The Rematch (HB)

Toji rolls hiss eyes."Wasn't me who said that...That was Decatiu....you know, the Archdemon? Seems he considers me his pup, so of course he'd be poed. But, that was a low blow, especially considering you have the power to fight me fair. The halfling takes a step, lightning flashing around him, and them with a puff of air he's suddenly before Dar. He stares up into the Sin's eyes, his own calm, then kneels. Dar could easily kill this woman...and there were other heroes...."I'll be chasing you from the afterlife."

( Not that I want Toji killed. That's just what he'd say,lol.^^)

Decatiu? Dar was not familiar with that name, but it explained Toji's more powerful state. He had sold himself to a monster in exchange for power. He even admitted that Decatiu saw him as his property. Dar couldn't help but find this hilarious, and it showed.

Toji used that blurring technique again to close the distance between him and Dar. He stared at Dar defiantly before kneeling. A wide smile spread across Dar's face.

"Low blow or not, it doesn't matter in the end, does it? Here you kneel. This is your reality, Toji Okami. You shall die by my hand. It does not make you weak. It does not make me strong. It simply is."

If Dar wanted to, he could easily cut off Toji's head. But he didn't.

After a pause, Dar stabbed his sword into the cement. He then rested his hand on Toji's shoulder. "There. You are now dead, Toji Okami. Chase me in the afterlife if you will, but as long as I live, you will no longer interfere with my affairs."

To kill Toji would certainly bring the full strength of the Teen Titans against Dar. Such a conflict would be...inconvenient at this delicate time. Toji had defied him, and had been put in his place. Now Toji would have to remember this defeat every day for the rest of his life. That was enough to satisfy Pride.

Dar removed his sword from the street and walked away, moving towards the long suit case he had dropped. He replaced his sword, brushed some hair out of his face, and resumed waiting for Daniel.

Toji blinks. Dar.....spared him?Oooh, that jerk...He was tempted to take him out while his back was turned, but the halfling knew he didn't have enough power at the moment. Still...."Blahblahblah....Just like I gotta acknowledge you outmaneuvered me on this round, so do you on the fact you had to drag innocents into it to beat me." the boy stands up, picking the woman up. It would probably be best to take her to the hospital."Consider this, Pride...either you actually needed to, or you were just lazy. Either way, you're not as perfect as you think." Toji snorts." Me? I havent enough pride to particular care about losing. Had it beat out of me. I may have lost, but there's others, and you can bet I'll be after you after I've regained my strength and brushed up my techniques. But,for now, see ya, old man." He blurs away,exiting the scene. He may have lost,but hell keep fighting...
