Powers


Cosmokinesis - Despite not knowing where his powers came from he instinctively knows that his power of controlling cosmic energies exist. He can feel it’s thrum throughout all of reality like a heartbeat and can draw upon it. Making his body marks glow at the cosmic body flow out of his form. From his body takes the energy takes a wispy form that shows an constantly changing starscape within. Capable of performing a variety of attacks such as balls, beams, waves, bombs, breath, hand blasts, ect in a range of thirty yards with a TNT equivalent of 0.01 kilotons. It’s psi overpressure results in heavily built concrete buildings being severely damaged or demolished. Latter requires several blasts given the blast radius will only punch holes into the walls.


Cosmic Constructs - Solgaleo is able to mold his cosmic energies into tools, objects, weapons and other items. However given it requires a higher degree of control to be able to condense such vast energies into any given form his constructs are only somewhat durable. So constructing something complex like a machine or catapult is way out of his skill zone. What he can make is simple things such as platforms, whips, blades, ect. Capable of withstanding/holding a ton of force and it’s range is only limited to ten yards from him. Any weapon construct can deliver force of up to five tons.

Nigh Omniscience - When he is not forgetting things half the time he is very intelligent in his moments of clarity. In which he has approximate knowledge of many things such as Mythology, Astrology, History, Esoterica, Science, and among others. However this does not he has extreme knowledge just lesser things. Don't expect him to hold up technobabble talk with a sci-fi wiz.


Innate Multilingualism - Unbeknownst to himself Solgaleo is able to speak and understand many languages. However due to his current state there are words and symbols that he can't comprehend. Such as those written by cosmic or divine power. He also have a more harder time reading and speaking dead languages but still get a good grasp of it. He does not know languages written in secret societies or by seclusive races. Some alien languages are familiar to him but he can't seem to remember it.


Experienced Fighter -  Although subconsciously and on instinct Solgaleo is a well trained fighter. Taking on groups of goons with no problem but will have trouble staying his ground against an master.

Physical Weaknesses


Greenhorn - Solgaleo requires training to prevent many side-effects when channeling cosmic energies. Not to mention he has little to no experience for using his powers. This makes making constructs difficult.


Excessive Flow - For Cosmic Manipulation, Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of Solgaleo, and his power's natural limits. Because of his lack of control over his abilities he ether over exert or make duds, making him very fatigued if he fights only a short while.

Mental Weaknesses
Necrophobia - Solgaleo crippling fear of all things dead. Corpses and graveyards frighten him. In addition, the individual is incapable of actually killing somebody. He can still incapacitate them, however he will refuse to deal the finishing blow against another living creature.


Hemophobia - Solgaleo also has a deep psychological fear of blood in which he becomes faint and often passes out when seen in large quantities.


Amnesia - Solgaleo is very forgetful, whether it’s physical deficiencies or truama he does not know. His past is all one big have, for whenever he pushes through it Solgaleo gets false memories of things that did not happen, such as being a Zulu Warrior or a Chinese Philosopher. Others times he recall himself being an exotic creature he never seen before. His amnesia and false memories make his daily life difficult such as forgetting names, not knowing where he is at, and even what he just did a minute ago.


Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - Most likely linked to his Amnesia he has severe PTSD. From night terrors, Reliving the traumatic events as if it were happening again, Severe emotional distress or physical reactions that remind him of the event, subconsciously avoiding places, emotional fatigue, and a plethora of others.


Heaven’s Fall - Most of his traumatic events seem to be centered on any religious object or placed regardless of the subject of worship. Even if it's on screen he is incapable of looking at it without losing his stomach. Even demonic objects can make him sick. Whenever he enters a place of worship a strong smell of blood fills the air, so much so he can almost taste it. The longer he stays the smell will morph into an hallucination of a twisted version of the place, The center almost always have the corpse of the idol in a myriad of horrid displays from hanging from meat hooks to implement on crude spikes. At this point he passes out from shock, always falling to register the fact that each time he visit the same place, the idol is distinctly different each time as if they were different incantations. With objects he'll start to smell the blood again and gradually the world shift into a nightmarish version. Only this time there is no corpse, only the heavy red rainfall from the grey sky. Holy Water is also dangerous, only appearing as warm blood to him and given his fear of blood will go into shock whenever the water touches him.

Personality
Solgaleon is a fractured soul of gold, his Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder being the overall key factor of his mental health. It takes an effort to feel positive emotions, suddenly becomeing angry or irritable, hard time sleeping, trouble concentrating, fears for the safety of himself and others, feelings of shame, despair, or hopelessness, and difficulty controlling his emotions. While his golden heart shines dimly in the darkness of his mind it still shines. Bearing a strong moral compass and compassion for others. Under his withdrawn shell is a spirit of honor, valiantry, and chivalrousness. However he will need a lot of therapy to make his spirit come through clearer. During his many therapy lessons Solgaleo started Journaling to cope with his stress, upon the realization of enjoying the process of writing he started to get into writing in general and possibly make his own novel. He became a lover of literature, poetry, and philosophy.

In the fog that is his state of mind there is a period of clarity that feels so long ago. He was born in Egypt but not the Egypt he knows today. But rather Ancient Egypt, his parents both being renown scholars at the Library of Alexandria. Most of his childhood was within those walls. One day he strayed away from the confines of the city and wonder upon a half bury cave in the sands. Like any child he wandered into the cave in which he ventured down to a series of tunnel networks. His memory becomes hazy after this but he does recall finding something. There was a room that looked like shrine and something was on the floor, the shape showed a shifting starscape much like his power. It seemed to be moving slightly as if it was dying. His memory becoming more blank the closer he got to it and lost it all together when he was but a step away. After that is shapes and sounds. At first he felt wonder, joy, and love then over time the sense of dread came, then worry, pain, then full on blown terror and screams. Then the fake memories start to appear.


After that his memory becomes a bit better,the first being washed up the shore of the Nile at the age of fifteen. The following days wondering around the Egyptian cities confused attracted attention of the authorities who then turned him in to a mental health hospital who in turn sent him to a better equip one in the States. For the next two years he underwent various forms of therapy with the help of a Egyptian Psychiatric Dr. Thein. She was a compassionate women who took her clients health personally, when the Homefront Initiative was announced she saw this as a way to help Solgaleo find himself and learn about his powers. Reluctantly at first he warmed up to the idea and signed up for tryouts at Murakami High Schoo. While he now have a bit of freedom he is still required to attend his therapy appointments at least 3-4 times a week depending on his new schedule.

But there is a few things we need reassurance on" The slightly mechanical voice bounce off of the crisp white walls of the meeting room. The speaker was a cybernetic man who just placed down the twenty page medical report, his robotic red eye focus on the other inhabitant tin the room across the table, a female Egyptian Psychiatrist in professional attire. On either side of the cybernetic figure is four holographic projections of the other Titans who with their tight schedule with the JLA they simply cannot be at the meeting in person.

The hologram of a man in a black blue suit next to the speaker was the next to spoke with a hint of annoyance, "The report has brought up concerns of his mental stability and having him be among others his age is dangerous. Outbursts of anger, Irrational reasoning, and suicidal tendencies. Honestly Doctor in your professional opinion can you explain to me on how you deem him fit?" Dr. Thein took his jibe in stride and quickly replied in a even tone, "At his age he is currently undergoing maturity, if we were to postpone a later part in his life he will have a much harder time to adjust to outside life. By placing him in a social environment not only are we improving his social skills and his abilities but helping him heal. He has made several milestones over the weeks and has shown self restraint. " The man who spoke the question appeared to be weighing her statement in his mind, meanwhile the cloaked female next to him took the opportunity to give her own statement, "His soul is strong and his mind does appear to be healing, but I sensed something else," This drew the attention of the other members, Dr. Thein waved her hand as if to disregard the statement, "I am sure it was nothing, during tests his powers were known to show up in his brain scans." The cloaked women simply blink as if her train of thought was interrupted before giving a simple nod of acceptance. The man in the black-blue suit suddenly gave a sigh before folding his arms, "Very well, given there have been other hero's who dealt with mental illness I'll give the kid a chance, but let me make it very clear that whatever happens Ill make sure you pay for it." With that said he signed off the line, his projection wink away as it was shut down. The cybernetic male gave a sign before looking at Dr. Thein. "I thank you for coming to the meeting Dr. Thein, I have high hopes for the kid." Dr. Thein smiled and bid her thanks as she got up in which she said her goodbyes as she head out of the room, "There is always hope" She said to herself as she began to ponder on what the future will bring for her patient.

Cosmikinesis - I failed to understand your passage on psi over-pressure. Are you saying a single blast of his energy could topple a concrete building or just demolish a wall?

Cosmic Constructs - When you list tools and items, I would like to know how complex these constructs can get. Are we talking a hammer or a gun? Are these constructs just shapes or can they be machines?

Cosmic Constructs - You say he can surround himself in this energy in the flight section. Does this grant him 1 ton of durability? If so please specify it as a sub power.

Flight - At these speeds we would ask you to include some drawbacks. Previous apps with such speed usually can't use their other abilities when flying over 100mph. If you could include this then that would be great. Otherwise merely decrease his max flight speed.

Nigh Omniscience - If this is something granted by a cosmic awareness it needs to be a sub-power. However, I assume he gets this from some sort of forgotten history? You imply in the app that he is older than he seems? If so then instead I need you to choose five specialist subjects only and list only them. Each science would be its own individual subject (biology, physics, blah). Basically, if this isn't a power then he can't be an expert in everything. Just a lot of things. It is fine for him to have lesser knowledge of these subjects under the mundane section.

Longevity/Immortality - Longevity or Immortality would constitute a sub-power. I can see how this might be awkward for you since you appear to be trying to keep most of his history ambiguous. If he does indeed have one of those, tell me through pm. If not, then nothing need be done.

Your Sample RP uses canons (very well I might add) and we agree that you can do this. However, please understand that if someone eventually picks up one of these canons as their own, then they will have final say over whether anything in the Sample RP happened.
