| "This City looks so pretty... do you wanna burn it with me?"Isabel Verina Harkness===IDENTITY=== Full Name: Isabel Verina Harkness Nickname(s): Izzy Codename: Blight Alias(es): "The Black Death", "Mother of the Living Dead" Age: 19 Classification: Corpse, technically Affiliation: Evil ===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION=== Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Purple Height: 5'7" Weight: Light Other Traits: Very noticeable scar on her tummy. ===POWERS=== Powers: Death Energy Manipulation Magic - Isabel has a mastery of magic that let's her create constructs out of what she calls "Death Energy". It's black in color, and tends to suck the life out of things that come in contact with it, making them grow weaker and weaker depending on how long the contact is held. These constructs can be as big as an SUV, and are the strength of steel. Regeneration - Isabel's corpse like body is used to taking damage, and repairing itself from it. She can regenerate her own limbs, and heal her own wounds. She can still feel pain, but Isabel is a bit of a masochist, and it doesn't phase her much. Small wounds heal fast, a few seconds, but big things like, say, a missing arm or decapitation can take up to an hour unless she holds the severed limb back up to where it came off and it just reattaches. If crushed, Isabel will be immobilized while her regeneration repairs the damage. This can take up to 30 minutes of immobilization, and about an hour to fully heal on average. If cut in half, or something more than a limb, Isabel will have to be touching both halves for them to reconnect. That process is relatively fast, though. Only taking a few minutes. Skills: Acrobatics, Persuasive, and Highly Intelligent. Weaknesses: Physical Damage - Though she can regenerate at a quick rate, physical damage will slow Isabel down drastically, and her corpse like body is rather easily taken apart. Tough she is more durable than an average human, she can still be knocked unconscious. Shockingly Weak to Tazers - Nobody likes to be tazed, but it's extra bad for Isabel. When hit with an electric current, it breaks her concentration and causes any constructs she's made to vanish. She can still make constructs after the current passes through her, but it gets rid of any she made before. Stubborn, and Rash - Isabel will often charge into dangerous places, and be too stubborn to leave. She likes the thrill of danger. Light based magic - Isabel's darkness is weak to any form of magic that's based around light. Equipment: Nothing notable. ===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE=== Personality: Izzy is clever at times, and thinks highly of herself. Often her behavior could be considered childish, and self-centered. She'd throw away another life with no hesitation, even if it doesn't better her own plans. Sometimes, she just likes to kill people, and sometimes she simply doesn't have a plan. She is very whimsical on her desires, but stubborn when it comes to getting them. If she wants something, even if it's something silly, she will do everything in her power to get it, no matter the cost. She once lost an arm reaching for a penny on a rail road track. She's prone to bouts of severe mood swings, and many psychologists would call her mentally insane, but she thinks of herself as a visionary, not liking at all to be called insane. She doesn't feel comfortable when she's introduced to feelings she isn't used to, like love, compassion, loneliness; and, she has shown that when she does feel these types of emotions, she acts borderline childish about them. If she feels lonely, she may just walk up to the nearest person and decide that was her new friend, even if they don't want anything to do with her. However, when someone is able to get her to feel something new, she will often latch onto that person and never let them go. She's very selfish and territorial, once she decides something is hers, she will very often not let anyone else have anything to do with it. If she decides you're her friend, she will get very jealous if she sees someone else talking to you. Strengths: Smart, and disarmingly charming with her words. Interests/Habits: Izzy often is caught reading manga, and comics. She loves action heroes. She also writes fanfiction! Loves a good romance... also, she kills people, sometimes. ===PERSONAL BACKGROUND=== Family Members:
- Jack Harkness:
A fearsome father to Verina, he never showed love in any capacity, and often left the kids on their own for weeks at a time.
- Verina Harkness:
Isabel's cold and hard to love mother. Her mother was almost completely oblivious to everything around her, and often forgot she had kids.
- Simon Harkness:
Isabel's younger brother. He is thought to be pure evil. People think right, and nobody knew this better than Isabel herself. This little kid tortured her when they were children. Stole her food, and often scratched and bit her.
Place of Origin: Jump City Current City: Steel City History: When Isabel was young, she liked to adventure around in her house, and her neighborhood when she was allowed. One day, she adventured out into an unfamiliar territory. It was a patch of woods near the edge of town, and she felt... compelled to enter. Her body seemed to move on it's own, as she walked further into the woods. She was young, only about 9 years old, and when her body finally allowed her to stop, she was exhausted. She heard a voice behind her and turned around. It was an old hooded man, holding a scary looking book. The man was a Necromancer. He forced Isabel to stay, and taught her his powers. Isabel learned the basics of Death Energy, but her master never actually taught her how to reanimate corpses. Instead, she became a master manipulator of death energy. It took a full ten years of practice and training. At the end... her master killed her, then revived her, saying that he was just trying to make the perfect warrior. He had, however, made a mistake. Isabel used her knowledge of Necromancy to regain her own consciousness, then killed her master with a surprise death energy attack. She does not know how to bring herself back to live permanently, because she was never taught how to reanimate corpses, so she is stuck in her own corpse. Sample RPVerina stayed in the rain for a solid 20 minutes, not noticing much of the world around her. she was thinking. in order to be a proper Queen, she knew what she had to do. She'd always been told what she needed to do to unlock the true power of the Godfrey family, but she'd never thought her body could handle the change. However, now that she had been awoken by Gilgamesh, she thought she could manage whatever tax it would take. "Then it's decided."Verina declared to herself, then stormed into the manor, rain water jumping off of her being and tracking into the house. It was as if the rain was shedding off her being as she paced quickly through the house with purpose until she reached her destination. It was the one room that everyone else had been banned from. She frowned as she opened the door and saw the window still smashed. Some people had no respect whatsoever. She sighed, then sat at her piano again. she took a deep breath, clearing her mind. she needed exact precision for this to work... she played softly, with an exact precision that she'd spent years practicing in order to finally master. It was a display of true and powerful skill on the piano, and the pleasant sound seemed to carry across the entire city. "And the room jumps to life..."Verina spoke in a soft, yet clear tone, and almost immediately the room shifted on it's own, a light blue magic dust seeming to push it. The book case went in front of the window, blocking the rain and any wandering eyes, the door closed and locked, then the heavy desk moved in front of it. Verina stood, and the piano drew into the wall, disappearing. Dust from the rarely moved furniture filled the room for a moment, before settling into a new spot. After the room ceased move, Verina stood straight. "...and to the gods, the treasure was revealed..."The floor jumped to life next, opening itself up and revealing a staircase that didn't even fit into the houses floor plans. Verina took a deep breath before stepping into the dark stairs. She pulled out her enormous sword with ease and an apathetic stare. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, there was a massive door. Verina looked at it in awe for a moment before she held up her massive weapon. "...and the gods presented their key to the hidden weapons of the worlds."With that, her sword floated into the air, again carried by the magic dust. It seemed to unlock the door, and it opened up right away. Verina stared into the newly revealed area. It seemed like it was it's own world, with one mountain. On top of the mountain was one tiny cube, and Verina picked it up. She stared at it for a long time, before she squeezed it in her hand. Out from it burst many shining blue particles. Immediately Verina could hear screams of terror and cries of emptiness, but she didn't flinch away. The dust assaulted Verina, almost like it was trying to eat her, but she embraced it. It was painful, the attack of the strange substance. It lifted her into the air, and Verina herself started glowing, so bright that the dust couldn't be seen anymore. Then, in an instant, it all ceased. Verina crashed to the floor, panting. Her eyes seemed to glow blue. "...and the gods blessed us, everyone."Immediately, the whole new dimension had vanished, and Verina reappeared back into the piano room, which was shifting back to it's normal structure. She was in the middle of the lavish room, panting slightly, adjusting to the newest power that was embracing her. She felt it inside her head, clawing her, trying to gain control of her body, but she fought it off. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. When they reopened, the room was repaired, and she felt... normal. She stood tall, starting to feel the new powers again. She knew how to control them, her mother and father spent all their time teaching her. She couldn't forget such valuable information. "For the sins of our fathers, are not passed to the young of our genes."That was the final touch, and Verina's massive sword reappeared in her hand and she gave a slick smile. She was ready to restore her family's true honor. She paced towards the front door, stepping into the rain again.

| Okay, so as I said in the cbox: you can't be a black lantern on this site. Other reasons include how she got the ring and that she still has a personality, which im confident black lanterns usually lose. It's also not that easy to get one and all black rings are destroyed in the comics.
Please choose another power/character.

- How big can her constructs be?
No bigger than a Semi Truck. - Quote :
- How hard are they to break?
Let's say twice as strong as the object they're imitating. Like a semi would require enough force to stop 2 semis to break it. - Quote :
- Can she feel pain?
Yes, but she can be considered a masochist, so it doesn't phase her much. - Quote :
- How fast does she regenerate?
Small wounds are fast, a few seconds, but big things like, say, a missing arm or decapitation can take up to an hour unless she holds the severed limb back up to where it came off and it just reattaches.

| Made the edits, changed the strength of the constructs to triple the strength of steel for consistency's sake. | |

| So she needs on more weakness, something that can actually keep her down for an extended period of time. | |

| If she's weak to light based magic, are her powers magic?
With the advent of the reboot you'll also have to put her constructs durability at strength of steel for max.
I assume her body has normal human durability...but what happens if she's crushed or chopped up at the torso, the second is more hypothetical...but the first actually could happen on a site where super strength is pretty normal.

| okay, she does need a less horribly painful and gory((ie: not being crushed or cut into tiny bits xD)) way to be stopped for an extended period of time. After that everything should be in order. | |

| It'd be nice to see a bit longer history and her new weakness needs to be explained.
With the reboot, and her regen, I think her upper limit of making things should be more along the lines of just a semi cab, or an SUV.

| Okay, edited the limit of her constructs and explained the weakness. As far as the history goes... I was hoping to get away with being a little vague, so I could get into detail through RP. I prefer it that way, because I think it's better to show than it is to tell, but if that's a problem, I can just add more detail now. | |
