Hello everyone, my name is Caritas. I am sorry for the lack of activity since I joined almost four months ago. Dar I am sorry that I wasted your time, it just when I got back to work on my character I lost inspiration in it. This has been my problem because whenever I start working on a character I loose interest in it. I was wondering if you guys know how I could hold interest in something and enjoy role playing with that character.

Theme music is usually what keeps me into a character... Gives me a main vibe for the character creation and to post with them... well thats for me anyway.

I agree, theme music is the best. But, you have to equally enjoy the character, what you're writing, etc. I always do a few tiny short sequences of own writing for my characters, to get into character. Hope that helps!

Honestly, the way to stay inspired for me is to keep joining threads. Make a character with an interesting personality, and then seek out other interesting characters. Forming relationships between characters (friendship, romance, rivalry, hatred), will make RP'ing really interesting because your posts will be affecting other people in very big ways. And in return, you will find your character being affected by others.

What I do is make my character relatable to me, or find one.

My first character was Rose and, although I haven't used her in forever, I can relate to her well. Very angry and very protective. If you can find something like that, a character you truly have a passion for, you're golden.

But how do you find that? Well, look at yourself. What are your shortcomings? Mine happens to be anger, so that's common ground with Rose and I built up from there. ^^

Actually yes i have. I have been listening to several theme songs and I was drawn towards to creepy pasta music such as twinkle little star in dead space. In RPG games such as oblivion and skyrim I get drawn into making Necromancer characters so I am making a Necromancer base character with some twists, one of them are that he is a good guy which I find rare. I am also putting in some character style based off of King Sombra.

I am working on his skills right now and I hit a little writers block. I put Biology in their but i am having a hard time thinking up other skills that a Necromancer might have.
