Ritsuka Command Spells:

On the backside of his right hand are his Command Spells that he received due to special circumstances. Normally they are the crystallization of a great magic carved into a magus at the moment of summoning a servant. Holy marks signifying a magi's status as a Master, given the orthodox nature the Fujimaru family they somewhat twisted the system to carve them into Ritsuka early by using an artificial grail the family created. The forefront reasoning is to groom their heir into a true master as well exercise his magic circuits as the command seals passively drain him due to it’s nature to mimic the drain when a master summons a servant. Beside this their true reasoning is they want Ritsuka to become a good enough magus to reach the Root which is the ultimate ambition of the Magi.

Lore Description:

Ritsuka can see and interact with spirits only visible to him. Given the low cost nature of the spell it is castes by channeling magic to the eyes. His eyes will remain enchanted for about hour and will need to cast again to keep up his sight.

Exceptional Thaumaturgy ~ In the crudest description of the word it is a art of speciality that is to bring about what is possible through science with supernatural means; although the process is considered a miracle, the end result is not. A general term used to refer to the several modern schools of Magecraft such as Astrology, Kabbalah, Alchemy, and Shinsendou. At a young age Ritsuka has attain a great wealth of arcane knowledge from his family private lessons.

Physical Weaknesses

Mana Pool - Magical energy powers all magecraft, and it can be analogous to gasoline. As such the more he uses his magecraft the faster he will tire himself out and will be brought to the point of exhaustion if he pushes himself dry.


Mental Weaknesses


Restless - Ritsuka has a tough time staying in one place for long due to his huge wanderlust drive. Along with his morality he would dive head first into a dangerous situation even when he is outmatched.

Over-Zealous - His enthusiasm on both the mysteries of life and it’s legends has caused others his credibility of whether what he is saying is genuine or another crazy conspiracy theorist.

Personality
Intelligent, compassionate, self-conscious and rational, Ritsuka Fujimaru dreams of exploring the world and learning its secrets. Born adventurer at soul and blood, Ritsuka Fujimaru can't sit still for very long and is always looking for the next mystery to solve. His scrupulous attention to detail comes in handy when he is off figuring out the mystery or riddle of the day. As most of his family he has inherited his family bravery and curiosity, not even the darkest of unknowns will scare him away.

In his social life he has a warm outlook on life and loves to study the arcane. His strong moral compass often put him in tense situation with rowdy students or other criminal activities regardless of whether he is outgun or outnumber Ritsuka will interfere. Outside of social life he would be mostly in his family mansion studying in their laboratories, library, or observatory. When not studying he would indulge himself in fantasy books as he grew to love many of earth legends and myths.

While he does view the world through rose colored lenses he is self aware enough to realize that he is an guinea pig bred by his family to bring Magus closer to the Root, but he accepted his origins as he sees it as a chance for him to learn more about the mysteries of the world. So he forgives his family and strives to become a strong Magus.

History

The Fujimaru Family is an prestigious family of Magus well known in the Mage's Association for their advances in Thaumaturgy and experiments of find a path to the Swirl of the Root. For seeing it, reaching it, and understanding it is what some would describe as "the capabilities of God". Amongst the family experiments was Ritsuka Fujimaru who unbeknownst to him was a stillborn. His corpse was used in a ritual that involved the Fujimaru Artifical Holy Grail which is essentially a clump of magical energy that is directly connected from the Root. They integrated their artifact into Ritsuka to see if a physical body can handle the stress of it. In an unexpected twist Ritsuka was resurrected which was met with mixed reactions. Masahiro deemed to keep the boy alive to study his growth and see if he can provide the answers they are looking for. The rest of the family agreed with the family head.

After that miraculous event Ritsuka had a somewhat decent childhood. When he was not being groomed to be a proud family Magus he would spent his long days in the manor library reading it’s volumes. As he grew older so did his curiosity, delving into more advance wings of the library to immerse himself in the complexity of the world. His wanderlust was noticed by his family and some were concerned of him delving into the more restricted sections, to satisfy him the family send him to Jump City for schooling so that he can explore the world as well being seperated from the family library. Meanwhile Ritsuka was aware of his family schemes thanks to his inquisitive nature and instead of being hurt by their actions he took it as a golden opportunity to see the world outside the manor walls. So as he boarded the train with his bags to Jump City he faced the unknown certainty that is his future with a light heart, eager to uncover what mysteries await in the wide world before him.
