Steam, Gears, and Mana.(sign ups)

For a long, long time...the realm of Yeithera had aught but magic,both good...and bad. But, as sentients are wont to do, the inhabitants of this world eventually made technology.This technology was...simplistic, running upon steam and clockwork. Over time, though, even though the source never completely changed, it grew, it advanced. Armor powered by steam, capable of crushing stone with ease, clockwork guns, capable of a tremendous amount of gunfire,so long as they have ammo...And, Magitech...The fusion of sceince, and age old wisdom. These three things drive the societies of Yeithera on,so they can grow, build, and live. But, not all is roses. As you can expect in such a realm, there are things...things waiting in the dark...But, who says you have to encounter them, right? This is your story. Will you be a Paladin, working with the police to catch thugs and villians, and also fighing against the things that dwell in the shadows? Or will you be a thief, using trick here, spell there to line your pockets. Or maybe you'll be a mage, or healer, or even engineer? Or maybe something else entirely? Let's see what you'll be, shall we?

4. You can be any fantasy race you wish,(human, elf, dwarf, kitsune, etc etc.), so long as it's reasonable. Basically, so long as it's not a things that's unbeatable, go for it.^^

Looks:Red hair and green eyes. He's built wiry, and wears semitypical Paladin gear, though of high quality. His lower area is clad in tough boots(with mystical symbols carved into them) and pants, both dark brown, and on the top he's clad in a long, robe like coat, the colors being (very) light grey and blue, decorated in holy symbols. .Over that he wears a Paladin Breastplate, with the symbol of his profession on one side of the chest, and the symbol of his family on the other side.
Weapons and Armor:2 foot yataghan sword,high quality clockwork, 6 shot revolver. Activating the clockwork allows him to empty it's cartridge in machine gun style fashion. Paladin breast plate
Other gear:1 pair of 7 League boots, which enhance his speed. When travelling, he has a grappling hook with rope, 3 torches, sacred writings, 2 packets of emergency rations. Boots are on his feet, and most of rest is in his pack,except his torches,which are stowed safely in the saddle bags of his horse until he needs them.
Personality: He is brave, kind, loyal, and protective, as befitting paladins and others who serve the Light.However, he also has a tad of a temper, and tends to rush headlong into things,especially if someone is in danger or he's been riled. He's a tad naive, and not yet what you would call expereinced,despite the training he's received. He's also easily flustered around girls,especially if they're being nice to him.
Skills and Abilities: Trained well in using his yataghan, and a decent enough shot with his revolver,though no master yet in either. Is also trained a little in feildcraft, enough to track a criminal or beastie for a while, and can survive for some time from the line. Has also learnt prayers and blessed spells at the Academy,but only the basic,at the moment.
History:Was born a single child,though when he left for training his baby sibling was on the way.His father is descended from a long line of Paladins, as is he, and he happily took up the profession,wishing to help protect others. The boy was trained by his dad,but sent to the Academy to increase and refine his knowledge.He's been there ever since.

Looks:Short and slight frame. Hair is short,messy, and pitch black.Eyes are a bright,brilliant red, which are often hidden behind goggles when in public elsewhere other then his family's county.Wears quality, high class clothing when being "Young Lord Corvin",(though he does try to protest this to his parents from time to time),but when relaxing wears much more casual clothing.
Weapons and Armor:Other then what he creates with his shadow/darkness, a small steel dagger.
Other gear:Unknown atm.
Personality: He's shy and somewhat hesitant around new people,though he tries to cover this up by acting cool and distant.Once you get past that,he's playful, happy, and a tad cheeky, and loves hearing about adventurers, and would like to go on one of his own someday.
Skills and Abilities:Umbramancery: Has magic passed down from his mother that can control shadows and darkness. Using this,he can make contructs(armor, weapons, and 'shadow puppets'), and can also use it to teleport short distances, though he needs to step into the core of a shadow,and can only teleport to another shadow. Has some skill in using the unique,sythe shaped staff his mother prefers in using, and is agile and fast, as befitting his size and weight.
History:A young lord once met a lady, who had eyes like fire, and hair like midnight, having come into the county he looked over. This lady was from somewhere she preferred not to discuss, and was distant and stern. But, the lord was eager,nevertheless, to attempt to court her,having seen something beyond that. And,he was,as you might guess,right, and succeeded. Despite the misgivings of the citizens, they married, the young lord stunning them even further by taking his new wife's name. Overtime, despite her eyes and magic, the people grew to respect,and even like, her, though there are still some bad apples running around. Then eventually, they had a son, who'd inherited his mother's hair and eyes, though he'd also inherited his fathers shortness and slightness.The boy was happy,and outgoing,though he ran into some of those earlier mentioned bad apples,who despised the 'evil' magic he was capable of.Nothing was exchanged more then words, and they were firmly reprimanded, but it influenced him, and he became shy and hesitant around new people, eventually covering it up by acting like his mother when she's in Lady Umbrai mode.Still, he grew up some, and is relatively well liked by the citizens.
