Powers
Servant Contract: Soleil has made a contract with a Servant, a powerful familiar that takes the form of a great warrior from history. Her Servant takes the form of Kojiro Sasaki, a renowned swordsman from the late Sengoku periord and early Edo period of Feudal Japan.

Spoiler:

As Kojiro's Master, Soleil offers him a large share of her mana to create a body for his spirit to inhabit in exchange for his services as a Servant. As a Servant Kojiro is bound to protect Soleil from anything which may mean to do her harm and must obey any order she gives him, no matter how trivial or how serious.

Master: As a Master Soleil is responsible for more than just giving Kojiro a body. She has multiple abilities designed to aid her Servant in combat. These abilities include:

Recover- As formidable as Kojiro is he is not invincible and is liable to get hurt in battle. When that happens Soleil can lend some of her mana to heal him, though this comes at the cost of draining her stamina to do so. Through this method he can do anything from healing cuts and bruises to recovering lost limbs and organs, so long as Soleil can still provide mana. This can also be used to fix Kojiro's equipment.

Glamour- A simple illusion spell cast upon clothing that makes anyone looking at the target believe they are wearing something different. For example, they may make someone wearing jeans and a T-shirt appear as if they are wearing a formal tuxedo. Mostly used on herself and Kojiro, so that they can blend in.

Mental Link- This spell allows Master and Servant to be linked mentally, allowing mental communication between the two of them. This allows them to communicate non-verbally so long as they are bound by contract.

Emergency teleport- As a Servant Kojiro cannot stray too far from Soleil, both because of his duty as her protector and because he literally cannot exist more than a certain distance away, but there are times where he may be forced to stray further away from her then he likes. If Kojiro is far away from Soleil and she feels threatened Soleil can use this spell to have Kojiro return to her side in an instant.

Servant physiology: Though Kojiro's duty as a Servant is a very demanding task he is given some advantages over his old human body that help make his burden a little lighter. His new body is made of mana, and thus has very few of the limitations that humans have. He has no need for food, water, air or sleep, and his body is no longer affected by his old age. He is also immune to most poisons, except those that are of a supernatural or magical nature.

In addition to this his physical capabilities are far beyond what they once were, no longer constrained by the limits of a mortal body. He can lift up to 1 ton, strike with that much force and also take up to that much force in return without being harmed, on top of moving up to 200 miles per hour. On top of this he has amazing reflexes, good enough to easily deflect bullets so long as he sees them coming.

Transcendental swordsman: While Kojiro was already an extremely skilled swordsman in life he did not give up on his training after his death, continuing his training even in the afterlife. As a result he has become an amazing swordsman, possessing skills that simply are not possible to achieve in a single lifetime. Combined with his enhanced capabilities as a Servant and he is an extremely dangerous combatant, entering the range of his sword is essentially jumping into a meat grinder.

In addition to this Kojiro has an additional ability granted by his status as a Servant. He can use some of the mana lent to him by Soleil to coat his blade, enhancing the striking power of his sword strikes to the point where he can cut almost anything. This ability requires him to spend a moment to move his hand over the blade, meaning that he can't just throw these out as casually as an ordinary sword swing, this also causes the blade to glow with a bright blue shine meaning that even those who are not aware of the ability will likely know something's up.

Skills
Soleil:
*Great mental fortitude (Exceptional skill)
*Great observational skills (Exceptional skill)
*Highly resistant to psychic abilities (Exceptional skill)
*Studious
*Determined

Kojiro:
*Skilled hand to hand combatant (Exceptional skill)
*Skilled marksman (Exceptional skill)
*Excellent senses (Exceptional skill)
*Skilled hunter
*Intelligent

Abilities
N/A: Soleil is quite unfit and for Kojiro anything that would count as an ability has already been discussed in the powers section.

Physical Weaknesses
Mana toll: Summoning a Servant takes a large toll on Soleil's mana, so much so that she cannot use most of her spells while giving Kojiro a body. If she wants to make use of her stronger spells she will have to dispel Kojiro for a while. In addition, healing Kojiro drains her mana, the more damage she recovers the more mana she loses. If she loses too much mana she will collapse from exhaustion.

Physically weak: Soleil is more of a bookworm than an athlete, she is not very fit. She can't run very fast or far, she struggles to lift heavy objects without dropping them and she can neither hit hard nor take hits well.

Reliance: Kojiro's current body is essentially a mana construct made by Soleil, while this makes him very powerful it is not without drawbacks. For one he relies on Soleil to keep his body functioning, meaning that if she were to die then Kojiro would dissapear and return to the afterlife. Because he relies on her for mana he also cannot stray too far from her, if he tries to move more than 50 metres away from her then he will be stopped as if there's an invisible wall in his way.

Anti-Magic: As a magic user Soleil shares a weakness that all magic users share: anti-magic. Though in her case it doesn't affect her as badly as it affects her Servant, since he is essentially just a magic construct with emotions. For one thing, if they are within an anti-magic field then Soleil's support abilities will not work, including her mental link, emergency teleport, Kojiro's ability to enhance the power of his slashes and most importantly her ability to heal him. In addition, any wounds dealt to Kojiro with any kind of anti-magic attack will ignore his durability and will not heal on their own, even long after the battle is over, meaning that if a fatal wound were to be inflicted there would be nothing either of them could do to save him. If such a wound were to be inflicted non-lethally it would still not recover, the only way to return Kojiro to a healthy state would be for Soleil to deconstruct his body and summon him a new one, a lengthy process that she would absolutely not be able to do in a dangerous situation.

Mental Weaknesses
Curse of Sorrow: Having the heritage of one of the seven(?) deadly sins comes with several upsides and only one downside, but the downside out weighs the upsides several times over. Everyone from the bloodline of Sorrow are all inflicted with a terrible curse: from the day they're born they are fated to meet a tragic end. They will never have a happy ending, nor will they ever be fortunate enough to die a quick and easy death. Soleil lives life with this knowledge hanging over her head, any happy experience is sullied by this curse.

Mood swings: Soleil is prone to mood swings. It doesn't matter what kind of mood she's in or how strongly she's feeling that mood, when her mood swings she'll just shut off like a switch has been flipped and want nothing more than to go home and sleep. It is not at all uncommon for her to wake up feeling this way and just spend the entire day in bed. This can happen at inconvenient times and completely kill her motivation to try hard at anything, nothing short of a direct threat to her life will spur her into action, and even then she'll be pretty half-hearted about it.

Honour: Even beyond his obligations as Soleil's Servant Kojiro is bound by a strict code of honour. He won't turn his blade against innocents, nor will he perform cowardly acts. He follows this code very strictly, and will not break it even if doing so would be easier on him or if it was a more efficient way of solving whatever problem he has. However, he is bound to Soleil's service and must follow any order she gives him, even if it breaks his code of honour. Soleil is hesitant to do this though, as she does not want to ruin her relationship with her Servant.

Subservient: In relation to the last weakness, Kojiro is completely subservient to Soleil. He must obey her every order, regardless of whether or not he is actually willing to do so. He must also prioritise her safety above all else, even his own wellbeing, unless doing so is in complete contrast to an order he has been giving. In other words he has no true free will as Soleil's Servant. He tries not to resent Soleil, knowing that it's not her fault and that this is just the nature of a Master/Servant relationship, but even so this still drives a wedge between the two of them.

Equipment
Soleil owns a mobile phone with a really good camera.

The only equipment Kojiro needs is his famous blade Monohoshizao; a Nodachi with a blade measured at over 90cm. He can summon this blade into his hands at any time, forgoing the need to carry it around in a sheath.

«««CEREBRAL PROFILE»»»

Personality
Soleil is a young woman with an extremely inquisitive and curious mind, eager to learn and find out what mysteries life has to offer. She tends to act pretty aloof, even if she's actually very excited, and generally radiates a cool and detached aura. Though she tries not to let it affect her too much Soleil constantly suffers from negative thoughts, she tries to distract herself from them but its not always easy.

Soleil is very desensitised to death, having been surrounded by it even from a young age. Even if someone she cared about was to die in front of her she would not be moved at all, not because she doesn't care about the person but because she is so used to seeing people die that it simply doesn't affect her. This doesn't discourage her from forming new relationships, she just accepts that this is how they will end. This outlook on death extends even to herself, she simply puts no value on her own life.

Soleil's negativity and her outlook on death does not stop her from going out and experiencing new things, she still allows her curiosity and adventurous nature to dictate how she chooses to live life. She knows that she is going to meet a tragic end, so she decides to at least make the moments in between now and then enjoyable. On the flipside, if she does not enjoy something then it is almost impossible to get her to do it, citing that life is too short to be bored or upset.

Soleil has a good relationship with Kojiro. Despite the two of them being Master and Servant Soleil chooses to treat the older man as more of a partner teammate rather than a tool or a weapon. Though Kojiro's tendency to treat her like a child does sometimes annoy the girl. Despite her position of power over the man the two tend to bicker quite a lot, leading to arguments that Kojiro tends to win.

Soleil's likes include reading, discovering new things, solving mysteries, exciting situations and black coffee. Her dislikes include wasting time, being stuck indoors (except when she doesn't feel like leaving), tiring physical activities, the smell of cigarette smoke, waiting for long times, putting milk in coffee, things that taste sweet and people trying to cover up the truth. Her hobbies include visiting lesser known local cafes and reading, which is pretty much all she does with her time when she's not out and about looking for interesting things.

«««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»»

Family Members: Deceased Parents, several deceased uncles, aunts, cousins and siblings. Three living Uncles, two living aunts, eight living siblings, seventeen living cousins.
Place of Origin: The USA

History
Soleil belongs to the Sorrow family, a clan of mages who are descended from a demon known as Sorrow, who apparently has some connection to the seven deadly sins. Sorrow had many half-human children for unknown reasons, and those children were granted with an innate gift for magic thanks to their heritage. Sorrow didn't just pass gifts onto his children though, they were all born with a terrible curse cast upon them; the curse of Sorrow.

As the children grew older not all of them lived very long lives, it was tragic but not unexpected back in that age. What was unexpected was how each of their deaths seemed to be tragedies of some kind, none of them died ordinary or quick deaths. Eventually those that lived long enough would have offspring of their own who would also be afflicted with the curse.

Upon realising that this was indeed a curse and not just a series of unfortunate coincidences the family came together to try and find a solution to rid themselves of the curse. They found no success, and often the despair that arose from this failure would be what led to their deaths by the curse. After a few generations of this the family would go on to decide that these efforts were futile, and that instead they would look to be successful in their endeavours in spite of the curse.

Thousands of years passed and Soleil was born as one of many children of the current head of the Sorrow family. The girl had many siblings that were both younger and older than her, because of the curse the Sorrow family gave birth to several children within a generation to increase the chances of enough of them surviving long enough to have offspring of their own. Although Soleil was literally surrounded by family there was little love to be found in her household, her family were all so used to seeing loved ones die that they detached themselves from each other so there would be no feeling of loss when they died.

Soleil found this out the hard way at the age of six when her mother died. The young girl cried and cried, but her older siblings and the adults in their family went on with their business as usual, merely acknowledging the death rather than emotionally reacting to it. This wasn't the first time this would happen though, and Soleil would eventually start acting the same way. Four years later, the now 10 years old Soleil would receive the news about her own fathers death and only give a sound of acknowledgement, not even looking up from her book.

Having been born into a mage family Soleil did not go to a regular school but was instead home-schooled by her family. Alongside her education Soleil would do some research of her own, particularly interested in magic involving summoning familiars. She begun looking into a particularly interesting method for summoning a powerful familiar, making that the topic of her research for the next few years.

A few years later Soleil would take an interest in Jump City and the escapades of the Teen Titans, making sure to keep up to date with all the latest incidents from Jump. Recently things have gotten even crazier in Jump, with a giant snake attack right in downtown being the most recent cooky event. This wackiness piqued the girl's interest and she decided that she was going to move to Jump City to check it out.

But before she could leave she had to finish her research. Gathering all the resources she needed, she decided that she would try out this method of summoning herself. After making all her preparations she tried out the method and it worked! Standing before her was a warrior from the past, an aged samurai in red. He introduced himself as Kojiro Sasaki, and the two of them would agree to a contract, becoming a Master and Servant.

Now with her capable bodyguard at her side Soleil set off to Jump City, eager to explore the city and all its mysteries.
