Powers:

The Virtue: Kindness!

After having been released from Heaven, God gifted the lady Bow with becoming the new aspect of Kindness. With this new role, she was also entrusted with an addition to her original power set as well as enhancements to each of them.

- Silver Lining:With this new power, Bow is able to influence the decisions of others by imbuing them with a positive outlook on life. Through physical contact, she can instill in someone images of what might happen if they were to go through with whatever action they are about to perform. For example, if someone were about to rob a bank, Bow could touch them and instantly instill in them a sense of integrity. She would be able to show them that they weren't just stealing from the rich and greedy, but also for those that work hard for each penny they earn. They would see flashes of families unable to eat because they weren't able to get the money they needed.

However, their decision is still their own to make. She can not force someone to listen to the images she's feeding them. Just as people can ignore their conscience, they can also disregard her.

-Healing: Sends a purifying and strengthening power coursing through the veins of those whom she is healing. It takes her a minute to heal minor wounds. Three to heal major wounds. Five to heal fatal wounds. However! She can exponentially increase the effectiveness of her healing with almost fatal consequences to her own health. Basically she could kill herself to save another. This power is the most dangerous because she has not even learned much about it yet. Any time she heals another, it lowers her own body's functions. She can use it to heal herself, but the penalty will be just as grave as the benefits.

Elemental Control/Manipulation!

Happiness brings light:

Bow's joy allows her to bring light into a room of darkness. She can radiate this light in an aura with a radius of 10 feet in all directions. She can also condense this incredible source of light to a 2 in ball that explodes on impact when thrown. It does not actually hurt. It only is meant to cause alarm or surprise. She can throw this orb about the length of a baseball, so 300 ft.

Passion burns bright:

Bow's anger and passions fuels the fire that runs through her veins. She can harness this power in a variety of beautiful displays ranging anywhere from the simple fire ball to a whip. The temperature for this power can be harnessed at an intense flamethrower. Again, because this orb is practically weightless, she can throw it to a length of 1,000 ft and her whip can be up to 30 ft in length.

Love flies high:

Simply put, she can fly at speeds up to 1,000 mph and can use this power with or without her angel wings. At top speeds, she can fly for about 5 hours. At half speed it's 10 hours. At quarter speeds it's 20 hours.

- She also has five years of gymnastics background. She can do a cartwheel, roundoff, front hand spring, back hand spring, roundoff back hand spring, and a standing or running back/front flip.

- Thanks to her time spent with Kyte, she now has enough martial arts experience to defend herself against most people with the same amount of training as her or less.

- Empathetic towards people to be able to tell when someone needs help. And is self-trained in the way of psychology and therapy.

Physical Weaknesses:

- Even though she is an aspect of virtue and technically still a heavenly being, because she chose to return to her human form, she is still physically as weak and vulnerable as a human being.

- Her healing power is a double edged sword.

- Her fire power is dangerous to her body if used too much.

Mental Weaknesses:

- She is a pacifist at heart and will do everything in her power to end conflicts without violence. She will literally allow herself to be turned into a bloody pulp before she actually uses any offensive abilities.

She is the incarnation of emotion. Every feeling is magnified by ten in her body and that is what makes her powers so exquisite. Rain feels nothing shallowly. All of her emotions have extreme depth and that is why she can connect with people so quickly and feel attached to them even if she shouldn't. Her fascination and curiosity also plays a factor in that. If something catches her attention, she will drop almost everything else to figure it out, or them out. Her main objective in life is to become a bridge that will connect everyone in the world so the coexistence between all will be achieved. And that desire is the pushing force behind every move she makes.

Also, it should be pointed out that because the girl is the embodiment of emotions and that is what her powers are fueled on, she can sometimes have them spiral out of control. Almost never in a detrimental way, but it is worth noting that this is the reason why she will sometimes have lights turn on at random or a cloud over her head.

History:

Before she was even thought of, Rain's parents were hippies from the get go. They were born in the seventies and raised by the leader's of the Peace and Love Coalition, or PLC for short. They were raised in the heart of New York City and stayed there as they raised Rain.

When Rain's dad, John, found out he was infertile after about a year of trying to conceive Bow, they went to his boss and friend, Mal. He instantly agreed, John was his best friend and he was happy to give him a child. After much debate, they all decided to get a three bedroom duplex in a nice area right outside of NYC. That way they could all live together to raise Rain. However, that wouldn't last long.

They decided on the name Rain on the day of their move as it was raining outside, but cozy and warm in their new home. They were in the hospital within the month. After the birth of the beautifully strange child, Summer and John decided a baby was too much work for them and up and left in the middle of the night, leaving Mal alone with their child.

Despite that fact, Rain grew up in a loving home. Her father fed her formula to take away her powers, considering she was half Ixoran, but when her parents left them, he decided against it and stopped concealing her powers from her. (This is why she doesn't have the force field like Mal.) At 8 months she was walking. At 10 months she spoke her first word, "love". Her first birthday came around and she was surrounded by adults and she held a conversation like a two year old, many people thought she was turning three.

When she actually did turn three, her parents showed back up at their house. Summer and John took back the baby that "belonged to them" and legally, there was nothing Mal could do to stop them. Bow screamed and screamed for days until one day, she just seemed to forget it all. Her mind was programmed to reset from tragedy. This was her first Dissociative Fugue.

She didn't go to pre-k and instead her parents taught her morals and to be free and keep in touch with herself and never to do anything she would be ashamed of later in life. She was taught to love everyone and look for the good in the darkest of souls. It seemed that even with the rough start, they would actually make good parents for her.

In Kindergarten she was bullied because of her clothes and hair and because she was too smart and she smiled constantly. She thought the boys were just kidding until one of them pushed her down and kicked sand in her face. That was the first time she ever cried since Mal. She came home and asked her Mom why he would do that and this is what she said. "Rainbow Magic, we cannot ask ourselves why others do what they do. They are creations of their own environment. They have had things happen that you and I can only try to imagine. When someone bullies you remember they are not hurting you, they are hurting whoever has hurt them in the past. You are innocent, but if you show them kindness maybe they will pause in the future when they are about to harm someone else."

From that point forward, she always smiled when something bad happened to her. She grew into her own skin and made friends easily. She always had at least 20 or more people come to her birthday parties and always made time to spend with friends. She went through First grade with ease. Second was simple to her.

In Third grade things started to change. When she got excited a light bulb would turn on. When she got tired a faucet would leak. Fire would burn brighter when she was angry. And when little Kyle Miller asked her out she levitated for about five seconds. The real madness happened on her 9th birthday. Her best friend from kindergarten, Peggy, told her she was moving and she couldn't handle it. So many emotions were expelled at one time it created a small tornado in their backyard. Her Mom finally got through to her and she stopped, but not before everyone had already left. They rushed to the hospital and there the doctor's explained everything they could, but even they did not know exactly what was happening to her.

They decided to let her stay home from school for two days, but then Rain wanted to go back so they let her. The first week back was difficult. Children kept giving her odd looks and ran away when she got near. She tried to continue to smile, but one day she was finished. She went to the far edge of the playground and cried. The boy who in kindergarten pushed her down came up to her and asked her what was wrong. She couldn't stop crying but held on to him as if her life depended on it. He knew what was wrong and comforted her. After Recess was over Rain smiled and said thank you. He said the words that she thought would never leave her, "No, thank you. If it weren't for you being so kind to me back then, I would not be the person I am so proud to be now." This altered her perspective and made her appreciate who she was. She stopped crying and went back to being her bubbly self. After a couple days kids finally realized she was still the one they all knew and loved and she got her friends back. She soared through the rest of elementary school. She made friends and started to try and control her powers by suppressing them.

In Middle School she actually had to train to keep her powers in line. She managed to keep up with school, friends, and her powers fairly well. Though she now only had a few close friends that she actually spent time with and cared about. She still stayed in contact with the little boy.

She went to a different high school than most of her friends, but to her that just meant she needed to make new friends! She joined the Drama Troupe and was a Freshman star. She loved to perform in front of people and act like someone she was not. She had it figured out that she was going to grow up to be an actress. She also got into all different genres of music. She loved everything from classical to Screamo, Gospel to rap, Country to Pop, and all that was in between. Her favorite genre though was 80's pop.

Her Sophomore year was going great too, until she turned 16. She had a skating rink party with all 80's music and it was dress up. The party was fabulous, but then on the ride home she realized her parents had left early. When she got home she wanted answers only to find when she walked in the door they were to be undisturbed. She couldn't believe they were doing it on her birthday! Really!? She was furious. On top of that she discovered at her party that her "best friend" had stolen her crush of four years and she totally knew Rain had a crush on him and then she had the audacity to make out right in front of Rain!? She couldn't control her anger and sent a fire ball straight into her parents' bedroom. They didn't make it out and she almost didn't. She passed out from all of it and a "fireman", Kardus, pulled her out of the burning house.

Two days later, she woke up in the hospital with no memory of her life. She didn't even know her name. The doctor came in and told her all the basic information of only her physical description. As friends came they all had tears in their eyes which she didn't understand. She knew they were hiding something from her but she didn't know what. Finally a doctor came in and told her that her parents had been killed tragically in an accidental fire and she barely made it. Bow cried for a long time. It was only thinks to the reappearance of Mal that she made it through, but he chose to keep his identity a secret from her for a while longer, not wanting to cause her even more confusion.

Her friends tried to get her to remember but she couldn't. They took her to their favorite sites. They listened to her favorite songs. Read her her favorite books. After a while she remembered some of the motor memory skills she had. She remembered her personality and had deja vu moments when smelling something or saying something, but that was as far as it went.

After about two months, she moved to Jump City Where she found a new apartment, as she walked through the door, a laptop was laying on the foot of the bed with a note that read "Dear Rain Bow, You will never be alone." And that was it. Inside there was a site already set up for her to do what she wanted. A video blog documenting all the wonderfully skilled heroes and villains. Her vision to unite everyone in sight. She smiled and hugged the laptop and then got the best sleep she'd had in months.

She stayed in her new apartment for about a week before remembering what a friend said she always said, " love everyone and look for the good in the darkest of souls". She decided to get off her butt, suck it up, and move on with her life.
