleader. Morpha's act was simple, use her shapeshifting abilities to morph her body into all kinds of shapes- occasionally being part of the other acts by morphing into obstacles or other useful props for the others to use; she was a big hit with the clowns, as she could easily disguise herself as an object they would 'mistake' for an everyday object only to get squirted in the face or something.

She traveled the country along with the rest of the circus, learning alittle more about Earth as she went. During this, Morpha gained the ability to change into a human and speak english. This added a new element to Morpha's act and it was a giant hit! And while Mo greatly enjoyed being in the circuis with her friends, she yearned for more and eventually left the circus on good terms with her friends; she'd try to make their show if they happened to be in the same area.

Morpha's travels eventually took her to Jump City, where she now currently resides...
