PowersThunderbird Physiology - In Astra's family, they heavily embrace their Ojibwe Culture, of which the story of the Thunderbird originated. They believe that the Thunderbird is reincarnated within the souls of one human every hundred years. It allows her to be superior to the average human, in that meaning her senses and physicality has been increased. The Thunderbird has been reborn.
Electrokinesis - Naturally, Astra is capable of generating and manipulating any form of electricity. Additionally, she is able to assert her will over electrical fields, electrons, and anything that carries a charge. When around a large source of electricity, she is capable of empowering herself with the substance, though she can overload herself should she get charged up too much.
Flight - Astra is able to achieve flight on her own, through her own natural means. At peak speed, she is able to move up to speeds of one-hundred miles-per-hour.
Regenerative Healing Factor - Due to her body's natural accelerated cellular structure, Astra heals from wounds quicker than the average human is able to. While minor cuts and grazes can take seconds, more severe injuries, such as limb removal, can take weeks. If she has used too much of her power supply, she will be subjected to the normal pace of healing.
Electrical Immunity - As she is the Thunderbird, Astra is completely unfazed by electricity.
Enhanced Condition - Astra is empowered as the Thunderbird, and is in a better condition than the average human. She is capable of exerting more strength, moving faster, and overall performing better than a regular human could. Although she is capable of taking several hits, it all depends on the power. Strike her down with enough force and she'll stay down. She is capable of taking up to half a ton, 1,000 pounds, of force before becoming fazed.
Thunderbird Transformation - When gathering all of her energy, Astra is able to transform into the legendary avian itself -- the Thunderbird. Upon moving into that form, she is able to create storms, thunder, and lightning. The skies are her home, and she has free reign over it. As of now, she is unaware that she is able to do so. When awakening the form, she will be able to remain in the form for about five minutes, before returning. Through training will she be able to stay in longer. After returning to her regular form, she will be completely drained of her energy and likely unconscious.

- Agile.

- Her emotions can cause her powers to malfunction.
- Can be poisoned.
Mental Weaknesses- Defensive; when feels as though she's being targeted, she will react in a usually hot-headed manner.
- Stubborn.
- Easily angered.
Equipment- Ojibwe Totem Charm; her parents have always told her to keep her charm with her, as when she wears it, her ancestors will remain with her in spirit.
«««CEREBRAL PROFILE»»»
PersonalityDue to the death of her brother, which was years ago, Astra became extroverted, and is usually a lot more gloomy when she hasn't seen any pals of hers for some time. Therefore, friends are really important to her, and she wouldn't be the same without them. Astra makes friends pretty easily, but can sometimes latch onto people without being aware of it. Sometimes, she can feel lonely, and so she subconsciously desires somebody who will never forsake her, like how her father did to their family. She cherishes those who are close to her, and will never mix up her loyalties with him. As she is afraid of being abandoned again, this will lead her to never doing that to anybody else.
LikesTacos, training, reading, being around friends.
DislikesMalice, arrogance, peas, anger.
Habits/HobbiesFighting crime, sparring, watching the sunset.
«««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»»
Family Members: Eugene Caldarelli (Father, Alive), Olive Caldarelli (Mother, Alive), Orion Caldarelli (Brother, Deceased)
Place of Origin: Washington, DC.
HistoryYou were a fighter from a young age. Swinging and dodging were instilled in your mind, as you were taught from your mother, as she had been taught by hers. It helped that your older brother was also in the rough crowd. With the absence of your father, you fought due to anger, stress, and a multitude of different emotions. You eventually got used to getting popped in the face, and returning with your own set of hits. Suspensions weren't uncommon, and the feeling of your foe's bone moving from beneath your fist became good. It meant you were winning -- you were able to cause a bigger injury than they were to you. Whoopings became an everyday thing; your butt tended to be red from being subjected to your mother's belt.
As you began to mature a bit, you ceased your aggressive habits, and began to focus more-so on your family. Your mother was shell-like -- it was not difficult to see the abysmal void that your father's abandonment left in her heart. She still had some motherly qualities, but there were times where she was just..out of it. Your brother had no choice but to step up as the man of the house, especially because you all lived in a bad neighborhood. It was usual to hear gunshots popping off in the night, and the occasional sound of sirens racing down your street. Your brother was in the streets, and you worried for him a lot. What if he suddenly wasn't there anymore to make the family dinner? To take care of them? And then it happened.
"A young male was found in a convenience store dead. Store owners said he was shot by mysterious figures who'd suddenly stormed into the store. However, they escaped before he could see their faces." Initially, tears didn't arrive in your eyes. You were stunned; it seemed like your heart stopped, and everything around you seemed much more distant. The touch of your mother's arms sprung tears to life as you began to ache, trembling with the realization that your brother was gone. His warm presence had already began to fade from your mind. With a quivering gaze, you looked up at your mother's face. Blank, but tears stained her cheeks, and you could finally understand some of what was going through her mind.
After the death of your brother, your mother became more alive, more active. Determined to protect the one child she had left, she began doing her all to make sure you could grow up successful. It took her will to work three jobs for her to get you into a good school while also keeping up with the rent. After school, you tended to walk to your brother's grave. You usually sat there for a while and just spoke, pretending that he was there, rather than some thick piece of rock in the ground. You missed his smile -- his way of showing that everything would be alright. A lot of people had thought he was bad, but you knew the true side of him.
Soon, you and your mother moved to Jump City, where you were enrolled in a seemingly-nice high school. HIVE Academy. But there was more going on than your mother thought. Fueled by the anger of your father leaving you, you settled into the academy for young villains in-training, though you didn't want to be a villain. Just someone whose morals didn't agree with the law.
