The landscape of Jump has gone through many shifts over it's existence. From a crime infested coast city in need of heroes, to a secure haven and home to the first team of Teen Titans. Time has evolved the structure of the city immensely.
Time goes on for everything, though. With the state of the world changing and the number of Meta-Humans rising, the heroes that had sworn to protect Jump City have been called to bigger and better things. The Watchtower, a massive satellite structure that orbits Earth and is it's greatest defense against extraterrestrial threats; better known as the headquarters of the powerful Justice League.
With the Teen Titans being called up to the Justice League, there was worry that time would prove too much for the newly defenseless Jump City. This concern brought along the first ever mass call to arms the Titans have ever launched: Homefront Initiative.
With this, the original team of Titans are calling upon heroes from all corners of the Earth to gather in Jump City to carry on the sacred duty of the Titans. Tryouts for the new team are being planned, but with all the attention on Jump City there's bound to be more than a few evil doers provoked by the challenge of a new team.
Moreover, to help prepare future generations for the day they will be called on to protect the weak a new class was started in the Murakami High School. It's not been officially announced, so the goals of the mysterious members of class B-101 are ambiguous. Rumors have it that the class was designed to train up and coming heroes to handle themselves.
