Power
Access to the Spire- Nathaniel is one of the few members of the Xeno Corp. A group that maintains, investigates and manages the balance between man, magic, and technology. This group catalogs and stores all this information related to their mission into a space within another dimension known as the Spire. The Spire holds all information related to the various creatures/fauna of earth, their customs, and all ritualistic magic on the planet. The Spire serves to alert Xeno Corp members of supernatural incidents within their jurisdiction. Nathaniel has the ability to transport himself mentally to the Spire and access this information and debrief himself of supernatural incidents.

• What this means is that Nathaniel will have access to any knowledge of any creature that has made any reasonable impression on earth (i.e a crater, or knocking out someone). Though this is not all-knowing knowledge, the information he would have access to would be based on observations. So if an alien crash landed on earth it wouldn't recorded if no one saw it or no one noticed the change in landscape. Though it may be documented as a small earthquake if a nearby town feels it. Even then he would still have to make the trip to the Spire to gain this information in the first place.

Physical Weaknesses
- Even with the access to the Spire, Nathaniel is no more special than your average human. The only thing different between him and the average man is that he is just able to gather more information easier than the average human.

- When entering the Spire, Nathaniel's body is pretty much helpless. As his mind is the only thing able to make the trip to other people it will just seem as if Nate has lost consciousness.

-Nathaniel is restricted by the laws of Xeno Corp and the laws of Man. Due to this he refuses to murder or commit crimes otherwise considered illegal outside of the necessary force.

- Nate is limited to the amount of info he can access based on his current situation. He has to have an idea of what he wants to know about. General information about an idea is easily accessible when he has an idea and can be quickly extracted from the Spire. Yet specifics have to be hunted for in the Spire and can take anywhere from an hour to a day.

Mental Weaknesses
- Nate cares a lot for his family. To the point where he is willing to compromise his own mission for his families safety. Going as far as to betray his own comrades and even hurt himself to ensure their lives.

- Nate has no powers but believes that with the spire he is on par with heroes. This hubris of his leads him to put himself in danger believing that with the spire's knowledge he will be alright.



Personality
Nate is a man that believes that good will triumph over evil. All it needs is a little push. This was his motivation to become a cop. He wanted to be the man to bring the good to wherever he was assigned. He also believes that not everyone his inherently evil just either misguided or damaged. While most would think that he would be kind to those who have done wrong Nate does the opposite. He administers what he would call "tough love" by throwing the book at the perps as hard as legally possible in order for them to turn over a new leaf. If they do, once they do their time.. he won't ever see them again. If not... Looks like their face is gonna have the words "The Rule of Law by Tom Bingham" imprinted on their forehead.

Around the civilians he is kind of the normal beat cop. He is kind to the kids and the old ladies. He is tough and stern to the impressionable youths. Around the precinct he tends to be the sarcastic ass that gets a chuckle and a laugh every here and then. He is pretty much the average guy. Though one thing that causes him stress, is not his job but his little brother and the heroes that run around Jump. He constantly complains and dotes on his brother and those pesky heroes. Doesn't help that his brother is trying to join those heroes but that's another story for another time.

Finally as a member of the Xeno , Nathaniel takes the job very seriously. In his spare time he tends to investigate any strange occurrences within the city. Not only that he is the closest thing to law enforcement for magical creatures and the like so it seems like his job is never done. Thankfully Nate is a workaholic. Had it not been for his brother coming to Jump with him needing to be looked after, Nate would never leave his job... either one.

History
Nathaniel was born to two loving parents. His father was a cop and his mother was a writer. At a young age, Nate was a curious child. He was always getting into trouble by poking his head into the wrong thing. Curiosity was his fatal flaw as a kid and it almost cost him his life. As a young boy around the age of 13 he decided to play investigator with the wrong person. He happened to walk on a drug deal and barely escaped with a knife in his arm and a cut in his stomach. After a trip to the hospital he met his little brother for the first time.

Nate and Brian weren't related by blood. Brian was adopted. It was pretty obvious seeing that their skin color was different with Brian's skin being two shades darker. Not only that Brian's hair was oddly straight compared to Nate's curly hair. So when Nate asked his parents what was going on there were very few reasons they could give the boy coming straight out of the hospital. Once explained that his father took Brian in after an event that happened at his job, Nate simply accepted it and went about his life.

A year later, Nate made the decision that he wanted to be a cop, well more specifically a detective like his dad. So he began to prepare himself. He began to work out, learn more about the law, and began preparing to join the military. Once he turned 18 he joined the army, went to college through it, and at the age of 22 joined the police academy after graduating. It only took half a year for him to become a cop and once he had, he was approached by his father.

This was his first trip into the Spire. Once he entered there his father explained that due to his skills he was chosen to enter the Xeno Corp as a agent. At first Nate was confused. From what his father said, the Xeno Corp were basically supernatural cops. A secret society spanning from generations to generations. Their ranks ranged from medics to barbers, from vampire slayers to storm chaser. They exist to keep an eye on the supernaturals and to protect both sides from killing each other. Policing the supernatural in ways that superheroes can't. Once he was accepted he would spend the next 4 years training with his father. At the end of his training he was transferred to the Jump City Precinct under and older member as a mentor. Jump City was a bit stranger than most, the supernaturals the called that place home were either really powerful and plentiful. Due to this there was a need for more agents to keep the peace.
