CAESAR

===IDENTITY===

Full Name: Caesar
Codename: Monkey See
Nickname(s): 'See'
Alias(es): Dr Caesar
Age: 9
Birth date: 16/01/2003
Classification: Golden Lion Tamarin
Affiliation: Evil

===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===

Hair Color: Bright orange
Eye Color: Gold
Height: 17 inches body, 24 inches tail
Weight: 3 lbs
Other: Twice the size of an average tamarin, Caesar is more prone to take human upright stances rather than hunched over.

===POWERS===

Powers: Genetically Enhanced Intelligence – Though by no means super-intelligent, Caesar's IQ has risen to that of an average person. He is capable of cognitive thought beyond that of a normal wild-animal and can create, postulate, and theorise just as any human. Along with his adapted vocal cords, he is also able to comprehend and speak human languages, though he only knows Portuguese and English.

Genetically Enhanced Strength – Nothing to write home about, Caesar is capable of lifting an average human by himself but little more. His gripping strength, however, is a force to be reckoned with.

Adoptive Muscle Memory – His brain was first and foremost designed with this ability in mind. By viewing an activity once, Caesar is capable of replicating the muscle movements for it exactly. Any skill that requires specific movement to achieve is replicable. Through this he could learn fighting styles and dances moves, as well as finer techniques such as surgery. Never, once learned, will these be forgotten (riding-a-bicycle principle).

Weaknesses: Of Powers - Both his strength and intelligence have only been risen to average human standards. Yet he is still small in frame and attacks from him will have less effect than if they were delivered by a person of bigger build. There are some activities he can learn and still have difficultly performing (i.e. driving a car) unless given the right tools to compensate for his size. Anything super-power wise is unable to be copied, with some exception given to those relating to specific muscle movement. For example, while he cannot mimic the ability of superhuman accuracy, if he watches someone with the ability hit a bullseye on a dartboard, Caesar could achieve the same precision but only for that single situation.

Curiosity – Ignoring dangers for the chance to discover.

Temper – Though not often, when losing his cool, Caesar can get out of control.

Diminutive – In a human world, not even the biggest tamarin is unchallenged.

Insensitive – Caesar sometimes ignores social conventions.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Likes: Biology.
Surgery.
Fruits.
Collecting different skills.
Intellectual recognition.
Treetops.
Aliens.

Dislikes: Squeamishness.
Interference to his work.
Coyness.
Hesitancy.
Belittlement.
Snow.
Being wasteful.
Clothes.

Strengths: Immunity to gore – Being an animal, Caesar is not particularly fazed by someone's insides.
Learning speed – Thanks to his ability, he can pick up any physical discipline in seconds. He is also quite capable of academical achievements as well.
Skill set – Actively collecting skills for a wide variety of situations. Best versed in medical procedures where Caesar is able to perform open brain surgery.
Detachment – It is valuable to distance yourself from your test subject's petty concerns.
Opportunist – Caesar is always seeking and taking any and all opportunities possible of him. Even if they may be highly illegal.

Skills: As of now Caesar is knowledgeable of the following skills: capoeira, street fighting, driving, lock-picking, dancing the samba, tango, bossa nova, foxtrot, robot, and 'the monkey'; cooking, making houses of cards, football, wiring, deep tissue massaging, gun firing and reloading, wielding knives or axes, playing a perfect game of darts, some gymnastics, sowing, calligraphy (also many specific handwritings), moderate juggling, poker face, various musical instruments and pitching.

Equipment: Often employs the use of shock collars.

Habits/Quirks: Will smile at people to settle them like a human, though this rarely has the desired effect.

Personality: In all Caesar takes after his creator heavily, being a mimic by design. As the man before him, he is very opportunistic. If there is a chance to gain he will grab at the possibility with both hands, regardless of legality. Generally he is without morals, often coming across as very cold. In most cases he presents himself in a calm, almost solemn, manner. Only when truly angered does his primal side show through. Biting, scratching and kicking in revenge.

Other instances where he reverts back to animal instinct are when great pleasure or fear befalls him. He is endlessly curious and sees no moral dilemma when it comes to appeasing his inquisitive nature. And while not especially intelligent, Caesar can be very studious.

He hates it when people fail to assign him the proper respect, but can be critical himself of those that deliberate in tasks. Be it from disgust, shyness, or conscience. It is also unwise to be wasteful in front of him. He believes everything must be shown their worth and not chucked aside. Be it leftovers or test subjects.

Goals are important to him. The ultimate, is to one day find a way of performing brain surgery on himself and enhance his cranial prowess with every enhancement that he has learned. Given history, Caesar would never entrust this crucial task to anyone else.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Family: Dr Daulton Hinga (Creator), two sisters
Place of Origin: Brazil, South America.
Current City: Brasilia (Will be moving to Jump City)
History: Born at an isolated laboratory enclosure in South Brazil, Caesar never met his parents. Instead he was genetically bred and raised by Doctor Daulton Hinga. The man was a cerebral biologist whose area of expertise lay within the learning capacity of brains. Mainly he stimulated animal brains to their maximum on behalf of a larger scientific body. While highly illegal and secretive, Dr Hinga was paid well for his troubles. Daulton was a great opportunist, and given the safeguards around his research station, he decided to take things one step further. Early in his studies he recognised tamarin brains had a particular suitability to his methods. Already deeply in illegal territory, the fact that tamarins were an endangered species meant little.

Out of his litter, Caesar was the only one to adapt fully. Before even a year old, the monkey could mimic human gestures and stances exactly. The scientist kept him around as a pet, and later a companion as the primate gained the ability to communicate through speech. It took a while before Dr Hinga understood the full scope and ramifications of what he had created. Caesar stood a chance of perfecting any physical discipline the world contained. Within months the tamarin could perform autopsies, and any minor skill the doctor possessed. In fact Caesar hungered for more to learn. He asked Daulton if he could pass on his knowledge of brain surgery, to which the scientist hesitantly agreed.

In time Caesar became Dr Hinga's lab assistant (or rather equal). The duplication of his skills afforded Daulton a lot more free time to spend back in civilization. Caesar also wanted to see the human city, but was time and again refused. The monkey grew more bitter by the day but bottled up his resentment, and bottled it up well. Dr Hinga soon entrusted his creation with a task. He planned to show his creation how to modify a human brain to achieve the same abilities Caesar possessed, and thus have it performed on himself. The monkey agreed to upgrade the doctor.

When unconscious on the operating table, Caesar exposed the man's brain and set about impairing his cognitive functions. Now instead of remembering everything, his creator would be borderline senile. Unable to continue his work as a genius. In his place stood his apprentice, successor, and genetically enhanced better.

Caesar travelled to human places and spent his new found freedom learning from similar surgeons. Mostly by kidnap. He chases world renown medical specialists for a chance to steal their techniques. And when he is finished, Caesar plans to settle down and make a few scientific breakthroughs of his own. Only his scruples do not stop at dissecting animals.

An electronic light shone down. In the abandoned observation room, a man stirred. He shielded his eyes from the harsh illumination and observed his surroundings. The time was 19:04. Subject nine had been unconscious precisely two hours and thirty minutes. That was one accurate knock-out injection. It's use would be the standard in all future kidnappings.

Subject nine struggled to his feet and stopped, staring at a gurney. It was emergency-room make, positioned at the center of the room, with lamps elevated around its perimeter giving a shadow free work space. Also – it held a corpse.

The cadaver had been frozen before now, but was suitably thawed. A middle-aged Caucasian with an amusing shocked look to his features. Subject nine would doubtless ascertain the time of death to be little more than 'recent'. Specimen thirty-five had been easy to kill. And was thankfully not missed in the time it took to bring Subject nine here.

The live man now tried the locked door, kicking at it furiously. A furred head from beyond the two-way mirror shook in irritation. Observations were over. It was time to begin. A microphone boomed across the sealed room, “May I have your attention. Good, now. First off – if you could get a hold of yourself. I did not bring you here to kill you. No. Excellent. In fact I am quite an admirer of your skills. I believe your work was recently described by PAHO as...” Paper rustling could now be heard, “Ah. As 'no finer craftsmanship of man'. With such credentials, how could I resist your kidnap?”

The surgeon cried for mercy, asked to be let go, “Certainly not. You have duties to perform. See that cadaver? Well of course you have. I would like you to first perform an iridectomy. You'll be pleased to hear I took the liberty of killing the subject first. Past so called 'professionals' rather objected to working on live tissue.”

But despair had the man in its grip, he would not simply pick up his tools and demonstrate his ability. Instead he wasted time with more pleas and questions. Finally Caesar curled his lips and activated the shock collar. The scientist spasmed in surprise and at last shut up, “Next time the voltage increases. Can we get on? The sooner the better for all of us.”
