TWS SIGNUPS! (REBOOTED!) TWO WEEK OPENING! (Mostly) ANYONE WELCOME!

Plot: All around the world, a weird feeling was in the air. It was as if static electricity was increasing around every area. Before it got to frightening levels, however, a voice rang out to every living person, even in their sleep.


After that, the voice was gone, and so was the feeling. Anyone who said the spoken word was engulfed in a prismatic light, before teleporting to another location. They would find themselves on a giant machine, with rooms to accommodate beings of every shape and size.


OOC: Okay, you have two weeks to sign up for this! ANYBODY is welcome to the tournament, and you can sign up with multiple characters! I'm telling you though, you have only TWO WEEKS to sign up! I will NOT have this lagged!

At first, Shivering Jemmy thought the ice cream cone was talking to her, but she soon realized it was something else entirely, something...sinister. It sounded like fun.

"Glassandally."

Electronic bleeps, whoops, and clanks emanated from inside the arcade. Stereotypically jaunty music played on rotation as the kids battled their monsters. Hugh Exley was sat down racing in a rally stage when the mystical voice rang out. Most considered it a gimmick to the establishment they were in. Pix picked the earwax from his ear and tried to explain away the phenomenon rationally.

To his right, a troop of delinquent schoolchildren were laughing at the announcement. One boy in particular mocked the audaciousness of the challenge, "So what? Like I just say 'Glassandally' and-" The promised prism of light engulfed him, "Ohmygosh! Whataworld! Whataworld..."

Like everyone in the arcade, Pix was taken aback. So the voice was telling the truth. It was worth investigating further. Sitting back in his driver's chair, Exley changed quickly into his metahuman form. He then proceeded to decimate the arcade by ripping all the pixels off its screens, causing people to abandon their machines. When finished, Pix gathered the excess pixels around him. Now he would go into battle armed.

"Glassandally."

Scapegoat had a feeling of deja-vu. "Dilly-dally! No wait. Hellooo dally! No... Mohammed Dalli! Son of a gun! Glassandal- ah forget it." He continued on with his meal.

((OOC: Just to be sure, that means Scapegoat isn't going.))

Laughter sat at her desk, eating chips, looking up all sorts of random things on the internet. Then came the voice: "You are officially invited to the World's Strongest tournament! If you want to participate in this tournament to become officially declared the strongest person in the world, simply say, "Glassandally"!" Laughter was used to such voices, and she shrugged it off.

"Why would I want to go and do that? I'm perfectly happy on Encyclopedia Dramatica-" She cut herself off.

"What about all the heroes that might be there.... it would be fun to beat them to a bloody pulp-" She cut herself off again.

"But what if you have to fight like, Galactus???"

"Who's Galactus?"

"...I dunno."

"...Right. Glassandally!"

If it's not too much trouble, I'd like a picture for each character someone's registering. I'm going to make a visual tournament chart, and I'd like thumbnails for each character.

Victor got a mail on his email saying something about a tournament as he read it aloud to himself he questioned the last word. Glassandally? Instantly he was engulfed by a prismatic light and found himself in a strange room. He would have to investigate this further.

Mae was busy training in the forest when she heard the voice mutter in her head. "Glassandally? Is that even a word?" She muttered, kicking rocks and boulders at the nearby tree, toppling it to the ground. As she lifted another boulder though, a bright light engulfed her and teleported her away.

The titans leader sat in the tower, laid out on the couch. A relaxing morning, no criminals, no giant monsters, nothing! Then the voice rang out in her head and at first she ignored it. But the idea of a tournament or something with the strongest in the world...well...maybe it was a good recruiting opportunity! Yeah that's it!

Ace watched the scene around him after the message had finished, noticing that a couple of people who had said the word vanished. "Hm. I could've sworn that we're supposed to ignore voices in our heads. Although I suppose that only refers to the ones that tell us to kill people. Ah well, this sounds like fun!" he concluded, checking his decks to make sure they were fully stocked. "Awesome. Now, what was that word? Glassandally? he questioned, immediately before disappearing in a white glow of light.
