«««SKILL SET»»»

Powers
-Physiology - The Serpentor are an alien race of snake like beings.  They are a rather long lived race, easily reaching a thousand years of age.  This race are powerful warriors, thanks to their surprising resilience.  A mature Serpentor warrior's scales can easily withstand most small arms fire, letting them take a lot of damage before going down (about 3 tons of pressure).  If one doesn't finish them off they'll find the fallen Serpentor back in the fight within a few hours or a few days (depending on severity of the wounds) thanks to their ability to regenerate every part of their body besides their brain.  Lastly all Serpentor are born with an extremely venomous bite, but are thankfully immune to all known poisons including their own.

-Galaxy's Strongest Acid.  Zil'costa was born with a particularly potent variation of her race's poison, so potent in fact that it is better classified as a volatile acid.  Her acid spit is powerful enough to eat through even toughest of metals and organic compounds.  Due to the same quirk in her genetics that gave her this savage gift, she is also immune to her own acid and any acid weaker than her own as well.  Through training over the years she has mastered her spit, able to spray it with accuracy up to thirty meters away or up to forty meters if she doesn't need to be very accurate.  This powerful acid takes time for her body to replenish, so she can only manage to spray a good eight shots in a day.  Oddly enough there are two other substances beside her own body that aren't affected by her acid.  Her special crystal armor/weaponry and ordinary glass (so that includes sand too).  Depending on the toughness of a material it will take longer for her acid to dissolve.  For example if she doused a common car in her acid the paint and tires would be gone near instantly, while the metal would take more than long enough for a passenger to escape from the vehicle, and the glass windows would be utterly unaffected.  Common metals like steel take a few minutes to dissolve, while titanium would take two or three times as long to dissolve as steel.

-Memory Crystal.  Being an elite warrior for the Serpentor Zil'costa was gifted with a rare memory crystal from her home planet.  This crystal is bound to a warrior in a painful process that fuses it to their body and mind.  Not all survive the process.  Those that do survive are able to control this crystal, using it to form protective armor that reacts to the user's mind.  They can also grow unsophisticated weaponry with the crystal, such as swords, clubs, spears, etc.  The crystal responds to the host's body, doing all it can to protect it's host, sometimes acting without the host consciously activating it by forming a protective layer against a surprise attack.  This automatic protection is not as effective as a directed effort by the host, so powerful attacks could break right through this defense if they hit hard enough.  A concentrated effort is capable of hardening the crystal to a near diamond hardness, while the instinctive reaction of the crystal is only about as hard as steel.  The Memory Crystal is a living being, and does need rest.  Continued use in a combat situation where it needs to regenerate or change shape will sap it's power, but if it's just being used as armor to be worn around it can do so all day easily.  Zil'costa usually wears her crystal as armor over her foreheard like a tiara, but extends it to cover more during a combat situation.  In combat she creates an effective suit of armor that covers her entire torso, arms, neck, and head including a visor for her eyes.

Skills
-Serpentor Warrior Training.  Zil'costa is an elite soldier of her species.  She has trained extensively in both armed and unarmed combat.  Give her a weapon and she'll put it to good use.  Fight her while she's unarmed, even without her crystal being powered and you'll still find her a tough fight.
-Serpentor Endurance Training.  Through many vigorous trials and combat experience Zil'costa has managed to attain a high level of endurance, able to fight for hours on end if need be.
-Commander Material.  Zil'costa is a capable commander for troops, whether it be on a small squad scale or a larger planetary war scale.  Delegating duty to those best suited to accomplish the task comes easily to her.
-Skilled Pilot.  Zil'costa is experienced at piloting Serpentor vehicles and would be considered an ace by most races' standards.  However her body makes it nearly impossible to pilot human vehicles.

Physical Weaknesses
-The biggest weakness for the Serpentor is their vulnerability to cold temperatures.  Colder temperatures will slow them down, and if cold enough cause them to go into a hibernation of sorts.  The lower the temperature, the more sluggish they become.

-Serpentor eyes are a bit slow to adjust and have some trouble with sudden changes from bright to dark or dark to bright.  Flashing lights are particularly effective at blinding them for extended periods of time unless they are wearing some sort of eye protection.

Mental Weaknesses
-Despite her accomplishments and talent, Zil'costa is rather lazy.  She would much rather sunbathe on a nice warm beach than go tracking down some enemy of the state.  It sometimes takes a bit to motivate her in things that don't fall directly into her definition of 'duty'.

-Incredibly blunt.  She does not mince words when she speaks.  Zil'costa will speak as she sees things, sometimes being exceedingly undiplomatic and sometimes coming across as quite rude.  She doesn't mean to be, but she just doesn't feel any need to sugar coat words or say things nicely.  This sometimes leads to unneeded confrontations that could have been avoided and make her seem more aggressive than she really is.

Equipment
-Memory Crystal, as it's bonded with her body.
-Babble Stone necklace.  This standard issue item it given to any Serpentor who leaves the home planet.  The Babble Stone resembles an ordinary ruby, but is in reality a tiny computer designed to translate alien languages for the wearer so that they can quickly learn a new language.  After learning the language they no longer need to wear the stone, but most wear it constantly just so they don't lose it... as they are expensive to replace.  Zil'costa had hers coated in glass to protect it from her venomous acid spit.
-Hand held blaster.  A rechargeable handgun type weapon that fires super heated plasma bolts.  Has about the same impact as a magnum but also causes burns.  Hold twenty shots before needing a replacement charge.

«««CEREBRAL PROFILE»»»

Personality
Zil'costa is what many in her race consider an impressive warrior and wonderful soldier.  She doesn't see herself as such.  She joined her race's military mostly because she wanted to travel the galaxy and not have to pay for it.  She's a bit of a penny pincher and only seems to splurge on frivilous items, like fashionable clothes and tasty exotic food.  Zil'costa is also very friendly, especially toward alien lifeforms she considers cute.  She absolutely loves being able to meet so many weird species and races and her friendliness isn't always appreciated, especially when it involves her coiling around someone in her form of a hug as it's more likely to crack ribs than express her friendliness.

When it does come to fulfilling her duty as a soldier for her planet she does so quickly, and effectively, if only to get things over and done with so she can go back to lazing around.  In battle she is quick, decisive, and usually rather ruthless at accomplishing her goals.  If it's easier to kill a target than take it captive, and there's no specifics on whether or not a capture is required, she'll go for an easy kill nearly every time.  She is rather conservative with causing collateral damage though, taking care to avoid civilian casualties or property damage.

Habits/Hobbies
During her free time Zil'costa can usually be found exploring her surroundings on new alien worlds.  She absolutely loves shopping for clothes and sampling the local foods, especially if the local foods are served hot!  She also has a habit of coiling around people or creatures she takes a particular fondness of, sometimes causing great discomfort for her them as her 'hugs' can cause damage without her really meaning to do so.  She's also happy to try out new games and ways to 'waste' time, and would much rather play games or watch a movie than go out on patrol.

«««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»»

Family Members: Zar'costa ( Father ) Mii'costa ( Mother )
Place of Origin:  Serpentor Prime ( Homeworld )
History  Zil'costa had a rather average childhood on her home planet.  Her parents were kind and supportive of her, even if they did scold her for being a bit on the lazy side as she'd often sneak off from her chores or training to go lounge around in the warm sands of the nearest beach.  It was obvious from a young age that she loved to go out and explore, slithering this way and that in search of new ways to goof off.  Yet despite her tendency to slack, when she actually buckled down and tried to do something she didn't quit until the task was finished... and she hated to repeat a task as having to do something over seemed to be the only real waste of time to her.

Eventually all of this led to her wanting to join her planet's military, mostly as the slogans about seeing the galaxy and exploring new worlds really seemed to excite her.  She excelled in her training and her superiors found that she had a small genetic mutation that caused her venom to be even more potent than others of her race.  They trained her to use this gift like any other weapon and decided to place her in their version of an exploratory force.  Of course this type of assignment meant more freedom on her part, but also meant she had to pass a rather dangerous test... mainly bonding with a memory crystal.  Zil'costa accepted the test and passed with flying colors, keeping her newly earned crystal as a tiara most of the time to show it off.  Her training complete she was issued a 'babble stone' to help her communicate with alien life and sent out to explore the galaxy on behalf of the Serpentor.

Is there anything else that her acid can't eat through? And maybe give a couple time frames for how long it takes to eat through some common things like steel or titanium?

"can easily withstand most small arms fire"

So, this is a little vague. Some small guns shoot way harder than other small guns. Could we put a number on this? Maybe 3 tons?
