Kitty's First Day (B-Team!)

Seems that Fen's guess about the girl being a neko was spot on. This training was off to a bright start, Fen thought. Surrounded by people he knew nothing about and the little one morphed into a kitten. If any of this new frustrated him, he didn't show it. Instead, stepped to the middle of the crowd to get a look at the kitten.

"Maybe she can't turn back? That could be what ya work on today. Findin' out how to turn back. That don't sound so scary now, does it? At least you can get some training in. In no time you'll be able to go back and forth on your own." He did his best to try to soothe the kitten, but honestly he wasn't good at being reassuring so he ended up backing up and scratching the back of his head.

"My name's Fenrir, and I got claws. I can only ever get em out when I'm mad though."

Though he still didn't exactly like admitting out loud that he wasn't really in control of his powers in front of people, he figured it'd make it easier for other people to open up... right?

Amber could tell just by looking at her face that Emily really didn't want to do this, she was so stressed out that she involuntarily activated her power, which was to... shrink? Amber went over to see what was going on and heard... a meow? Amber squealed embarrassingly loud and barely restrainer herself to not run over and hug her, she just loved cats. She ignored everyone else as she just couldn't contain herself.

The kitten felt suffocated as all the people surrounded her. She tried to stay away in her clothes, but the quiet girl that she had met picked her up anyway. Emily meowed sadly within her arms and tried to squirm out of them without exposing her form. The idea to hide even when already completely revealed seemed idiotic even to her, especially when around people like her. That had powers they couldn't yet control.

She knew the boy was right and that she shouldn't be scared, but she still was. Her ears laid flat on her head and she whimpered within her hideaway. It wasn't working. The clothes finally fell off of her and she was left there looking at all of them in her kitten body.

Then Fenrir came to look at her and she tried to hide again, but he was right. She meowed in agreement that she couldn't change back, and she had no idea how to even try. When she was just about ready to actually stay in the open though, Amber came along and the kitten went wide eyed with fear. When she was scooped up, the little kitten meowed and tried to get to either Fenrir or Hikari again.

Cats made quick judgements of people. She just couldn't help herself.

Titus blinks as Amber picks the girl/cat up." Um...I..don't know if she..wants picked up..." The crowd was starting to get to him, as well. He didn't take being surrounded by people he didn't know much well...Alright, Titus, help her then you can step back...Seeing how she was trying to get to either Fen or Hikari, the boy gently takes Emily out of Ambers arms, offering sincere apologies to both of them, cradling the kitten in his hands.His ever present shades slip down as he looks down at her, revealing gentle, kind green eyes." S-sorry...I thought perhaps you wanted to get back to someone who w-wasnt a h-hugger.." The wall former seems to shrink somewhat, just knowing he was being stared at. He walks over to the two, and holds her out." U-uhm....ma-maybe she'll be more comfortable with you two..,"

OOC: Well Amber said she restrained herself from running over and hugging Emily, so she never left Hikari's arms. So let's just act like that didn't happen. xD

BIC: Hikari held onto Emily dutifully, stroking her head gently to calm her. However, Emily was moving a little and caught Hikari off guard. Titus ran over and helped her steady before Hikari nodded in thanks, letting everyone's words encourage Emily as she pet her to help her calm down.

"Fenrir is right. We can work on your abilities today. We don't mind."

She continued stroking Emily to calm her.

Fenrir was happy to hear someone say he was right. It was always a nice feeling. "Now the real question is... how do we practice an ability like that? I guess if you changed to a kitten when you got scared... maybe you have to calm down to change back?"

He mused aloud. He honestly was stuck to guessing, but the kitten seemed too frightened to try to guess for herself. So maybe throwing out some ideas wouldn't be such a bad idea anyway? Something had to work eventually.

"Or maybe you have to get scared again to change again... I don't know."

When the clothes came off and Emily's kitten form could properly be seen, Amber actually jumped in joy when she saw her, she was so happy she squeaked like a mouse completely involuntarily. She realised that she wasn't being helpful, but she doesn't really care about helping people, she just cared about the kitty!
