[size=25]===IDENTITY===
Full Name: Jacob Walter
Nickname(s): Gun, Slinger
Codename: Gunslinger
Age: 25
Classification: Meta-Human
Affiliation: Good

===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===

Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 150lbs
Other Traits:
Thin Mustache, and various scars across body.

===POWERS===

Powers:
Twitch-
Brief moments of super speed called "twitching". These usually involve a quick-draw or hand to hand combat, allowing him to deal a devastating attack on impulse. They are limited and not something he can do constantly. Overuse can cause nerve damage and excruciating pain. He can only travel small distances and can only use the ability once or twice an hour.
Unfinished-
While killabe, he never seems to stay dead. Less severe mortal wounds, short of decapitation and destruction of the heart, will allow him to simply wake up a month later. Most scars don't even form.
While as vulnerable to harm as a normal human, he worries less and will often throw himself at danger with knowledge that he is hard to kill permanently. Even if he does suffer such extreme injuries, he can be stitched back together in any hospital.

Skills:
Combat-
Expert pistolman, and experienced with most firearms and explosives. He is also trained in survival skills and basic combat skills. This includes recon, stealth, and problem solving.
Leadership-
Expert businessman with great people skills. His short fuse, ego, and knack for destruction often hides his ability to work well with others and even manipulate them.

Weaknesses:
Electricity- his nerves are easily over taken by an electric charge. Leaving him quite vulnerable.
Smoke- he has a weak lung capacity, smoke alone can drive him away. Excessive smoke or chemical cloud can leave him gasping and incapacitated.

Equipment:
Revolver- a cartoonishly large black revolver. His signature weapon.
Must reload after six shots.
12 rounds per thread live or rubber.
Rifle- Cowboy repeater style.
Three round capacity before reload.
9 rounds per thread
Explosive- Small pipebomb like weapon that bears resemblance to dynamite.
Carries maximum of three with explosive force of an average stick of dynamite.
Combat Knife- long sheathed knife.
Shotgun- small sawed off double barrel shotgun.
Five round capacity.
15 rounds per thread.
Above guns can use either live ammo or rubber bullets depending on the situation or target.
Rope- basic thin white rope with countless uses.
Gatling gun- a rarely used super weapon.
Transportation- He often uses a horse for there ability to get in and out of any area, but will also use expendable motorcycles or cars effectively.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Personality:
By any means necessary; the method of any cold blooded killer determined to get the job done. His tenacity is often frustrating to enemies and allies a like. But his calm and collected manor is broken by his childish curiosity and need for wanton destruction. Some see him as an annoying little psycho with a gun and an anger problem. Those who've worked with him can attest to his childish ways of fooling with things around him, but take notice of his determination. His strong will keeps him under control when dealing with others. This helps him make friends easily and get along even with those who are trying to stop him.
Though the destruction he causes and crimes he commits can quickly turn anyone against him. Luckily his newest mission restricts him to follow, to the best of his ability, the stricter morality of the heroes around him. Including the preservation of life.

Jacob suffers from a hatred of authority. He is quick to rebel against the system and prefers to do things his own way. As a gunslinger he follows by a short list of rules:
1. Always carry a gun
2. Complete the objective
3. Regret nothing

Strengths:
-Tenacity
-Fearlessness
-Brutality

Interests/Habits:
His is a profession gun hobbyist, hunter, and survivalist. Though not much of a hobby he is also a bandit and assassin.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Family Members:Divorced mother and father. He has four siblings; two brothers and two sisters. He has cut ties to them to avoid putting them in danger.
Place of Origin: North East, United States of America.
Current City: Nomadic
History:
As the old west was just starting to see its first towns, an immigrant group of warrior monks had settled into the region. They brought with them their incredible martial arts techniques and a moral code to never take a life. The monks had become the quite guardians of peace, largely ignored by the White settlers who had colonized the regions around them.
These monks occasionally captured bandits and killers, but their greatest threat was the rise of an army on the boarder of Mexico.

An eager new conqueror had set his sites on the southwestern region of the United States of America and soon had the army to capture it. Before the government could get word on this invading force however the monks had captured their leader. And so began a long campaign for the guardians of the west. Because they could not take a life, they handed everyone they captured over to local sheriffs. The large army would waste no time in destroying the town; killing and raping the locals before freeing their leader. This process occurred again and again as the monks captured as many of the soldiers as they could. Only for them to be liberated by their comrades.

Aware of this failed endeavor, several bandits and guns for hire set their sights on seeing the conqueror's army disbanded. The Monks could never kill, but the lawless bandits could. The threat of the Mexican army was a threat to them as well. So a small group of these highway men began contacting others and organizing a force of their own. The Gunslingers were brought together for a single purpose, bring peace by doing what the monks could not. That way they could go back to their tradition means of life, robing and looting. Working in the shadow of the monks, they began assassinating the leaders of the foreign army shortly after they were handed over to the local law. The monks were given no news of the fate of their defeated foes. And so the killings continued until the threat was finally over.

Convinced by their own performance; the Gunslingers continued their duel role as a secret society of both criminals and vigilantes. While not driven by strong moral codes, they recognized the need to protect the status quo. Their members were encouraged to take or do whatever they needed to survive. And earn the right to do what they do by putting an end to any threat to the innocent or the world at large. At their beginning the Gunslingers had no idea their role would grow beyond careful assassin. As their skill with firearms proved great, they didn't need the monks as often to handle threats. Soon the gunmen were facing threats directly and eagerly. As time marched on, their enemies grew in numbers and the threats often grew stranger. The Gunslingers were no longer killers limited to the America south west, they became a world wide organization.

Collecting trophies and artifacts from past victories, the Gunslingers happened upon a mystical plant called the Druid. The plant secreted a powerful nectar that, when consumed, would allow a person to move briefly near the speed of light. This nectar become a staple of the Gunslingers, allowing them to quick draw faster then anyone else on Earth and hit targets with astounding precision. But the ability came with a terrible side effect. The twitch became the name of the spasms often experienced by older members of the Gunslingers. It was sign that they had used the nectar far too often. And a sign that they would soon be retired. The twitch was a sign that the nerves and muscles in their body had been pushed beyond their limit. They would harden and slow until only consumption of the nectar of the druid plant could allow them to move again. And eventually the paralysis would become untreatable.

At a young age, Jacob was handed over to the Gunslingers by his parents. He was a freak of nature having been born with a list of medical issues. He was a natural with a gun, but burden to his family.
The best choice they saw was to teach him to be a Gunslinger like his father, and his father before him. That way, if he were lucky, he would die a dignified death. A gunslinger by birthright, his medical problems seems to disappear every time he fired a gun. His weak heart and lungs grew stronger as if by some miracle. When he was first given his taste of the druid plant's nectar, he was just as capable as any of the other gunslingers.

By the time he had hit puberty, he was one of the most successful assassins the Gunslingers had. They sent him to one mission after another expecting him to never return, but he always did. He was fearless and determined to see what awaited him next. Every nightmare he faced was a new wonder. So it came to no surprise when he developed the twitch at one third the age of most Gunslingers. He used the nectar so often because he had faced more foes then most other Gunslingers he knew. But his performance never came as a surprise to they or himself as he was a Gunslinger by birth.

When Jacob was admitted to the hospital, the original warrior monks that the Gunslingers had followed in the footsteps of had settled into small religious group. They no longer carried out the duty of protecting the innocent. The Gunslingers had replaced the former heroes with their own skill and firepower. Things that at one point became useless to Jacob. Paralyzed, he struggled for days to regain his mobility. He refused the nectar, knowing that the last treat the Gunslingers ever used was only temporary. As done traditionally, a local Gunslinger was sent to relieve Jacob of his suffering. But when he arrived to take the young gunslinger's life, he found his bed empty.

Jacob was, after all, unlike all the others. While the medical problems he was born with had disappeared entirely, his body had still suffered and healed. His nerves and muscles had grown accustomed to breaking and healing. Like lifting weights, his use of the nectar was like an exercise. When he forced his body to move at nearly the speed of light, it strained and suffered. But grew stronger because of it. Be it because he is a freak of nature, or a fluke, his body repaired itself and his paralysis dissipated. His muscles though had been too well adjusted to the druid plant's nectar and the young Gunslinger's body proved to be capable of doing the trick with out it.

Taking up his guns, he set out to test his gift when he received word from his fellow Gunslingers. Most of the world's heroes and villains had disappeared. New threats would soon be underway and the lack of heroes meant someone else would have to fill in.
Knowing that any superheroes returning would turn their attention to a gun wielding vigilante and thief, Jacob had to swear to follow closely the moral of the monks. Or at least do his best to avoid killing someone in front of the authorities.

Sample RP

The car's right front tire popped, spraying rubber across the road as it careened to the right. The guardrail stopped the cars sudden right turn and grinded it to a halt. Rain covered the windshield making it impossible to see anything but the brightness of the headlights into the moonless night. The sound of the storm had covered his approached. The driver's side door flung open and a woman with long flowing white hair jumped out to greet their stalker. She raised her hands in a gesture of surrender and to began him not to come any closer. Through the rain and darkness, the outline of the horse rider grew. He held a rifle out over the horses head, rain pouring over the sides of his rimed hat.
"Please, don't hurt us. Just tell..." The woman began before her head imploded. In what seemed like the same moment, a man jumped out of the same driver's side door and raced to the woman.
"Oh god no, my wife." The main cried out in the rain. He pulled the woman up by the shoulders and pulled her hair back away from the impact sight of the bullet.

"You weren't married." The Gunslinger said allowed as the horse slowed to halt. "I know you built that thing. And as far as Im concerned you can not marry a thing."
He slid the rifle into a holster to the side of the horse. Easing himself off of his ride, the Gunslinger pulled out his knife and rope. As long as the android was destroyed he didn't think he would need a gun to capture the scientist. After all, all of the victims had been murdered by a suspect with no finger prints and a synthetic skin. With the threat neutralized, he could grab the weirdo with the machine fetish and be back in time for a microwave dinner.
He pulled the rope tight with both hands and stood over the scientist. "Put your hands up, lets not make this any harder then it has to be."
The scientist, dress cloths drenched in rain water, let the machine's body slump back to the pavement. His eyes glared back at the gunslinger with contempt. His body turned as he lifted himself up to meet him face to face.
"Come on now, put your hands out. That bullet could have just as easily have been for you." The Gunslinger continued to demand, but he could tell the man would not cooperate. He had fled the moment he had seen him. Somehow he knew he was coming for him. That part worried him. But No car can out pace a horse with a bullet hole in the gas tank and a shot right tire.
The man's hand gripped tight on the Gunslinger's shirt.
"Decoy right?" The Gunslinger asked as a frown spread across his face. He was lifted off the ground by the man's one arm and thrown against the car.
"Rule number one!" The Gunslinger growled to himself and sprung from the ground for the horse.
The doppelganger of the scientist intercepted him in mid sprint. He was thrown upward over the guardrail where he slammed into a tree branch and tumbled down a muddy hill. Digging his hands into he mud, he found himself up to his elbows in a small river created by the rain. Drenched and disoriented, he had no time to move before the decoy had joined him.
It jumped down into the rain river and grabbed Slinger by the arms. Its false teeth grinning, but it was too dark for the Gunslinger to see them. He was yanked upward and thrown onto his back and into the water.

The Gunslinger found himself in a difficult situation; he was now under water and quickly felt the machines arms reaching in to hold him there. It was built with super human strength. He couldn't just push it off. He had to come up with an alternative fast. 'My Knife!' the thought rushed into his head. The robot cold not see Gunslingers grin through the darkness either.
Its hands grabbed at his shoulders and pushed him further further into the mud. The machines left arm suddenly gave way and the right weakened. It could not feel pain but it could tell damage was being done. It stood up to examine the status of its arms to find the joints had was cut rendering the entire arm below the elbow useless. Free of the robot's grip, the Gunslinger rushed upward. He could pull off a twitch, he had too. The thing was too fast to simply swing at and he had not used his ability all day.

In the blink of an eye, the Gunslinger jolted forward with his combat knife in hand. He could hardly see his target's outline and his charge was mostly a guess. The blade hit rubber flesh with a satisfying slice. Wires and metal popped free from his targets neck with the head snapping back. The connection broken the entire body went limp.

A small victory for the Gunslinger; the original scientist was still at large. But for now he would have to enjoy it. Digging his boots and fingers into the muddy hillside, he made his way back up to his horse. He couldn't help but scold himself for leaving his guns at his horse, and fantasizing about a shower and a warm bed.

ALright, if he's going to be carrying all these weapons I'd dare say he must have a bag that equals to to a super power. We can't have everyone running around with 10 things, it belittles characters that actually focus on having gadgets.

You guy, on the otherhand, somehow carries around a gatling gun, if it's the old kind, they used to be mounted on two wheels and towed by horses or teams of men. If it's the new kind, also usually mounted or stumbled around with. with the maximum amount of ammo a person can carry lasting less than half a minute...and Im talking enough ammo wrapped on you to serve as body armor.

On that note, ammo will need to be quantified. So will the amount of other weapons like explosives.

Yep, Gattling Gun is "rarely used" for that exact reason. Likely to be positioned somewhere or on something. After that everything I listed is easily fitted onto the average person. The only items that get in the way are the shotgun and rifle. The shotgun is sawed so that strongly negates that problem. In my short little story I also showed that the character left his guns on a horse.
The character is like a typical western cowboy movie gunslinger, except he has that "twitch" thing. And Im willing to ignore that ability for balance reasons.

Added ammo capacity. Dont see any thread lasting long enough to go through a whole box of bullets. Also added explosive power and two ammo types. Lethal for expendable targets and rubber for live targets.

He can't cover distances with twitch right?
His unkillable is never battle effective right?
If he has multiple types of ammo it should at least be plausible that he runs out of some of them so he'll need those ammo numbers.

Twitch distance is like five feet, Ill add that. Also you can see in the story he uses it to attack an enemy right in front of him. I'll add some uses and limits later.
If ammo limit is needed Ill figure out some numbers.

Im actually going to table this character until I get a hundred post count. I have a villain character I can add that will be more useful until I can introduce Gunslinger as an archenemy. Ill make those changes though so the character can be ready for his debut.
