===POWERS===
Powers: Artistic Manipulation, that is, the ability to make drawings and sketches come to fruition in reality. At the moment her affinity with this power is limited, and she can only use this when drawing inanimate objects* on post it notes and paper similar to the size of regular printer paper.
Once created, these constructs can last for only 5 minutes, but are slightly more durable than the paper they were drawn on, but marginally, so close to 5% more durable. They are to scale to the paper they were drawn on, and the summon can be cancelled by ripping the paper that the object was summoned on. If the drawing gets messed up, it simply appears that way when summoned. This may affect the performance of the construct, however.
*The only exception to this is when Artemis obsesses over her past difficulties with being bullied in middle school. Elaborated on in weaknesses.
Skills:- Artistically talented (obviously)
- Deep thinker
Weaknesses:The weaknesses of Artistic Manipulation will be iterated and reiterated here.
- Can only summon drawn inanimate objects, they are to scale of the sketch on the page, and the constructs are made of paper.
- Can only summon from paper up to the size of regular printer paper, 8x11.
- Constructs only last for 5 minutes. The summon can be cancelled prematurely by ripping or shredding the paper it was summoned from.
- Cannot summon drawn people or humans, technically. There is an exception to this, however plot-based, whenever she tries, they turn into her bullies from middle school, acting as vessels that make her relive her past trauma. They are of no benefit to her or those around her, and strangely these constructs do not disappear prematurely when the paper they were drawn on is destroyed.
Equipment: A backpack, outfitted with a sketchbook, pencils, ink pens, erasers, watercolour pencils, a sharpener, and a smartphone.
===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===
Personality: Introverted and shy, Artemis has had very few friends throughout middle school and into the first year of high school. She often keeps to herself and has some difficulty making friends, this is due to some trust issues. She often sees things differently than everyone else and keeps an introspective frame of mind.
Strengths:- Introspective
- Artistic
- Intelligent
- Intuitive
Interests/Habits:Artemis loves to sketch still life and portraits. While her portraits are rough and scribbly, her still life art is accurate, her strong suit and is where her powers stem from. Art is her stress reliever and her meditation.
===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===
Family Members: Larissa Artis (Mother) Jonathon Artis (Father)
Place of Origin: Jump City
History: Artemis Artis has lived in Jump City her whole life as a citizen living with her family. She was an only child with her parents and had a relatively normal life. That is, until her 13th birthday, when she discovered that her still-life passions were coming to life for several minutes or so before disappearing. She would start to doodle in class on her notes, and soon, a couple of bullies noticed her power and started making fun of her. Even though supers are extremely common in Jump City, Artemis was made fun of for having a power that seemed so weak. This caused her self-confidence to drop, and her abilities with her powers to diminish.
Luckily, her parents were very supportive of their daughter's gift, and when word of the B-Team came about, they encouraged her to apply to join. Now, as a new member of the B-Team, Artemis aims to develop her powers again, and gain self-confidence through making a difference in Jump City in any way she can.
