| Codename: Weaver Nickname(s): Annie, Anna, Lady Shadow Age: 18 Race: Tiefling (Half-Human/Demon) Alignment: Neutral Is this a canon?: No «««PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION»»» Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Amber Gender: Female Height: 4'05" (8'05 Half-Demon) Weight: 90LB (150 half-demon) Other Traits: Multuple piercings. Half-Demon form grants blue tinted skin, horns, a spade tail, bat-like wings, claws and talons. «««SKILL SET»»» Main Power Origins: Supernatural Powers
- Half-Demon: While still fully unaware of the specifics, Diana is one of the rare and "lucky" few to despite her human half, be born with the genetics of a Demon Lord; which is for some reason better than regular demons- in this case, succubi. Similarly to Raven, Diana has a more demonic looking form. In this form, she can grow wings, horns, a prehensile spade tail, and her pale skin turns a tint of blue. She is physically more robust in this form, able to fly and move up to a speed of 50mph; her strength and durability increase to 5 tons.
- Life Drain: An ability succubi are known for, where they are able to take mortal souls. This is a lesser developed ability of Diana's, used in a pinch to gain an upper hand. Through physical contact (even though clothes) Diana can siphon someone's lifeforce, which helps her recover from injuries, fight for longer while wearing out her victims. She only drains small amounts at a time, and requires 5 minutes of unbroken contact to fully drain a person; life lost this way gradually "returns" after contact is broken.
- Umbrakinesis: Part of Diana's more "exotic" powers from her demon heritage, where she manipulates the darkness around her, or calls upon the abyss of hell. This is where she has devoted most of her time developing, and has many uses. Her primary use of the darkness is a means of getting around through shadows, ranging from "Nightcrawler" popping around up to 15 from point A to point B. Using her own shadow, she can also phase through solid objects- great for stealing things out of display cases. She can also sink into dark areas, and move through the "plane of shadow" to get around across longer distances much faster.
- Shadowstuff: Using the darkness around her and combining the darkness of the Abyss, Diana can craft various constructs composed of Abyssal Energy (darkness) which can be used for many things; one defining rule is that the construct mimics what the real life version is- a sword will slice like a sword, and a gun will shoot. These types of constructs are temporary, and she can only maintain one at a time; but she CAN make more permanent ones with time and effort. Her affinity for the darkness also allows her to create "living darkness" which loosely function like more demonic body parts. These types of constructs are the strongest she can form, but she can't maintain them for very long at all; but they can be used in a pinch to either shield her from up to 20 tons of force, or throw a 20 ton punch. In addition, these "organic" constructs can be used (albeit very briefly) to drain a larger chunk of life from a victim.
- Darkness Adaptation: Diana was always a nocturnal soul, but with her powers based in darkness, she's simply grown to become more of a nocturnal creature overall. She effectively has dark vision, actually able to see "cloaked" or invisible people to a degree in pitch blackness. In addition, Diana's physical abilities are all heightened to above "human peak" performance, but not quite high enough to be considered "superhuman."
- Chameleon Skin: Named more after one of her favorite Illusion spells from a game, which enables her to "blend in" with her surroundings. In the dark or in dimly lit areas, she can do this almost seamlessly. BUT she can also do it in broad daylight by causing light to mostly pass through her body. However, moving too quickly either by running or attacking disrupts both variations, and the daylight one still has a slight shimmer at times- kinda like The Predator.
SkillsExceptional Gamer: Self-explanatory, really- she's very good at playing video games of different genres. She prefers platformers and other 2D style games.
Exceptional Programmer: A field she learned to better adapt to the increasing needs of computer experts in this modern world. Also the best way to break into computer systems, is knowing how one goes about programming them in the first place.
Exceptional Technologist: While note quite on the level of technological geniuses like Cyborg, Diana knows enough about various electronics or mechanical devices to grasp the techno-mumbo jumbo that geniuses can spout. She's also disassembled enough robots to have a good understanding of flaws or weaknesses in the "common" models used.
Lockpicking: Some doors still use traditional locks, and she's gotten okay at picking them- when she doesn't want to use her powers.
Sewing: Just a hobby mostly, combined with her Shadowstuff, she can actually "shadow-weave" clothing.
Budgeting: Diana's become quite the penny pincher, and this extends to more than just "saving a buck."
Abilities Minor Telepathy: Diana can "hear" thoughts much like someone in the room speaking, and the clarity of information recieved is limited in the same way- a room full of people thinking creates noise too. She can also communicate mentally to other people, typically as faint whispers regardless of distance.
Pheremones: The ability that actually caused people to act the way they did around her. This is a passive ability that she has little control of, though perhaps from sheer force of will she has been able to mostly suppress them to the point where only through constant and prolonged exposure, will they adversely affect someone. He wearing clothes to cover herself up also helps lessen the effects, and different people react slightly differently.
Hand-eye-coordination: Diana's good with her hands, and can more easily look away while doing a task- or throw shoes with better accuracy.
Physical Weaknesses Holy/Blessed: Contrary to appearances, she is actually more vulnerable to holy or divine based items, magic or attacks. She more or less becomes a normal human being when on sacred ground outside using her telepathy. Attacks or weapons of this nature will also still affect her while in her incorporeal form, any injury she takes reverting with her.
Light Sensitivity: Diana spends a lot of time in the dark, out of the sun. Not only does this make her eyesight more sensetive to sudden extreme changes of light, it is the primary bane of her existence. Sunlight itself makes her uncomfortable and affects her ability to concentrate on generating and controlling her constructs. Being completely surrounded by strong lights prevents her from "nightcrawling" around. In addition, DURING THE DAY, Diana is much more sluggish and out of it than if it was night time. Constructs she makes on a whim using Shadowstuff are also highly vulnerable to being dismissed via a flashlight, and sunlight can damage her more permanent constructs through constant exposure.
Disorientation: Nightcrawling around too often too quickly causes severe motion sickness.
Mental Weaknesses Avaricious: This hasn't changed. If anything, it's gotten worse. It's not enough for her to just have nice things any more, she also has to have plenty of money. Because in her mind, having money ensures safety. Whereas she feels that she deserves nice things.
Possessive: Goes in hand with the above flaw, she hates to share. And this also extends to the few people she even remotely cares about. She hates sharing her loved ones.
Paranoia: Diana is incredibly paranoid, whether it be trust issues, or being overly cautious- she overthinks things.
Power Corrupts: Diana has either learned, or atleast believes that relying too much on her powers are a bad thing- which actually seems to have some truth to it. Normally she is able to suppress her more demonic features, and she acts very rationally. But using her powers (her Umbrakinesis especially) too much does encourage her more demonic traits to surface; she's also trying to minimize people knowing possible weaknesses.
Equipment Shadow Gear: A series of simple but effective tools and clothing used in her heists, consisting of a specially designed Shadow Suit which causes body heat to more slowly seep through. It also comes with lockpicks, glasscutters and various other small handheld tools contained in a kind of utility belt of sorts.
E.M.P Charge: Akin to an electro-shock disc, designed to overload and fry electronic devices- also hurts people from the charge but is far more potent against synthetics.
Shadow Darts: Special throwing darts which have been laced with sedatives.
«««CEREBRAL PROFILE»»» PersonalityDiana had a rough life growing up, and learned to believe very early on you could only rely and trust on yourself- and money made the world go around. A staunch stoic, Diana is quiet and prefers speaking as little as possible except when necessary. She also prefers to keep to herself... period, and only tolerates the company of very few people- more so if she gets something out of it. Diana's primary ambition is to amass a great amount of wealth, and to live comfortably and securely from what that brings. To this end, she will steal. Fortunately if you don't look like you have money, or clearly are in worse shape than her, Diana will ignore you- for better or worse. Diana has a sweeth tooth, actually gets drunk off of caffeine, AND loves video games. «««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»» Family Members: Unknown Place of Origin: Gotham HistoryGrowing up in Gotham was hard for many, and even more so if you were born with horns and a tail. In spite of these clearly demonic traits, Diana was very well behaved even as a baby. She was raised in an orphanage, making her life difficult- in more ways than one. Initially, things were mostly difficult due to her appearance. She was begrudgingly taken care of for one reason or another, but was otherwise kept out of sight- and learning was difficult at first. It was as she started to get older, that things started to get... easier and more complicated. Some of her innate abilities from her demonic heritage started to surface, and people started to talk about hearing voices from time to time- usually when around her. But people started becoming more inclined to do things for her, especially males- mostly. Diana also soon learned how to hide her features outside of covering them with a hoodie and hiding her tail under her clothes. She could actually make her features sink back into her body, and with that stigma gone, there was no further reason to keep her in hiding. Soon afterwards she was quickly adopted, which seemed great at first. But then things started to get... bad quickly due to her heritage. She soon became distant and found it harder to trust, and tried to find ways to control these undesirable traits- instead developing new ones. The voices people heard, were her own thoughts seeping into the minds of others; likewise she could hear the thoughts of those around her. Adoption soon became more trouble than it should ever be worth, and so she devoted her time to becoming self reliant as soon as possible. She soon found her more exotic dark powers were very useful for acts of petty theft- and getting out of trouble that may cause. With patience, time and when she was old enough, she finally did get out on her own. But she quickly developed a hunger, and a fear of once again being in a position of poverty. She eventually moved to Steel City to make a new life for herself, and still had a taste for crime- if it made her more money right? With her school and field of expertise, she was surprised with just how quickly she landed herself a "backup" job that paid very well. «««Sample RP»»» No
