Naomi's good mood immediately died when she watched the kid start fiddling with his arm. Right, here she was, adopting the enemy and then taking them to get icecream. There was still too much she didn't know about this kid. Getting carried away like this was going to get her killed one day. Learning how to be a kid would have to wait. She should have first made sure he wasn't a threat. This was a serious breach of code. Dax was going to have her a(zz) for this.

Leela, sensing Naomi's down take in mood, flattened her ears and brushed up against Naomi's leg. Absentmindedly, Naomi reached down and gathered the bunny into her lap, tracing the flower button on its back.

"Not much what Titus?"

Titus looks up with a smile, before sensing his new watchers change in mood. He seems to shrink slightly, and responds." M-my energy...Its about low.." He fiddles with the spoon." Uhm...I got eat..a lot..or I fall asleep for awhile while I recharge...last time was three days.." He winces,remembering that. Master had gotten annoyed, and cut off a majority of his supply, until he shut down.

Naomi watched the boy shrink into his seat. Titus was emotionally sensitive to his surroundings. That was a good sign. Maybe Dax wouldn't kill her after all. He had done the same thing once upon a time as well.

"Then you had better finish what's left. When we get back to my place there's bound to be something more nutricious that somebody left behind."

Titus nods, finishing up. So far,he'd decided that the mint and chocolate was his favorite, though the chocolate cheese cake wasn't too far behind.He stands up, a smile coming onto his face, until he looks at the girl. She still seemed upset..His smile fading slightly, he holds out his hand, remembering her instructions.

Naomi smiled when she saw Titus hold out his had to her. Even though she was the one that had told him to do so, it was adorable when he reached out like that. It reminded her of- Hmmm, better not to think about that. But it did remind her of a faster way to get home. She picked up Leela and deposited the rabbit bot in the bag. The she knelt down to the floor to where she was Titus's height jerked a thumb over her shoulder.

"Hop on my back kid. You're riding home in style."

Titus blinks as Naomi smiles. She didn't seem that upset anymore...He blinks as she tells him to hop onto her back, and hestiantky nods, doing so and wrapping his legs around her waist as he holds into her shoulders. Surprisingly, despite the limbs, he woukd be rather light,indicating that his limbsnwere no regular material.

Naomi registered Titus's weight. As she had thought before, this kid wasn't just human. If he was cyborg, he was majourly modified. She would ask when there were no prying eyes or greedy ears waiting around. Making sure that her bag was secure on her shoulder and Leela was safely inside, Naomi waved to the cashier in thanks. Not every day someone allowed business with a Daemon. Most had misconceptions of them being the boogey men.

Once out of the store, Naomi took in a deep breath to focus herself. Then she went to a quiet place in her mind, the one that made her feel like she could do anything. It centered her. And then, she broke out into a whirlwind burst of speed that sent papers on the street and the loose ends of skirts flying. Her mind blankly registered walls and obstacles as she vaulted, flipped, and skirted up the sides of buildings and rooftops. In this state, she was lost to time. But even so when her front door suddenly appeared and arms length away after free-falling off her neighbors rooftop, she felt it had all ended too soon. Those were the only moments her mind was free.

The building in front was flat to the ground, seemingly a normal home. It was well kept and made of a smooth wall of blue-gray stone. A quaint navy blue door and shuttered windows off the the sides made this the perfect non-descript house. Even old fashioned considering the majour advances in technology since this style was popular. No one would give it a second look other than to scorn. No one could really guess that there were dozens of floors carved out underground that gave the Daemon's lodging, training, and labs for their operations.

She blew out a wistful sigh and lowered to the ground again so Titus could comfortably detach himself from her back. Her mind came back from its happy place. Now all she could think was that she really hoped Dax and the rest weren't home.

Titus waves goodbye at the shopkeeper as she walks out, then blinks as she breathes, seeming to change in stance...Then, she's off. His eyes widening at her speed, the boys grip tightens, and he at first burys his face into her back. Then, he relaxes slightly, looking up and around. They arrive at her home, and Titus carefully gets off, glancing around curiously.

Naomi rose back to her full height when Titus got off. Her limbs felt free again. She took her rabbit out of the bag and set her on the ground.

"Leela, please open the door. I'm tired."

The little pink rabbit chirped and hopped over to a section of stone to the right of the door. A small panel disguised as stone slid open, and Leela inched her face up a mere centimetere away from it. The screen that the panel revealed scanned Leela in a blue light and Leela scanned the panel in her yellow light. After the two had exchanged the neccessary code information, the door clicked and Naomi swung it open.

She entered, keeping the door open for Titus and Leela to follow. The first room was very basic. Normal, everyday furniture, lackluster paint and design. Nothing to huff at. Leela hopped ahead of Naomi and led them to the back of the first floor, all of which was as unimpressively normal as the rest. Again, a small panel slid open and the screen revealed swapped information with Leela. This time the entire wall slid away, revealing a small cylinder elevator-esque pod. Naomi scooped up Leela again and waved Titus over.

"This way, if the door closes before you get here I'm not coming back up until after my nap." She joked.

Titus blinks as the rabbit opens the door. As Naomi holds the door open, he walks inside, his metal feet tinking against the concrete,glancing around the room. Then, he blinks in surprise as a wall slides aside. When Naomi jokes he might get stuck up there, he hurries over, standing beside her nervously.

Naomi looked down at Titus. The kid was tighter than diamond with nerves. Dax would eat the poor guy alive if he didn't learn to let some things go. That was only if Naomi actually could convince him to let her keep Titus alive.

"Titus," Naomi laid a hand on his shoulder, "people can feel when your nervous. It makes them nervous too. Nothing bad is going to happen to you if I can help it."

Titus looks up into Naomi's eyes, then nods,relaxing. She was safe..she was nice. If she said no one was going to hurt him, he'll trust her. It was a bit overwhelming, all this new stuff, but it'll be fine..He sighs, leaning against the wall of the pod as it begins to descend.

The pod soundlessly finished its descent and the glass door that closed the pod slid to the side. In front of them was the sparring room. A large sparring mat was spread out in the middle of the room. Shooting simulations, punching bags and small coding and surveillance terminals were sprawled out on the rest of the floor. It was well lit, and although it smelled like the sweat after a good workout, for Naomi it was home.

A few of the people training cast them sideways glances of interest. A couple snickered on seeing what Naomi had done. Others gave surprised grunts. Naomi ignored them all and put both of her hands on Titus's shoulders. She steered him like that to the side of the training room into another, smaller, room made out of the same metallic walls and floors. In it a very large man in black armour waited.

"Dax." Naomi's tone dissapointed, "Your home."

Dax turned around and grinned upon seeing Naomi. Then his eyes found Titus and he frowned.

"You brought it home?"

"Yep. And before you say anything. Talk with the kid for two minutes and tell me he's a legit Ripper."

Dax sighed and shot Naomi a pointed glare. She held both her hands up in sarcastic surrender. Dax sighed cast his head up to the ceiling as if to ask, 'why god why?' and heaved an exasperated sigh.

"We don't bring targets home Naomi."

"You did." She countered.

Dax paused. "Fair enough. C'mere whelp. You better hope she's right about you."

Titus glances around the training r watching in curiosity. Though he shrinks slightly as a few snickered, he stays calm and relaxed,mostly thanks to Naomi's hands on his shoulders.They enter the smaller room, and Titus's eyes widen as he sees Dax.The young geared whispers to Naomi,though he didn't manage to regulate it below ear level." He's big." He gulps as they argue over them. When Dax tells him to come closer, he glances at Naomi, then breathes, stepping closer and staring up at the(compared to him) gaint.

Dax eyed this kid. It wasn't like her to bring something home. Naomi was more rutheless than any of them when it came to a job. He cursed. Best to get this over with.

"Ask him what a playground is." Naomi shouted.

"Da(ng) it Naomi! Shut up. If you were smart you would have killed this boy on sight."

"If you were smart you wouldn't provoke me."

Dax was silent. He decided to humour her.

"Alright kid. What's a playground then?"
