Powers:

Augen Physiology - Anthonidas hails from the far off planet/kingdom of Aeia and receives the special traits associated with his people. Augens can live up to three hundred years of age but mature at the same rate as humans.

Heightened Strength and Durability - Although the Augens are thought to be one of the more physically strong races, Anthonidas is considered particularly strong even among his people. He can lift one ton by himself at most. Anthonidas can break through stone and metal with considerable ease and can also take quite a beating. Falling from considerable heights is no problem and his skin is resistant to bullets although he does feel pain.

Slayer - When an Augen defeats a foe in the Arenas of Aeia, they capture their essence and gain the ability to take on their form and use their abilities. The transformation can take up to thirty seconds, depending on what form they are taking on and each transformation lasts the duration of a battle. Upon taking fatal injuries, the Augen will return to their original form.


Lightning Empowerment: The tattoos on his body indicate that he is chosen for greatness by the gods of the Augen. This manifests through Anthonidas' innate ability to release his inner life energy and imbue a sort of lightning into his fists and sword. This energy can be quite strong being able to quickly reach over a thousand volts of energy. However, as Anthonidas activates this ability, his energy drains exponentially faster. If he empowers a strike with the max of a thousand volts at once, he can risk blacking out.

Skills:

Swordsman - Anthonidas is a skilled and experienced swordsman trained by some of the best of Aeia.

Beast Slayer - Augens are particularly adept at thinking on their feet and finding the weaknesses of their enemies even if they have little to no experience on their enemy. This doesn't mean that they automatically know their enemies weakness, rather they are very inventive at thinking of new strategies for defeating their enemies.

Weaknesses:

Lone Wolf - Anthonidas is not a very good team player since he is quite self centered and bolts into battle without even considering his allies.

Alien - Augens are not from Earth and are not accustomed to the diseases, cuisine and other native lifestyle aspects. They are very susceptible to diseases and common ailments may be fatal. At the same time, some deadly ailments may do nothing, no one knows because no one has been in Anthonidas' particular situation before.

Gold - Coincidentally, contact with the Earth metal Gold burns Anthonidas' skin and brings him to his knees in anguish. Oddly enough, he showers himself in things made of gold colored metal found on Aeia because it is his favorite color.

Water - Earth's waters have an element to it that weakens Anthonidas' usually tough skin into being softened and human like. Whether it's rain or water from a super soaker, either do the trick.

Equipment:

This blade is a special saber that's blessed by the gods so that only its owner can wield it. If anyone else would try to wield it, it would prove to be too heavy to lift. The blade is incredibly sharp, able to slice easily through metal and is near indestructible.

Anthonidas' gold-like armor is extremely strong and flexible, designed to protect him but not limit him in combat. The armor is able to deflect bullets and withstand incredible forces up to a few tons of weight.



Personality:
Anthonidas grew up being told he was awesome by everyone so, eventually, he started to believe them. His ego has been over inflated and he is as arrogant as anyone you'd meet. If he can do something by himself, he will do it by himself. He has a sense of humor that might take some getting used to. Usually he will make a joke off of another's joke to belittle the original comedian. He can be known to have a bit of a fiery temper, but he has to be pushed to get to that point. He is pretty sarcastic and acts like he knows everything. If I could, I'd punch him in the face.

Strengths:
Confidence - While he is extremely arrogant, you definitely can't say he isn't confident. He will be able to change the mood in the room from defeated to 'yeah, we got this', in a minute with some persuasion. He understands that, if he tries, he will succeed.

Leadership - Although he's unaware of it, if he cleans up his smugness, he could lead quite strongly. Sadly, he doesn't value teammates enough for him to realize this yet.

History:
In ancient times, it is said that Aeia was united and in a golden age. The Augens ruled proudly as their technology and culture were progressing at impressive rates, but, as it is told, an Augen named Enkidu became corrupted by unholy magic and developed a lust for power. It is said that his greed and corruption led to a grand war, the first of recorded history, and that this war led to the destruction of much of the empire and millions of deaths. The gods were enraged with Enkidu and banished him to dwell in the largest sun of their planet, burning until the end of time. The gods also said that since his line led to the destruction of the Augen Empire, a day will come when one of his descendants would unite the empire once more. Enkidu was not very enthused with reigning forever in Aeia's largest sun, however and vowed that he would return to seek his vengeance on the gods themselves.

Or so it is told...

In time, facts faded and the legend was taken less seriously as the chosen descendant seemed that he would never come. The clans continue to fight over land. Wars raged and monks became fewer and fewer as warriors began to dominate the race. Then came Anthonidas.

Palomedes was a highly regarded warrior and brilliant tactician in his hay-day. But, as he grew older, he knew his fighting days were over and he was worthy of starting his own clan. Many great champions found their way into his clan but none more curious when the gods presented a child marked with red. Uneducated in the things of legend, Palomedes simply rejoiced with his clan as the gods granted them another child. He would be named Anthonidas.

As he grew in the clan and practiced Augen traditions and ceremonies, it became obvious that they had a special one in Anthonidas. He rose to the top of every fight and was admired by all of his peers. Even Acacia, one of the greatest Augen warriors of this age, would brag about his new brother's potential.

Time went on and Anthonidas was ready for his trials to becoming a full warrior of Clan Palomedes. He entered the arena and defeated the Ursine, so it was time for the greatest test of all. The clan rejoiced and drank as Anthonidas entered the ancient Armadum. A sacred zone of peace among all clans, the Armadum is a pool of gold in a cave atop the highest mountain on Aeia. Once an Augen dips into the pool, they emerge in the waters of a foreign land. The challenge is to survive and thrive, earning the respect and admiration of the natives, unlock your own inner potential and to mature as a true Augen.

Confident that he would do well, Anthonidas bragged that he would return in a few days with the head of the land's most vicious beast. He climbed the grand mountain and entered the mystic chambers. His smug smile faded and his true nerves bled through as he stared into the shining pool. He shook of the sweat on his forehead and for a moment considered turning back, afraid that he'd miss his home too much. But, he was the great Anthonidas, he reminded himself. He would be fine. With a large gulp of air, he dove in head first.

He kept his eyes closed tightly for a moment before realizing that something was wrong. He opened his eyes and saw the pitch blackness of the bottomless pool for a moment. Suddenly two huge eyes emerged, glowing with burning fire. A low echoing voice rang through the cavern. "I. Will. Return."

The image shocked Anthonidas as he had no idea what this meant. Suddenly scrambling as he was running out of air, he frantically swam up for air. He gasped and coughed up water as he emerged. His thoughts raced, he should warn Palomedes! What did that mean? What that normal? But, as his eyes opened, he saw a girl in remarkably little armor and only skin tight cloth covering her chest and waist pulled him out of the water. She leaned over him and moved forward in attempts to kiss him! As her lips pressed against his, he pushed her off and flipped over to his knees, coughing up the rest of the water in his lungs.

After finally regaining his composure, he looked up and saw a lone sun hanging in the sky. He wasn't home, not anymore. He could not warn the clan. He was completely alone now. A slap from a petite hand brought him back to this world. He brought his hand to his face and rubbed it, not because it hurt but because he was amazed that it happened.

"Didn't your mother teach you not to push people over like that! JERK!!!" The scantily clad girl exclaimed before strutting away around a man-made pool jammed with many other people, some overweight and all scantily clad. No, he certainly wasn't home.

The flames will need to be reduced in power. Most metals have a melting point in the tens of thousands of degrees, that is currently well beyond whats acceptable, this will change however and can get more powerful given time. Please reduce them temp and let me know. I'm looking for something around or less than 2000 degrees.

Aight, I went a slightly different route after discussing the fire idea with some people in the cbox. 1000 Volts is considered just barely at 'High Voltage' and would kill a normal human, but that is absolutely the max that Anthonidas can dish out at once and it would cause him to black out in the process, so I think that may be alright but let me know if I need to lower it.
