| One thing I *LOVED* about the MMORPG City of Heroes was its archetype system. Every hero can be classified in these terms (rather loosely!)
Archetypes: Tankers are characterized by, you guessed it, sheer moxxy and toughness (Cyborg!)
Scrappers are characterized by highly developed combat skill (Robin! Beast Boy!)
Blasters are defined by their ranged and melee offensive wrath, but not so much by their ability to take a hit (Starfire!)
Controllers are characterized by potent abilities to support their team and weaken their foes, but usually little 'combat skill' to speak of (Martian Manhunter)
Defenders are characterized by potent support powers to protect their team, and decent combat power to back them up. (Raven)
Brutes live for the fray, and as the fight wears on they only get angrier... A balance of 'tanking' and 'scrapping (The Hulk)
Masterminds may or may not have powers, but they are defined by their use of elaborate plots, devilish devices, and/or armies of minions (Lex Luthor, Slade)
So! Based on this stuff, how would you classify YOUR characters, and their rogues?

For me, so far I'd say:
Sophie / The Furious Galvora is a Brute - she's really tough and pretty dangerous in a scrap, but get her mad enough and she could get hairy - and then *sunglasses* the fur will fly! Beware of girl!
Laura Wainwright / Flux is a Defender I think - she's not the best fighter out there but she can certainly put up a good scrap and her abilities are well suited to supporting her amigos!
Edyth Lostetter / Deadlock is a Tanker supreme in the Deadlock mechsuit, and out of it she's a scrapper with pleanty of destructive power, but not much staying power.
Flux/Galvora's rogues! Arguille Amici / Chaos is a Mastermind - He can hold his own, but his real strength comes from his use of his powers to create minions, his elaborate schemes, his hired goons, and the support he gets as the Black King of the Amici family.
Doctor Alina Utkin / Toxicity is a Mastermind, using her powers to create deadly drugs for the myriad gangs addicted to them and the thugs in her employ, while also proving to be a deadly threat in her own right with her toxic powers.

| Blake, Tex, and Ravager are all Scrappers
Yang is a Brute, easily. Kind of invincible against certain enemies.
And Izzy...probably a cross between Defender and Controller since she was a Star Sapphire (Violet Lantern)

| Sounds good.
Hugh Exley/Pix is a mastermind - you had him at elaborate, always working some ulterior angle.
Vernon Antis/Scapegoat is a defender - his ability to exchange places makes for an impressive bodyguard.
Caesar/Monkey C is a mastermind - minions aplenty, many a goal on the go, rarely has to scrap.
Onyekachi/Kishi is a brute? - not certain about this one, but Onyekachi packs a wallop and is definitely first into the fray.

| Hotwire: Controller. He's the best definition of this. If his opponents have a big scary robot, he can shut it down. Doomsday weaponry is no biggie for him, because he can control it.
Steampunk: Mastermind. He runs a criminal group with plans to revert the world back to an age of steam... he's got to be a decent enough planner.
Hotwire's Rogues:
Yarnmaster: He's a mixture of Mastermind and Controller. He can upkeep his minions and subdue his enemies with his constructs, while he does very little fighting himself.
Yarnmaster. | |

| JaK & Elysium - Scrappers. Both are highly trained and skilled.
Spider-Girl - Mastermind. While having powers, she beat most enemies by combining powers and gadgets
Ben 10 - Tanker! - Has an alien for every situation. Hard to beat a guy like that.
Teen Lantern - Blaster or Defender. TL Brings the artillery power in the form or blue constructs bombarding you.
Kale Salem AKA Brave - Brute.
Although, JaK could fit the brute category too. As the fight goes on they do too.
