The library in Titans Tower (if there is one... apart from Raven's room)

Anna walked into the library. She was looking for a special book. A book that might link her to her family somehow. She never knew them. Or at least she didn't remember them. 'Maybe my powers can link me to them.' ANna thought looking around.

Shadow watched Anna walk into the library and silently followed her. Heaning against the door frame, she asked,
"Looking for something particular?"

Anna jumped in fright. "Oh," she says realizing who it is. "Yes. Yes I am."

Shadow nodded and walking into the library.
"Need a hand finding it?"

Anna bits her lip. 'What if when I find it...it says I'm something bad.' she thinks.

Shadow's face softened.
"There is no point fearing what you are. You are welcomed here, no matter who your are, what you are." I half smile danced on her lips. "Most people would run away from me, but I found that I couldn't just hid myself away from the rest of the world. I had to show them who I really was, what I could do, and also that I would not hurt them."

"How do you know what I was thinking?" Anna asks shocked. She takes a step back.

Shadow smiled mysteriously.
"To be honest, I could smell your emotions and also the look on your face gave it away."

"Oh," Anna says relaxing a little bit. "You can smell my emotions?" she asks "Do people smell.....appetizing to you?" she continues.

"I have an extremely good sense of smell, thanks to who I am, and to answer your other question, it depends on the person."

"Am I.....apealing to you?" Anna asks taking a step forward.

Shadow took a step back, and thought about the question.
"I smell that you are a friendly person, but also that you're a bit on the too trusting side, a bit like one of the founder characters, Starfire. For me, that would be off putting, but as you are part of my team, I have to look past that.

Anna takes a step back too. "Could you plz help me find a book?" she asks trying not to be scared.

Shadow smelt a wave of fear coming from the girl and bowed her head.
"What kind of book are you looking for?"
