He extended his arms. From his hands emitted a crystal blue fire, shaped like two chinese dragons. They flowed away, twisting around each other before flying back into his hands.

Well Yea... If you can call being a test tube baby.. being born... Yea.. I came to life with my powers She smiled and stepped behind the counter, taking out her flour and some eggs. Wonder what Zuzu is doing..

"Ah. I was a test subject," he said, growling a bit, "I'll never forgive that man for what he did to me."

He shook the memories away, the glint of anger in his eyes fading back to apathy.

"James! Sumi! My cuffs are glowing green!"

He looked extremely confused.

"These haven't changed colors since they were attached to my veins. Something's wrong."

I'm sorry... She pulled some cinnamon out of a cabinet and began kneading and rolling the dough together. So... what made you want to be a Titan? I'm sure it wasn't the great health plan. She heard Zuzu come in and she frowned. Well... what color does green usually mean on a Mood ring? She looked at James and smiled. Zuzu's cuffs... are attached directly to his circulatory system... and they change colors to match his current mood... so far.. they've only been blue.. so this.. is something of a big deal.

He looked at James.

"I'm not a mood ring."

"Keep an ear open for the news. I need to check something... If I'm right, my father left me a manual... but he said I'd never need it.."

"I guess it was boredom." James replied.

He looked at the cuffs for a moment, flinching at the word 'father'. "Just go fix it." he muttered, turning away.

She frowned a little and went back to cooking. This is... this is gonna taste good... It's my best dish... I hope you like it. She tried changing the mood, by bringing up the original conversation.

"Alright," he said with a shrug.

He sighed, pushing his hair back, "It's a very...touchy subject for me...I just hope you never see me when I'm actually angry. I'm really just a jerk hiding behind a mask of confusion."

"Don't worry," he said under his breath, "I don't think you'll have that problem."

James sat down, stretching a bit. "Sure, what about? Music, movies, why no one seems to notice that people are dropping dead every five seconds...Sorry. " he said after that last bit.
