PostSubject: An Armored Rivalry (Closed/ask)    Mon Dec 12, 2016 11:53 am

It was a quiet day in downtown Jump city. People laughed, the sun shone bright, and only a few puffy clouds drifted lazily through the sky. One man stood atop a skyscraper and surveyed it all. Here. He thought. Such a beautiful day. He smiled in a moment of uncharacteristic sentimentality. Here in this city of heroes shall my life’s work be tested.

The man turned back to what he’d just finished setting up before his little break. Something had been wired into the transmitter on top of the skyscraper. Jump was filled with heroes who would be ideal for his tests. However tracking any of them down wasn’t a task he felt compelled to tackle. Especially not when a simple scare could draw them to him. He didn’t spare the charred bodies near the doorway leading into the building a second glance: Unfortunate casualties of science.

He looked down at the high tech plates covering his body with father like pride. Today his work would be put to the test. All he needed now was to draw in the subjects. He plugged a hefty cable from the device on the transmitter into his suit. Once the fighting started, it wouldn't be necessary. As long as everything worked of course. But for now the extra power would serve him well.

There was one hero he hoped would show above the others. One who was the inspiration for his designs, but it mattered not if he showed. The armored hero could always be drawn out later. That being said, he would show. How could he not? This would be his forte - something he could could rapidly reach with plenty of room to fly around and fight. The man on the roof thought back to the first day he’d seen that work of art flying around and saving people. He’d punched straight through a supposedly impenetrable field that had covered the local football stadium. Such power! The magnificence was blinding. The man had wept, for he had found a goal: To become just as grossly incandescent. To surpass the technical prowess of even this indomitable hero. The man hoped his inspiration would show. What better way to prove his design than by using it to tear apart its inspiration?

He flipped several switches on a box installed on the transmitter, then smashed the box. Now his suit was the only thing that could stop what was to come. If he succeeded he didn’t want to get himself killed by his own bait, and if he failed the point was completely irrelevant. A high pitched whine filled the air as sparks flew from the transmitter. Next electricity began to arc, slowly at first but then more and more rapidly, from the transmitter. The sky above began to darken as near black clouds formed in a thick, foreboding mass above him. While these contained water it never fell, as it was vaporized before it could by the sheer amount of electricity building within the clouds. Jump City would see a dry thunderstorm today.

Lightning began to crackle as the mass of clouds built, before slamming down into the highest and closest source of metal: the modified transmitter. Power arced about the roof wildly, but what wasn’t wasted in the impressive display was drank by the suit the man wore, and systems began to come online as the suit continued to drink in the raw power. He preferred to be close to his work and eschewed a helmet, relying on a thick pair of goggles strapped over his eyes to avoid being blinded by the display around him as his stark white hair whipped wildly in the wind. Today was a beautiful day.

Lukas turned the bolt again and again, his muscles straining. He was a brilliant engineer, but even he made mistakes. The threads had become crossed and now the bolt was completely stuck. He wiped the sweat from his brow and sighed. He was about to give it another shot when his alarm began to sound. He pulled himself out from under his latest work and wiped his face with a rag before reading the display.

Something massive was happening downtown. By the look of it, it was taking the form of a severe electrical disturbance. He had to do a double take - it was massive enough to alter the charge in the air around it in a colossal scale. Someone was making their own storm. He had no idea what they were planning, but he knew one thing for sure: he would stop it.

He turned to face his alternate self, the gleaming warrior in stark contrast to the crippled scientist. His own inner thoughts mattered not now, only the lives being put in danger by whatever madman who dared to call a storm. Within moments, Riot soared through the sky on wings of fire, ready to brave the eye of the storm for the sake of the people of Jump.

As he arrived at the skyscraper, Riot saw something that gave him pause. A lone figure stood amongst the lightning, seemingly oblivious to the raw power dancing around him. What struck Riot with surprise was the attire that allowed such bravado: a mechanical suit of blue and silver and gold not unlike his own. There were several glaring differences however. This man wore no helmet, only a set of antiquated goggles that obscured a large portion of his face, allowing his stark white hair to flow free, like a blinding static infused mane. While Riot’s suit was massive and larger than life, this man’s suit, while still quite bulky, was far more form fitting and did nothing to add to his height. It’s main features were oversized gauntlets and a heavy semicircular generator in line with the man’s spine, lightning arcing from both.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? WHO ARE YOU, WHO WOULD ENDANGER THOSE AROUND YOU?” Riot then saw the bodies and frowned. “WHO WOULD KILL HIS FELLOW MAN?” Riot expected some grandstanding speech. What he got instead was much shorter. “It doesn’t matter who I am, only what I can accomplish. They say that you are an immovable object. I wonder what happens when you clash with an unstoppable force.

The sound of lighting ricocheting from an Nth metal tower shield resounded throughout the sky as Riot slammed into the roof and swung his shield into his opponent. The other man took the blow full in the chest and staggered back, the whining of his suit increasing. The man smiled. “It looks like my design is holding. Let’s see if we can’t make use of this extra power.” The man’s knuckles began venting out a steady stream of lightning as he swung a fist into Riot, who was taken by enough surprise to catch it in the ribcage.

Electricity surged and nearly overloaded his suit's ability to absorb it, sending him reeling. Riot fired his thrusters and slid back away from his opponent. He frowned. There were very few who could stand up to a shield bash from him, and fewer still who could follow that up with a blow that gave him pause. He began to wonder if he was over his head. Perhaps it was time to call for backup. He keyed in a code then pressed the activation stud within his helmet. His next words were broadcast on all short ranged radio channels as well as over a communications network being formed by another hero he'd already met. As he was only speaking within his helmet and not to the world outside, his normally booming voice was a much more standard volume and tone.

This is the vigilante known as Riot. I am calling any and all heroes nearby. I am currently engaged in combat at the epicenter of the storm. I require assistance. Keep a channel open for further communication.

"(Pleeeease)"

"(Pleeeease)"
"(NO!!)"

"(Mom what if that was me calling for help and the only one who could help meas grounded so I died!)" Jenny said a bit over dramatically as she said taking off her civilian clothes and pulled on her hero ones as her mother drove and while she tried to work around her cast. that covered her fore arm, elbow going up about halfway on her bicep. As he she pulled on her pants kicking a bit a she did so her mother signed "(Fine... but you're getting 3 more days on you're grounding for this.)" She pulled on her boots smirking "(Deal.)"

She pulled her hair back in a poney tail with her mothers help after she pulled over and put on her mask connecting to the hero communication set up as her voice was translated in a deeper pitch, with a perfect american accent and in English. "(This is Ao Bakuhatsu (It would translate the name to Blue Blast) I'm on my way, nice to meet you by the way.)" She said as she let lose her energy making her hair turn light blue and glow as she hopped out of the car and spoke out side of the communication to her mother.

"(Love you mom thanks I promise I won't die!)" She said running off with blasts for a few feet before swapping to her hover boots now that she had her speed and raced down to the location and skid to a stop seeing that they were up on the highest roof possible and muttered. "(And now i wish my sister was here to help me get up there....)" She then spoke over the communication link. "(So yeah it may take me a bit.... Cause... I can't fly yup there but I can get up there. Just don't die before I do okay?)"

She bounced on her toes and stretched a bit before running over to a short building and jumped onto a  dumpster besides it before sending out a blast from her feet to get up to the roof she then started to use her blasts to jump from roof top to the next highest roof top which would take about 30 seconds. Right before she was about to jump onto the main roof she hunched forward holding her knee to lean on it with her good arm and panted as the glow on her hair dimmed a bit as she spoke into the communication set up. "(I swear if you or him  jump off the roof making me have to go back down right now I will kill who ever did it first.)"

After her hair lit back up after her breather she saw the two of them and paused. "(My ****ing god..... yeah no we're going to need more back up....)" Even without her broken arm she would have a big hard time trying to keep up with people in suit set ups like that. She took a deep breath and launched herself over to the roof and stretched her legs a bit before jogging in place and raising her one good fist as she spoke not over the communication but her voice was now translated in the same manner as she rolled her head a bit getting ready for the fight. "(Alright time to break my other bones!)"

RPG character

Code Name: Wildfire
Villain or good guy?: Good

PostSubject: Re: An Armored Rivalry (Closed/ask)    Thu Dec 15, 2016 1:20 am

One thing Alond'r had not expected to see on this planet was a storm of this size. The way the electricity danced through the clouds, effortlessly creating a dazzling, but frightening, display. It did not appear natural at all, and the civilians looked intimidated if anything. That was when he deduced that this must have been something artifical -- and he had to find its creator. It looked capable of massive destruction, and he doubted that the city had any defenses to counteract such a dangerous disturbance. Through his communicator that Hotwire had given him, a voice came through the speakers. The voice was foreign to him, but he'd been told the location of where it was all going down, and that was all he needed. He squinted, green irises hovering over the sky until he found the area where most of the electricity had seemed to gather. Where there was more of the storm, was most likely where the source was located.

"I am Wildfire, and I will be arriving at your location very soon." Seconds later after he'd spoken into the communicator, another voice piped up. Apparently another person was on their way to help. A small smile etched into his facial expression as he started on his short journey to the skyscraper. But before he got there, there was one thing that hit him hard. The way the innocent had appeared. The ones who were not running seemed to stand there, petrified at the intimidating display before them. However, as soon as they caught sight of the alien, their expressions softened. Now they knew that they were not alone with this. He, along with other heroes, would do their best to protect them. They had a lot of people to rely on for their safety, to call on when everything seemed to be going wrong. They had guardians. It was time to honor his family's legacy and be Wildfire.

The same female voice from before relayed back through the communicator, announcing that it would take longer than expected to reach the location. Wildfire's first thought was to head to her location, and simply carry her up to the roof. However, as he neared the showdown, he'd seen a figure traversing rooves and ascending more as the seconds passed by. Assuming that was her, he continued on his path towards the skyscraper. Both of his arms were outstretched, hands balled into tightly-clenched fists. Whoever was creating a storm this massive had to be powerful, and that meant that it would most likely take a lot of effort to put them down. But there was confidence instilled in the prince, mainly because there were two others; he would be at their side, proving to be a formidable ally. He took in a deep breath as he propelled through the air, finally reaching the location of the intense battle.

When Wildfire arrived at the scene, he had to take in the appearance of the the two mecha-like beings. One was surrounded by the electricity that originated from the storm, whilst the other appeared to be more like a knight. There was also another figure -- the one from before. She wore a technological suit of black and blue, a plethora of cerulean hair tied back into a ponytail. Quite the beautiful sight. He descended from the air, lightly touching down at Riot's side. "Are you both alright, Riot and Blue Blast?" Sincerity coated Wildfire's tone as glowing, green orbs appeared to surround his hands. His eyes came to surge with torrid energy, willing to come out at any moment he wished. He raised one arm up, pointing one scorching starbolt directly at their foe. "Cease this storm, intruder." However, he somehow felt that things were not going to go the way he'd hoped.

Riot soared out of reach as a lightning blast tore through the air he'd been occupying just a moment before. He responded to the attack by firing a tirade of his specialized expanding foam rounds at the man on the roof. As they impacted they expanded, each to roughly the size of a softball. Ordinary humans would be trapped, and even the suit enhanced man on the roof seemed to be given pause as his hand was pinned to his chest.

I  had wondered just how to combat your little toys…” He said. “I even collected a few samples for study. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I found one way to get around their tensile strength?” Within moments, the hardened foam began to crack as electricity coursed through it. It crumbled to dust as the man wrenched his gauntlet free. Riot frowned for a moment before something pulled his attention away from the problem before him. Someone was answering his call. Before he could respond, another answered. It seemed that one of the responding heroes was far more talkative than the other, giving helpful advice on not dying before she arrived.

I could simply carry you either way.” He said into his headset. “I'd rather not be killed by a fellow hero.” He added, a trace of humor in his voice. As she arrived, she'd see Riot charge the man on the roof, slamming him with a shield bash that sent the man reeling. Riot didn't let him rally, and followed with a powerful right uppercut and a left hook meant to catch the man in the temple with his shield. Most people would have been dazed by the shield bash alone, let alone the uppercut, and would have taken the brunt of the second shield hit. This man recovered surprisingly quickly and ducked the final blow, landing a lightning infused blow to Riot’s ribcage and a second to his back as he sidestepped around the larger man, bringing the hero to one knee.

The whining increased yet again and the lightning coming from the man’s knuckles flashed and concentrated into a large triangular blade on each fist, each about a foot long, smaller arcs of electricity occasionally leaping from the blinding blades. The man swung both fists down, but Riot got his shield up in time and the two were locked together in a dazzling display of coursing energy. Riot grunted and managed to shove up and away with his shield, forcing the man back long enough for him to fire his thrusters and put some distance between them.

He spared Blue Blast a glance as she exclaimed that they'd need more backup. “You said it. Though we're going to have to make do with what we have.” He did a double take as her broken arm registered. “Can you fight like that?” Wildfire landed, and Riot gave the alien a nod. As Wildfire spoke, Riot noted the lack of an earpiece. That was going to make communication a problem.

Blue, I don't want this guy getting wind of what we're up to. So I'm going to have to rely on you for strategy. We'll clue Wildfire in if we can. Whoever this guy is, he's good. I'm almost positive that that suit of his is absorbing kinetic energy and transforming it into electric energy. I've been trying to hit his head in the hopes of knocking him out, but he's quick. But with all of us, we may have a chance.” Meanwhile, the man on the roof had begun to speak.

I'm impressed. Most material would be vaporized by these.” He held the crackling blades up for emphasis. “But then again, I suspect that shield of yours isn't most material, is it?” He smiled at Wildfire’s bravado. “And what are you? You look like a hero who once protected this city. I always wanted to dissect a Tamaranean. To see exactly what gives your kind such abilities.” His thin lips widened even more. “You want me to stop this storm? Why would I? The test is going so very well. I've learned so much already, and now that you two have come, there is so much more to learn.

With that, he lunged forward with surprising speed, swinging one blade at Riot to force him to block so that he could freely swing the other at Wildfire. For the moment, he seemed to favoring attacking the two stronger looking opponents, perhaps believing Blue Blast to be the least threatening.

Ooc: Note - When Riot speaks in this post, he isn't using the speaker on his helmet, so only Blue Blast can hear him unless Wildfire has his volume loud enough - in which case Riot would have switched channels or something so that the villain wouldn't be able to overhear any strategy they form. I can edit my post if need be to make that work.

Jenny looked over to see the guy named wildfire and smiled under her mask shrugging. "(If you mean over all then I sorta have a broken arm but if you mean okay to where we weren't hurt in our current battle then yes I'm totally fine. Also after the fight if were all still alive do you both want to sign my cast?)" She said part jokingly though she did actually pull out a sharpie showing it off before nodding to Riot "(But Yes I can still fight.)"

She then noticed Wildfire and smirked, so she wasn't the only glow stick on the roof. She though watched him fly over to the man with the lighting and stared for a moment before whispering to Riot. "(He knows that that guy didn't surrender to you and you're like far more intimidating right? Also Im so glad Im wearing rubber based stuff right now.... sorry about your metal suited luck.)" She teased before hearing that he needed a strategy from her and her eyes started to dart around to look over the situation and he would hear her muttering to herself.

"(tank, tank elemental, Ranger, dps/glass cannon.... tank matches tank elemental neutral ending. Ranger possibly takes down tank if they stay ranged but the elemental part gives a possible ranged aspect and along with his tanky **** make the attacks go down and ups his chance at winning. dps can only win if they beat the speed and the glass can only win if they can get in hits first... I can get the agero easily but there's a possibility that i'm not fast enough... blinding the tank limits the range ability of the tank elemental allowing the ranger the edge again...)"

She bobbed her head a bit thinking of her plan a bit and tried to weigh out the senerios. "(Well you match against him keeping him to focus on you like a good tank then I will come in from a blind spot and limit his vision and hearing using a move my old teammate used to do. Then Wild focuses on heavy ranged attacks to apply dps then you go in for the final blow if things work out well enough.)" She then jumped back as the man swung his blade at riot who blocked it and spoke into her communicator. "(Perfect, step one is ago! Time for lighting to met thunder thighs!)"

She declared As she ran at them with shocking speed using her blasts to increase it. She then let the last one shoot her up into the air as she curved her body and if all went well she would have her thigh against his neck on one side and her other half of her leg on the other as they tightly gripped it and then had her other leg infront of that legs shin to keep it locked in place as she hit a button on her ear plate and swiped her finger along the inside of it making music blare out from it as she then grabbed her hair and used her good arm to wrap it around his face to blind him and to use it to help herself stay on him. If this all worked she would shout out. "(Step two done! Which is Light-en-ing then mood!..... hey if we don't defeat him my puns will...)"

Wildfire was oblivious to the short conversation that had been occurring between Jenny and Riot, simply assuming that they were all just going to enter battle without a specific strategy. However, he felt as though that wasn't really wise on their part. Certainly, the foe was strong enough to take on Riot alone, so someone of that power was one to be reckoned with. If electricity was something that he was able to utilize, then they could maybe use something that counteracted it, or used it against him? The obvious solution to that would be water, but it would most likely take a good minute in order to retrieve a good supply in it, and with the power this figure possessed, a lot of destruction could be dealt within that time. It was too high a risk.

Blue Blast's voice flowed through his communicator, and he made sure to pay attention to her words. Apparently there was a plan after all. He was silent as he listened, making sure to keep it installed within his mind. Although he had no idea what a "dps" was, he could formulate the plan based off of her other sentences. Once Blue was in to blind the enemy, he would strike. The tamaranean prince narrowed his glowing eyes, clearly aggravated at the enemy's statements. "Not all of my kind possess these abilities. Only I." Suddenly, the figure was on him and Riot faster than he expected. He bent backwards, barely avoiding the swipe of the sharp blade. He is faster than I thought..

In the next moment, Blue Blast was suddenly on their enemy, her hair wrapped around his face to blind him. Starbolts flaring up with more intensity, Wildfire did not hesitate in throwing two of them towards the figure's torso whilst his sight was blocked.

Riot listened to the thoughts Blue Blast spouted off. To some, it would seem like unintelligible nonsense. It even took Riot a moment to realize what she was saying. “Interesting terminology. But I follow. Hopefully Wildfire can hit harder than me. I've only been making him stron-

Riot grunted as he blocked the sudden blow, electricity surging through his suit and threatening to overload his systems. It seemed Wildfire was able to dodge the blow, and Riot shoved the blade back, his teeth gritted. He still had only the most vague idea of the plan thanks to Blue Blast’s gamer speak. But it wasn't particularly hard for him to figure out on the fly as Blue Blast used the opening provided by the attack on Wildfire and himself to leap onto the lightning wreathed scientist.

The villain was caught by surprise and stumbled backwards. It seemed that he wasn't used to combat, as he grabbed at her arm and leg in an attempt to pull her off rather than merely stabbing at her with the electric blades on his fists. Wildfires blasts slammed into his torso and he stumbled back even more. The whining increased even further, and at this point hovered painfully at the upper edge of human hearing. As Blue Blast was pressed up against the suit, she would be able to feel a buzzing vibration begin to emanate from it. Anyone with superhuman hearing would also be able to pick up an extremely faint rattling sound that had begun to come from the semicircle on the villains back.

The scientist let out a grunt and swung a fist at Blue Blasts side in an attempt to impale her. “Impudent girl! Get off!” Meanwhile, the storm had reached its climax. Lightning began to strike the rooftop at random.

Riot spared a glance around. He could withstand a lightning blast or two, but it would hurt. Blue had some protection, but who knew if it was enough to withstand raw lighting for long. Wildfire had the least amount of protection against the random forks of lightning, and who knew how much his alien physiology would help if he was hit. It took Riot a fraction of a second to determine this, and his decision that followed needed no thought whatsoever. He was the only one who could reliability take a lightning blast.

He flew into the air, becoming the highest metal point save for the antenna, which had begun to glow white hot with the amount of electricity now coursing through it. Riot grunted as he was struck twice in succession, his thrusters misfiring momentarily as his suit overloaded. An idea formed in his mind as he struggled to keep his altitude and rose his shield to weather the next blow. What had started as a knee jerk decision to protect others developed into an idea that could win this battle.

Blue…” He spoke through his internal comms, his voice strained. “Get away from him… Get Wildfire to hit him again… Drive him back… Into me.” Riot drew a wide tipped sword from behind his shield and held it aloft as he hovered in the air above and behind the scientist. He let out a grunt as another bolt struck his blade, lightning arcing across his armor. Thanks to his heavy plate, he was still alive. But he would have to finish this in one blow if he was going to finish it at all. Despite the protection his suit offered, he had taken far more damage than he'd let the others realize.

"(Yeah sorry about the gamer lingo, but hopefully he can. I don't know how strong you are but a full powered attack from me may due some damage to him if i can get a good hit in. I was evaluated once to find out that max force i could counter in a fist fight once and i could counter someone who could lift 5-)"

Too late to continue for now it was time to fight! After she was on him and he was grabbing at her she started to do her best at swatting at his hands with her broke arm as she talked to him like a miss behaving dog. "(Hey, hey, noooo, nooo, bad boy!)" She then started to flick his nose the best she could through her hair as she kept her tight grip onto him. She then let go of her hair letting it fall as she charged up an energy blast making a bright blue aura form around her hand much like the aliens but was more shaped to her fist than into a circle.

She then swung at his fist making sure to perfectly aim it to make her fist match with his as she shouted out letting off a 3 ton force level of a blast from her fist to throw his fist away while his lighting blade laid over a few hairs thickness of air right above her forearm. "(It's rude to insult someone with a 3 syllable word!)" She then noticed the lighting and called out to wildfire then.

"(Lighting hits the highest points first! Stay out of the higher levels of highest from the roof!)" she warned him before looking at riot dumb founded as to why he was doing what he was doing especially after what she shouted but she hoped it was for a plan and not for funsies. She then heard Riots instructions and looked to wildfire. "(Riot has a plan, Catch and aim for the skies!)" She said trying not to give away any of the plan but still trying to hint to him where to aim the man, aka to riot who was in the skies.

She then quickly grabbed the mans hair as a handle as she charged up energy in her feet and with quick speeds unwrapped her legs and pressed her feet to his back. just as quickly as they were placed she let go of his hair and back flipped off him while firing off totally charged 5 ton blasts in to his back to try and shove him towards wild fire as she shot like a bullet off his back while doing a back flip. She landed crouched down to the ground with her hand on the ground gripping it as she slid backwards nearly coming to the edge of the roof. "(Note to self... don't do a full powered back flip off old people on a roof you could die by falling off again....)"

It seemed as though the plan was working perfectly. After Blue Blast temporarily obscured the male's vision, the blasts had hit their target spot on. A small grin etched into Wildfire's facial expression as he watched him stumble backwards. Suddenly there was a faint rattle that entered the air, easily being able to get picked up by his alien hearing. His red eyebrows became furrowed, descending as he watched their foe, to see what exactly was about to occur. The armor that their enemy possessed could have have many capabilities, ones that he did not know about. He would have to keep an open mind, especially since the foe was aware that he was a Tamaranean. The knowledge he might have had on Wildfire's race might have included its significant weaknesses.

His gaze ascended towards the electrical clouds of dancing lightning, which were now sparking and striking the roof in a spontaneous fashion. The storm had now reached its peak, and he was unsure of just how much power one strike of this artificial lightning had. His hands balled up into fists as his muscles tightened, body urging him to move before he would get struck by a random bolt of lightning. But the difficult process with that was his lack of knowledge of where it was going to happen. As far as he knew, if he moved, he might've moved directly in the line of an attack. His mind raced, so many thoughts rushing through, bumping into another, and eventually causing a blank. He stood still with wide eyes, gaze locked onto Riot as he did something unbelievable.

Riot was suddenly up high in the air, in the eye of the disturbance. His metal suit appeared as a conductor, but there was a mass amount of electricity traveling through it. Enduring that amount of pain and stress could not have been an easy task. Riot.. He began hovering off the ground, ready to go and attempt to ease his pain, when Blue Blast's voice was flowing through his communicator. So that was what Riot was up to. Smart plan. "I understand," He quickly responded to his comrade, facing in her direction. He cocked his fist back, readying himself. When their foe was sent towards him, he swung upwards, his knuckles digging into the male's abdomen. Due to the brute strength of the Tamaranean, he flew upwards, in Riot's direction.

Riot grunted as another surge of electricity coursed through him. Warning alerts kept cropping up on his HUD, but he ignored them and focused purely on the events unfolding below him. He watched as Blue Blast countered an attack and followed it with one of her own, sending the suited villain careening into the waiting Wildfire. He watched as Wildfire landed a tremendous blow. Bolt after bolt struck him, be he no longer noticed. Everything was happening in slow motion for him now. As their unnamed adversary arched through the air to meet him, Riot reversed the grip on his blade as his suit finally lost power. He plummeted like the 1200 lb slab of metal he was, his blade piercing the semicircle generator on the villain’s back. Then everything was lost in a wash of noise and light.

The scientist grunted as Blue Blast slammed something into his fist. The pressure she could exert was tremendous! Servos tore and sparks flew as the arm joint of his suit began to give way, his arm flinging wildly back down and away from the heroine. His containment field failed and the blade in that side fractured and shattered back into simple lighting which poured from his malfunctioning gauntlet in an endless torrent. He was already forming a hypothesis on what allowed this Blue Blast to wield such power. Oh, to be able to take her apart and see what made her tick. He didn't have much time to think, however as she flipped back just as he tried another swipe with his other hand. Her feet made contact with his back and the coin dropped. He knew exactly what these fools were planned. But it was far too late to stop it. He'd been ignoring the steady warning alarm ringing in his ear, signaling that his suit was at dangerously high power levels. But now it was finally time to heed them. He'd collected enough data. He bit down on a hidden switch built into the inside of his suits high collar and pulled. He closed his eyes. It really was a beautiful day.

When Riot pierced the generator, a massive shockwave of blinding energy was released, accompanied by a deafening roar. The transmitter tower was ripped to shreds, the pieces hurled from the roof. When the light cleared, and vision returned to those still present, the storm had died and the dark clouds that had made it were beginning to dissipate. Scattered pieces of the suit the unknown man had been wearing littered the roof. Riot’s helmet lay smoking on the ground near a large hole in the retaining wall that ran around the edge of the roof, as if something very large had been thrown through it. Upon inspection, a similar hole could be seen in the wall of the neighboring building. Riot's large sword was embedded in the ground of the roof, it's handle sticking almost straight up in the air. Anyone who tried to pull it out would find it extremely heavy - far more so than it looked. The scientist and Riot were nowhere to be seen. The chest piece of the suit was the largest surviving piece of the villain’s gear, and a red light slowly faded on and off next to a silver button on the inside, as if beckoning for it to be pushed.

Jenny watched with a grin as wildfire on cue hit the man into the sky makign her cheer out. "(Nicely done Wild that was so cool man!)" She then turned her head away at the flash and held her ears a bit as the roar came out. She peered over a bit as the light faded She looked around for riot only to see his helmet and a hole in a wall.

She got up and walked over picking it up. "(I swear... if hes dead... i'll find his soul... and slap it so hard he comes back to life so i can kill him...)" She said looking at the helmet in her hands. She then spotted his sword and looked from it to the holes then to wild fire. "(Think you can pick it up? i doubt I can, i actually don't have super strength or anything so i dont think i could carry it.... that and we should find Riot so he can get these back... he'll want them.... since i wont allow him to be dead after all...)'

She said actually worried for the hero since he had seemed like a nice guy who would have just sacrificed him self for others which meant he was a really good guy so it would be horrible if he was dead. Jenny being too focused on trying to get to riot didnt notice the other scrap as she peered into the big hole and if needed due to darkness she would hit the button on her mask to turn night vision on to try and spot him.

Whatever Riot did, it was significant. There was an exposure of blinding energy, where Wildfire had to both look away and close his eyes, due to the plethora of light. When he'd opened his eyes, there was a look of surprise embedded within his facial expression. The aftermath of the battle was absolutely awful. The transmitter tower was no more, having been decimated by the shockwave that originated from the generator. There was debris everywhere, and both Riot and their foe was nowhere in sight. A small bit of relief poured through him when he'd seen that Blue was alright, jogging over in her direction. In her hands was Riot's helmet -- it came off? During the explosion of energy? That could not have been a good sign.

His green irises landed on the great sword that impaled the roof. He walked over to it, gripping it with both hands. Grunting, he managed to lift the sword from its position, however he could feel the immense weight of the blade. It was difficult to hold it properly, but he was able to lean it over his shoulder, keeping both hands on the hilt of the blade. "I am..able to carry it." He spoke slowly, trying not to waste too much breath on talking, since he'd need it to keep up this impressive feat of strength. He followed after Blue, waiting to see if she could spot him in the enveloping darkness that rested in the huge hole. Hopefully Riot was alright

Thankfully, it appeared that the building had been abandoned as the fight had first broken out. Desks and chairs and cubicles were shattered and strewn across the room as the middle of it had been cleared via blunt force trauma. There, at the far end, in the darkness of the shattered room, lay Riot. His armor was faintly smoking and he wasn't moving. He'd caved in the wall slightly when he'd landed, and was currently laying in a half seated half slumped position with his upper back against the wall and his legs splayed out on the floor. Despite the damage it had taken, the armor looked mostly intact. There were no obvious breaches or even dents, though the paint had taken quite a beating. Without his helmet, the face of the man who piloted the massive suit was wreathed in the surrounding metal. His skin was pale, and his face was tall and slightly thin, with a pointed chin and prominent cheekbones. His golden hair flowed across his collar, tied in a ponytail at the base of his skull. A thin line of blood ran from the corner of his mouth, and his eyes were closed. The smell of cooked flesh and sweat was heavy in the air.

Darkness. All around him was darkness. Not just his sight, but everything. Every sensation was cast in murky darkness, like he was floating in an abyss. His thoughts felt just as muddled, as if he were hearing the thoughts of another man. That's right… I was fighting… Someone. Others… Were there… That means… I'm not Lukas. I'm Riot. The instant the thought hit him, he was no longer floating. He was entombed. Trapped in a titanium sarcophagus. Choking in the airless atmosphere of his musty tomb, he frantically clawed at the sides, the front, the back, the top, anything within reach. Panic set in as he pounded on the walls, but each blow merely caused them to close tighter. Tighter. Tighter. Like a caged animal, Lukas thrashed furiously. If he could just take a breath. One breath. He forced his chest to expand with all of his might. Sweet cold air rushed into his lungs, along with something hot and wet.

Riot suddenly snapped awake, taking a massive breath. He'd had a mouthful of blood when he'd done so, and inhaled a lot of it. He gagged at the unexpected sensation and coughed violently, spraying the collar and breastplate of his armor with thick strands of bright blood. Curiously, only his head moved when he'd done so. Still somewhat hazy, Riot went to wipe his face. But nothing happened. He looked around as best he could and saw Blue Blast and Wildfire. He frowned when he saw Blue Blast holding his helmet. That wasn't good. He tried to wipe his face again. Once again, nothing happened. Realization dawned on him in a cold spike that ran down his spine. His battery must have been fried. Maybe it was a good thing his helmet was off after all.

He craned his head as far down as he could in the awkward position he was in, but the bulk of his armor prevented him from seeing his waist from where he was. He looked back to the others. Now that his eyes were open, it was apparent that he had a very strange eye color for a human: his irises were a soft golden color, nearly matching his hair. When he first spoke, his voice was raspy, but it quickly cleared up. “Good, neither of you were hurt. I… Need a hand. There should be a small case about the size of a small tablet on my right side, near my waist. Is it undamaged?” Assuming either of them looked, it would be easy to find and was indeed undamaged. It could be removed with a simple set of clasps.

Jenny nodded when wlid said he could carry it "(Good, thanks.)" She said a bit distracted as she spotted Riot knocked out. "(I see him!)" She nodded to the hole where Riot was to tel him to follow her as she raced over to Riot. She Gently placed his helmet on his lap as she clicked the side of her mask making the panels covering her mouth retract to show her mouth the bottom of her nose and the end of a slash like scar by the edge of were her mask covered her cheek.

She then used her teeth to pull off her good arms glove and held the beck of her palm by his mouth for a few moments before muttering in Japanese that was now not translated and she spoke in a more younger sounding voice. "(Okay he's breathing good hes alive.)" She then tried to run though what to do medically wise next in her head but stopped mid thought as she saw riot wake up.

"(Riot!)" She said his name but it too was the Japanese equivalent word for Riot, 'Bōdō' Rather than Riot. She then pulled her glove back on with her teeth and clicked her mouth cover back over so he could understand her as he replied to him worrying about them with a. "(Of course we're okay you're the one who was shocked to what could have been thought as death not us!)" She then though looked for his tablet and Pulled it out for him "(Yeah it's just fine but be honest, do you need medical assistance?)" She asked seriously her voice sounding just like it did before sounding older and in a bit of a deeper tone.

Relief flooded through Wildfire when Blue Blast announced that she had spotted Riot. After doing something that dangerous, it would be a miracle that he was still alive and healthy. All one could do was hope his condition was better than expected. He follow Blue Blast, keeping the sword in a stationary position upon his shoulder. His green irises flickered to Blue's face as the bottom panels of her mask came apart, to reveal some of her face. He tilted his head to the side, examining her for a moment, before flicking his gaze back to the unconscious Riot. He allowed the sword to slide down his arm, before the tip of the blade rested on the ground. Leaning on it, he continued watching, hoping that their comrade would wake up. He had to -- he couldn't just leave them like that. Hero or not, they needed him.

Then, Riot did. The crimson blood that he coughed up urged a wince into Wildfire's facial expression. "It is good to see you alive, Riot." A relieved smile curled on his lips as he respectfully nodded to the brute. Regarding the tablet, he watched Blue fish for it, before speaking up again, "Are you aware of that figure's identity, or were you as oblivious as I?" Whoever they faced possessed a vast amount of power, and their capabilities were something that he didn't even want to think about. For now, they were gone, but what if they returned? Then what would the plan be? A sigh ran past his lips as he awaited Riot's reply, mind racing at a mile-a-minute.

OOC: Sorry for lateness/had the flu! If it's too short, don't hesitate to let me know!
