«««SKILL SET»»»

Powers
-Physiology - Being a dragon grants several obvious benefits.  The first is the ability to fly with his magnificent wings.  He can take off from a standstill and ascend straight up and is capable of flying up to eighty miles per hour at full speed and keeping up that speed for several hours before needing to rest.  The next is an impressive durability that comes from the armored scales covering his body.  The scales are incredibly hard and able to deflect non-enchanted weapons with ease, taking up to five tons of force without cracking.  Dahak's horns and claws are harder than diamonds, giving him some rather formidable weaponry when in melee combat especially considering his natural strength as a dragon.  Dragons are ageless beings, unable to die from aging and seem to stop aging physically once they reach their peak of physical power.    Dahak is also capable of turning from a humanoid, bipedal, winged dragon form into his full sized dragon form.  When in full dragon form he is more comfortable using his limbs like a quadruped with wings, but is fully capable of still using his forearms as he normally does his arms when in humanoid form.  As one might imagine his combat ability is greatly enhanced when he is in full blown dragon mode.  Dragon Senses.  Dragons have enhanced senses and are able to focus them even more than other races with enhanced senses.  Some think this is just a natural ability of all dragons, but in reality it is a type of training that dragons hone their entire lives.  By channeling their in a more direct manner, dragons trained in this method can enhance one sense at a time to an incredible degree.  Since this is an activated use however they do need to know to enhance a sense ahead of time.  One sense that is always enhanced however is the dragon's sense of smell, but only to a few particular things... magic, precious metals, and gems.

-Power one:  Prismatic elemental, Fire!  While most dragons have access to a single breath weapon, usually fire, Dahak has access to all the elements... or at least he used to.  Dahak the Destroyer can change his elemental form, due to being a Prismatic dragon.  Due to some magical shenanigans during his botched banishment ritual he has lost most of his elemental abilities.  He did manage to hang onto his most iconic form, that of his red scaled form.  In this form he can breath fire that is intense enough to melt metal and rock within moments, reducing most enemies who don't have some form of fire protection to mere ashes or molten slag.  This was his favored method of destroying armies in the open.  Of course in his red scaled form he is also immune to heat as well, no matter how intense it is.

-Power two:  Prismatic elemental, Lightning!  The other elemental form that Dahak managed to retain was another of his favorites.  In this purple scaled form he is able to harness and control electricity, blasting out devastating blasts of lightning from his mouth with the sound of thunder behind each blast.  While in this form he is also immune to any electrical attacks, including the cliche 'short circuit' of being soaked in water.  Since he's immune to all electricity in this form that would only electrify the water, making him even more dangerous in this form.

Skills
-Dahak was once known to have one of the most melodious bass voices in all of dragonkind, making him a wonderful singer when the mood takes him.  When in Fire elemental form he has also been known to create some of the most elaborate and stunning smoke designs you'd ever see.  Dahak is also very eloquent and well spoken most of the time, able to charm and persuade with his honeyed words.

Physical Weaknesses
-Elemental weakness.  When taking an elemental form, he gains all the weaknesses that element would have.  Fire can be quenched by water, snuffed out with earth.  Lightning can be insulated against with use of anything that doesn't conduct electricity, mostly earth based attacks or even that odd modern discovery of rubber.  Another weakness is his need to devour metal and gemstones to keep his scales and claws strong.  If he goes too long without eating metal (any will do, but he prefers precious metals) his scales begin to grow soft and may even eventually flake off as if he's shedding.  Dahak is also unable to transform into his full size in enclosed spaces, so he needs room to grow to his full size or risks injuring himself as his body is quite a bit more malleable and vulnerable during transformation where even wooden parts of house might pierce his hide as he grows.

Mental Weaknesses
-Dahak may hold a veneer of charm and civility, but it's just that... a thin mask for his true nature.  Dahak has a rather explosive temper when triggered, and will usually go into a blind rage until the object of his hatred has been utterly destroyed.  During this rage he will become very focused, practically tunnel visioned, and ignore his own well being just to get at the target of his ire... which can lead to him running right into a trap or worse. Another flaw of character is his disregard for the abilities of others, scorning what he considers lesser beings and looking down on them so much that he finds it nearly incomprehensible that anyone could ever hurt, let alone, defeat him unless they were a dragon too.  This also makes him unable to trust any non-magical being.

Equipment
-Dahak sees no reason to keep useless items with him, though he does seem to have a magical and rather ornate loincloth that looks somewhat like a kilt with a strap to hook over his tail.  It appears on his humanoid form and vanishes when he turns into his full dragon form, somehow always managing to reappear once he transforms back to humanoid form. ( Can't very well have him being naked now can we? )

«««CEREBRAL PROFILE»»»

Personality
- Dahak seems quite cultured and civil when he speaks, but in reality it is just a mask for his intense hatred and distaste for all non-magical beings.  He especially despises humans and their allies for personal reasons.  To those he calls allies he is actually quite protective and true to his word, unless they betray him... then he shows no mercy.  Dahak holds a grudge like you wouldn't believe, extending that grudge to entire bloodlines or even species for the deeds done to him personally.

Dahak is cunning, cruel, and forceful.  Once he has set his sights on a goal he will do anything in his power to achieve that goal.  His anger is something to be feared, while it does blind his judgement to a degree it does seem to heighten his battle instincts.  A raging dragon is not something that many beings have claimed to have faced and live to tell the tale.

Likes
-  Gems, Precious metals, magical beings, other dragons, fine wine

Dislikes
-  Humans, non-magical beings, humans that do use magic, promise breakers

Habits/Hobbies
- Plotting, scheming, planning revenge, repressing horrible memories, and wine tasting

«««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»»

Family Members:  Wife:  Araneal (deceased).  Son:  Aaur'on (deceased)  Twin daughters:  Aeriel and Seline (deceased)
Place of Origin:  Kingdom of Rafeatel (an alternate Earth's Europe)
History  Dahak was once a noble dragon, trusted and respected across the land.  With his loving wife, the white dragon Araneal, he once saved the Kingdom of Rafeatel from invaders on many an occasion.  For his services to the kingdom all he asked for was a mountain to call his own, so that he could raise a family there.  The king agreed to this and gifted an entire mountain to Dahak and Araneal.  For this Dahak promised to protect the kingdom for as long as the kingdom continued to honor this agreement.

Many years passed, and true to his word Dahak proudly protected the kingdom.  He slew dangerous undead, corrupt sorcerers, and invading armies both human and demonic in nature.  His deeds were legend and the populace of Rafeatel loved him.  Eventually Dahak sired three dragonlings in his mountain home and started to raise his family.  It seemed that all was well in the world as far as Dahak was concerned.  However that changed drastically before long.

The king of Rafeatel, the great grandson of the king who had made the agreement with Dahak, took a wife.  The new queen fell ill and the distraught king sought a cure for the strange illness that was slowly killing his wife.  The court wizard, a greedy man by nature, informed the king that he could create a cure but required a mixture of fresh dragon blood and powdered dragon bones along with other rare ingredients.  The only known dragons were Dahak and his family, and the thought of harming any of them sickened the king... yet his wife meant more to him than his entire kingdom.  The king asked Dahak to fly to a distance region to seek out several of the rare ingredients the wizard had requested, but knew that a dragon would never willingly give it's blood and it's bones were of course too deep to take without permanently harming the dragon.  Dahak, seeing no harm in helping, took the mission to fly to the distant region even though his wife was still recovering from the recent hatching of their three offspring.  While he worried about his own wife, he was quite certain that she and the children were quite safe in their mountain home.

Once Dahak left the area the wizard moved his own plot forward.  He secretly wanted to take power himself and had been the one to poison the queen with a magical sickness.  His cure would work, however he wanted the entire kingdom as the price for saving the queen.  He wouldn't be leaving a dragon family loyal to the crown in place either, so he made a secret pact with a clan of dwarves who coveted the mountain Dahak resided in.  He'd worked with this dwarf clan in secret waiting for the perfect time to strike, and the dwarves to their credit burrowed under the mountain until they found the chamber where Dahak and his family resided.  With Dahak gone they attacked the dragons in their lair.  The weakened mother and young hatchlings were no match for a surprise attack from entire army of dwarves, all of the dragons were butchered and their bodies harvested for the wizard's own schemes.

When Dahak returned he first stopped at the royal castle to deliver the items he'd been sent to find, unaware that his family had been slaughtered while he was away.  When he returned to his home and found the butchery that had taken place there he went into a rage.  He thought the king had betrayed him to the dwarves, especially since a warband of dwarves had remained to ambush him.  Yet in his rage he killed them all before filling the entire mountain and it's many caves with a terrible poison from his breath... killing the entire dwarf clan.  That was not enough however, as the dwarves would never have been able to come near the mountain without help from the kingdom of Rafeatel itself!

In his rage, Dahak devastated everything in his path toward the capital city.  The king, confused as to why his life long ally had turned on him and begun to murder innocent villages, sent out his army to defeat the crazed dragon.  The wizard himself was surprised that the trap had failed to ensnare Dahak and made his own preparations to deal with the beast.

Dahak razed a path all the way to the capital, and obliterated the army sent to stop him.  Every man, woman, and child who came across his path was slaughtered like sheep... and Dahak came to despise the humans he'd once protected.  They'd all played him for a fool and murdered his family, so now he would take his revenge on them all!  The entire kingdom needed to die, no... all of humanity had to suffer for it treachery toward him and his family.  As unstoppable as a glacier he moved forward, crushing all opposition until he finally arrived at the capital city.  Dahak burned the castle to the ground and devoured the terrified royal family, king, queen, heirs, and all.  The court wizard managed to escape and contact another group of dragons however, pleading with them to help defeat the obviously insane Dahak.  These other dragons knew something was wrong, as Dahak had once been one of the most noble of their kind... he simply wouldn't turn on someone he'd made an oath to.  Yet, his new murderous ways could not be ignored... there was no excuse for his wanton destruction.  With heavy hearts they agreed to help stop Dahak.

Dahak continued to ravage the kingdom he'd once protected, scouring it of all humans and dwarves he could find... along with anyone or anything foolish enough to stand in his way.  When he eventually came across the band of dragons who were sent to stop him he was shocked with disbelief that his own kind would turn on him as well.  He told them of what had happened to his family, and the other dragons knew instantly that the wizard was the one who had betrayed Dahak.  They turned the wizard over to the still enraged Dahak, and the dragon crushed the life from the wizard with great relish.  Yet even having finally avenged his family he was not satisfied, he pleaded with the other dragons to join him in cleansing the world of the treacherous humans so that such a terrible fate would never befall another dragon family ever again.  They declined.

Confused and enraged at their refusal to join his genocide of the human race he lashed out at them, still mad with grief for his lost family.  The combined might of the other dragons finally managed to stop Dahak, but not without their own losses.  Even so they couldn't bring themselves to slay Dahak, instead they decided to imprison him until they could cure his madness.  During the ceremony to seal him away Dahak lashed out again, using all his strength he slew the leader of the dragons and disrupted the spell... changing it's intention.  Instead of sealing him it sent him hurtling through the very dimensional fabric that kept the various dimensions separated from one another.  He was sucked into the rift and the other dragons sealed the rift to repair the damage, unintentionally sending Dahak to a new version of the world he'd once called home.  A version where magic did not reign supreme, but where technology and humans were the rulers.  A version of the world that Dahak would instantly despise in his new quest to rid the planet of all human life.  To add insult to injury the one time master of all elements had found his powers reduced significantly, only retaining two form of his former majestic nature as a prismatic dragon... fire and lightning and his other forms apparently lost.

Good gosh! Is that the time? Time you were kicking our backsides to look at your latest application, Fox! Let's see what you got here.

[One review later]

I'm afraid we can't allow multiple elemental projections under one power. The weaknesses do not counterbalance what a boon they would be, seeing as each one is a power in and of itself. You will have to pick one and stick with it.

That said, your Dragon Senses are reasonable and would thus only count as a sub-power, so I could allow you two elemental breathes if you'd like.

Bump this thread after changes have been made to the app itself. If you have any questions, queries, witty retorts, explanations, counter-proposals, or just a good joke - feel free to PM me.

Whelp changed his powers to only two elemental forms now. Fire and Lightning, and I moved his dragon senses up to his subpowers of just being a dragon.
