Karaoke (bloo)

I am sitting at a table by myself. People keep glancing over at me in excitement. I've become a regular here and people have started looking forward to my singing. A strand of bright red hair floats down from my braid and I tuck it behind my ear. I sit and observe the singer currently onstage. Not bad. Obviously new but is nice to listen to.

Greed was singing, and though he didn't think he was doing terrible... this was not his thing, really.
"One way, or another, I'm gonna find you~"
The song was a remix of an old classic, with a strange spin on it that made it sound more ominous. ( Here! )

When he finished, he grabbed his mixed drink from the bar table and sat with a confident air about him next to the redheaded regular. "I think the crowds waiting for you, tiger." The nickname was playful, with nothing behind it really.

I tilt my head with a curious smile. "Why yes I believe they are. But They can wait a little longer." I turn towards the stranger. "I would like to know what makes you first sit at a random girl's table and second call her 'tiger'?" I give a friendly smile, to show that I'm not hostile. "Though I'm not complaining. I would enjoy some company and a new face."

Greed sipped his drink, leaving her a moment of silence after her question. He checked his phone quickly, looking at the screen as he spoke. "Don't worry, tiger. There's nothing random about it. I have a tendency to find the most interesting person in the room. It's... a gift. I hear your singing is a gift too. Go up, kid. I want to hear it."

Greed snapped to get the bar tenders attention, holding up two fingers and pointing at his drink. "Unless you need the liquid courage?"

I raise an eyebrow. "Ok, let me get something straight hon. I'm not a 'kid'. As for the 'liquid courage' I have no idea what you mean but it sounds interesting so I'm willing to try it." I tilt my head. "I am glad to be called interesting however. I'm assuming it's a compliment." I smile as the bar tender sets down a small shot in front of me. I look down at it. "That's it?" I once again raise an eyebrow and look up at the man who sat down with me.

"In my experience, anyone that has to announce that they aren't a kid... has some ways to go, kid." Greed observed with a gentle chuckle, sliding the shot closer to her. "Try it. If you need more, there's always more. I still haven't figured out why you're interesting, so maybe you'll need a few."

I chuckle. "Ok then." I grab the shot, tilt back my head and drown it. I give the guy a quick smile and hop up, waving to the person announcing the next singer.

They announce me as 'Tigress.' I smirk, and get on-stage. "You guys ready?" I hold up three fingers to the person playing the songs and an alternative song starts up.
