Outside the tower

Anna walks outside. The ocean wind hitting her face. Her hair billowing in teh wind around her.

Shadow sensed a presence near her, as she sat on a rock near the shore. She had been contemplating her life, and so far, had drawn no answers to her future.

Anna sat on a rock and took off her shoes. Then dipped her feet into the water.

Shadow watched Anna through one open eye.

Anna went in a little deeper. Taking off her cloak and going in further and further.

Shadow continued to half watch Anna, but also returned to her earlier thoughts.

Once the water was waist high on Anna she dove and began swimming.

As Shadow watched Anna, she smiled. Seeing people happy gave her a feeling that she couldn't describe, but she liked it. It was almost like sharing their happiness.

She had begun to float when she heard a beeping from her cloak. She swam back to it.

Shadow stiffened when her hearing detected a beeping coming from Anna's cloak. She stayed where she was, but tuned her ear so that she could pick up on the conversation.

Anna looked at the jewel holding her cloak together. It was flashing. And it was the one that was beeping. She took it off and so the there were hinges on it. It could open. She didn't want to answer it becuase she didn't know what would happen. The beeping just kept getting louder and louder and she hooked it back on her cloak.

The continuous beeping sound started to grate on Shadow's nerves.
"Can you just answer that thing!?" She called.

Anna looked at Shadow. "No." she said simply. "It has to stop some time." she continues. And goes back into the water.

Shadow rolled her eyes and returned to her thoughts.
"What a strange girl..."
"You're not much better."
"THANK YOU Rude!"
"Sorry!" Shadow shook her head. Things were always manic in there!
