Super Saiyan Physiology
Trunks uses the natural inner energy known as Ki to enhance his body. This allows him to lift a little over a ton, fly at speeds of up to 40 mph and move fast enough to leave an after image, although these require higher bursts of speed and take up a bit more energy.

Ki Manipulation
Trunks can manipulate the natural inner energy of Ki, allowing him to create Ki Blasts and form an aura around him. However in this timeline, Trunks' Ki seems to be much weaker, meaning a simple Ki Blast is only enough to punch a hole in a wall or two, a barrage of them only suited to take down a wall. His more powerful techniques seem to retain some of their power, but they require a few seconds to charge, though the means of charging are different per technique. Finally, Trunks is capable of transferring his Ki to his sword, making it stronger than usual and allows him to fire 'beam slashes' from it.

Super Saiyan
Trunks, after feeling intense emotional pain achieved the legendary form of Super Saiyan. Trunks has only unlocked the first level, although it is possible to enhance it through training. Trunks can transform into a Super Saiyan almost instantly. While in this form, his endurance will spike to a point that he can withstand being punched through a wall and shrug it off. However, this form is sustained through his remaining energy and any blows he takes in this form will decrease his energy.

Powerful Swordsman
Trunks is an extremely accomplished swordsman, however he is nowhere near a master. With this knowledge, Trunks is very humble about the use of his sword and realizes he has much to learn.

Seasoned Martial Artist
Trunks, through his mother and some old records, has learned an old Saiyan Martial Art which was originally used by his father, Vegeta. However, he never had an official teacher for a long amount of time and is far from a master.

Weaknesses:

Energy Loss
As Trunks loses energy, he starts to become physically weaker. His Ki blasts will lose a lot of their 'oomph' and he will even lose his physical strength, due to the fact that it is Ki generated. The only real solution to this is an adrenaline boost, a long rest, or some other way of replenishing energy. Although the only alternative in his timeline were Senzu Beans...

Energy Consumption
If Trunks runs into someone who is an 'energy leech' such as Android 19 and 20 from Goku's universe, he won't be much good against them due to the fact that they can absorb both his energy blasts and the energy of his aura.

Equipment:

Trunks' Sword
Recovered while scavenging in Trunks' apocalyptic future, this is an enchanted sword which will change its size to perfectly fit the wielder. It can become a shortsword, longsword, greatsword, or even a dagger.

Capsule Case
Created by his mother, Trunks has a case of capsules which hold different things in them. Only two of them are filled, but here are 4 more which can be filled with different inanimate objects. The two filled ones contain his time machine, which is inoperable currently, and the other is a fully functional free standing refrigerator with drinks and snacks in them. For those longer missions. Things that are contained in the capsule can be broken back down into them.

Having been born in an apocalyptic world with the Androids running rampant, Trunks is a very cautious and respectful teen. He looks toward a free world and thus despises all forms of villainy, looking to lend aid wherever possible.
