Powers:Matter ingestion- Cook is able to eat any substance in any amount at super-speed (Calculated in tons per minute). He can consume an unlimited amount of matter in any form - solid, liquid or gas. His power to chew through solid matter lies in his ability to produce a variety of digestive enzyme that act on specific substances, making them easier to chew and digest.
Super-human Metabolism- Cook metabolizes food almost instantaneously, allowing him to consume tons of food in minutes. Cook does not possess super-speed but as soon as the digestion process begins, the matter consumed is immediately transformed into food energy by his stomach. That energy fuels the person to move at a faster and faster rate of speed, as long as the energy supply keeps coming. These enzymes also give him an immunity to all poisons ingested via his mouth and he can't get drunk.
When the person stops eating, the excess energy is collected and stored, in concentrated form, in cells very similar to human fat cells. These cells are then used to enhance his strength, agility, and durability. After eating, he is able to lift a maximum of 4 tons, and his skin becomes four times as durable as an average humans, able to withstand small caliber shelling with only light bruising. His agility also becomes olympic level, and his max speed tops around 30 m/ph. Tapping into these cells allow him to recover from injury twice as fast as a regular human.
Weaknesses: Closed mouth: Any outside force applied to Cook's mouth to keep it closed is essentially his Kryptonite. He become very weak and loses all energy, barely able to stand.
Gambling- Cook is a terrible gambler and has wracked up thousands of dollars in debt. He has a slight addiction, and if he isn't occupied with something else he'll easily turn back to his vice.
Women: Being around women most of his teenage years and being a semi-lecherous skirt chaser, there isn't much that he wouldn't do to impress a pretty face.
Skills:Culinary skills: Cook's cooking skills are beyond comprehension. He can create dishes that have brought grown men to tears. Be it savory or sweet, he can create the most delicious of foods with the minimal of ingredients.
Wresting: Cook had a small stint as a professional wrestler and uses this as a basis for his fighting style.

He has a backpack that he keeps a spare chef coat, a recipe notebook, a five piece knife set, mason jar filled with his own special blend of spices, and more mason jars filled with pickled foods.

Personality: Cook is generally a laid back individual and he is rarely seen without a smile. In his off time, likes to chase after women, eat, cook, and nap.
He is a peace-loving young man who will always try to talk his way out of a fight, though he doesn't wish to insult opponents by refusing to fight. Though he tries to talk his way out of a fight, he does insist on fighting when the situation is grave. He maintains a level of honor and integrity when engaging in battle. He always maintains a semblance of respect for his opponent and is polite in combat situations and prefers to fight one on one.[8] Even when fighting powerful opponents, he rarely loses his cool, going as far as to make small talk and joke around with his opponents.

Current City: Jump CityHistory:Cook was born Jacob Hughes to an average middle class family in Metropolis. His meta-gene developed early for him, around age ten. What his parents thought was a pica eating disorder soon got out of hand when he started eating the furniture in the house. Desperate to understand what was wrong with their son, the concerned parents contacted S.T.A.R labs for help. After a few tests, they confirmed his meta-human status and sent him to their Austin branch which specializes in metas.
However, during a carry-over in Las Vegas due to engine troubles, the Mob boss Don Murcuccio spotted a young boy at a terminal devouring plastic plants when nobody was watching. Intrigued, he used his connections at the airport to have the boy kidnapped, using candy as bait. He took Greg in and treated him like a son after using a variant of the Scarecrow's gas to give him temporary amnesia was made permanent from an over-dose. So, Greg now spent his days between being the son of the biggest mob boss on the West Coast and eating evidence of illicit activities.
Things took a turn for the worse however when on of the Don's Lieutenants accidentally killed one of his mistresses and wanted Greg to 'get rid of the evidence by eating her body. He of course refused, and an altercation broke out between the child and the older gentleman which resulted in his ring finger being bitten off. Scared and panicking, he began to eat a majority of the warehouse where the 'evidence removals' took place and ran off into the Mojave and went on a fast hoping to starve himself to death to atone for what he had done and be done with mob life.
After a day of wandering he passed out and hours later was found by the Nash's, owners of the one of the Burlesque troupes in the nation. They took him back to their home in Reno and fed him and nursed him back to good health. After telling him his story, ( As being the son of a mob boss due to the gas) they took him in as their own, after the Don had been arrested following the decimation of his warehouse and charges being placed on him because of it. To repay them for feeding him, he learned how to cook himself and took a vow to never let anyone go hungry.
The Nash's took Greg (Who went by his nickname Cook to distance himself from his past life) with them as they toured North America, Europe and parts of Asia, where he met some of the most beautiful women, exotic food, and beautiful women. At 16 they returned to America, where he decided he wanted to tour Central and South America to hone his culinary skills by himself. His foster parents reluctantly agreed, mostly scared by his threats to eat all of the costumes if they didn't let him go. He experienced much in his time on the road, even become a Lucadore for a time when his money ran dry and couldn't find a restaurant to work for. A year later he re-emerged in America, his newest destination being Jump City, drawn there for some strange reason. Probably due to its high population of meta-humans, and pretty women.
