Other Traits: Kira is a tad on the short side. She has layered blond hair that has a tendency to from spikes. Her eyes are brown and she has a cute and pretty face. She is very toned as she likes to work out. Kira has a few non-human characteristic too. Her teeth are far sharper than any humans (even though they still look the same). Her nails on her fingers and toes are naturally black and are so hard they could be considered claws. However they are still in the human nail shape.

Kira isn't a big fan of the tight spandex, she finds it too restricting. Instead Kira wears baggy dark brown cargo pants, a tan jacket that stops around her navel which has dark brown patches on her shoulders. She wears steel tipped gloves to protect the world from her nails, they have a tendency to cut through anything they just lightly scrape. Kira wears black combat boots which are great for the long periods of running she tends to do. Kira varies on what she wears for a shirt. Sometimes she may wear a thin white t-shirt, other times she may wear a black V-neck.

===POWERS===

Powers: Kira was granted the ability to shapeshift into a giant wolf form thanks to events that happened in her early childhood, killing her parents in the process. This wolf form can most aptly be described as one of the wolves from twilight. Sad I know, but in my defense, I created Kira long before I had ever heard of Twilight and their giant wolves.

The full wolf form is about a head taller than a fully grown man. The wolf itself is of various shades of brown like that which is shown in the image above, with golden eyes. In general terms, it is about twice as fast as a normal wolf would be if it grew to Kira’s size, and about 5 times as strong. Likewise, it’s senses are also improved from a normal wolf, but only to about double the normal.

Kira is able to control to what degree she transforms, allowing her to take on various partial wolf forms. This means she could simply transform her nose to gain an improved sense of smell, or transform her legs halfway into their wolfy form so she can jump on top of a building. However all partial transformations are accompanied by an increase in furriness, golden eyes, and enhanced muscles.

In human form Kira still has a greatly improved sense of smell, about ¾ of her full wolf ability. Her eyesight is also enhanced, along with her hearing and reflexes, to about half the wolf’s ability. Similarly her teeth are far sharper than a normal human’s, even though this is not visually apparent. And her nails, whilst still in human shape, are as hard and sharp as her wolf claws, able to cut steel.



Skills: N/A. Kira’s powers give her enough of an edge that she doesn’t need any extra skills. That said, she is quite good at hand to hand combat, due to experience and a natural aggressive animal instinct.


Weaknesses: Essentially Kira is able to turn into varying forms of a giant wolf, and whilst this has a lot of perks, she is still just a wolf. She doesn’t heal faster than normal, bullets and blades still cut her, fire is a major danger simply because her fur is ideal fuel for the flames, etc. That said, her size does help her in some aspects. A stab wound to her shoulder in wolf form will not penetrate enough to reach vital organs and arteries, unless the knife was a sword. Likewise, her wound sizes stay proportioned between her transformations. Ie even if Kira was stabbed with a foot long blade in wolf form, it may have only gone halfway through her leg. When she becomes human again the wound will still only be halfway through her leg, despite the size of the original wound.

Whilst having enhanced senses can be a bonus when tracking someone, they can be a burden in other situations. Ie, her nose picks up even the faintest smells, so powerful orders such as garbage, smoke, etc can overpower her nose, blocking other scents, and giving her a headache. Likewise her eyesight can be a problem, bright lights often causing pain and partially blinding her to a higher degree than other humans.

Her size can also be another issue. Whilst it’s fine for running around in the wild, it’s not so practical when inside buildings, which is where she spends majority of her time. This means she tends to use partial transformations more than full wolfy form.

Her transformations also have another issue. For the sake of keeping it PG, her clothes and everything else on Kira’s body, are absorbed when she transforms. This means her communicator in her pocket is also absorbed to exist somewhere around her wolfy kidney, making it somewhat difficult to answer the phone.

As a price for her powers, the wolf that grants them exists as a separate consciousness in her mind. Normally this isn’t that big a problem as Kira’s mind is naturally dominant. However the wolf has an uncontrollable bloodlust come over it when it scents fresh blood. This lends it’s mind strength, and causes an internal struggle for dominance in Kira’s mind. Most times she can control it, but sometimes she can’t. It all depends on how fatigued she is, and how angry the wolf is at her. If the wolf gains control, then Kira generally goes on a bit of a rampage, killing anything that crosses her path until something stops her.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Personality: Kira is a bit short but she makes up for her lack of height in her personality. She is a very bouncy and happy girl with some odd quirks that just make you love her more. Often you'll find her sitting on the floor instead of the chairs as she finds it more comfy. She likes to eat anything meat-like in nature, her favorite food is steak. Kira is usually the first one up in the morning and the last one to bed at night, she's like a little energizer bunny, she just goes and goes and goes...


Strengths: Loyal, brave, determined, passionate, caring, strong sense of morals.


Interests/Habits: Kira loves to run, as does the wolf inside her. So she usually takes a morning run through the canyon outside Jump before everyone else wakes up. As a side effect of her powers she has an overabundance of energy, meaning she needs little sleep.

History: Majority of Kira’s early history is covered in the Diary of Kira that I wrote ages back. I’ll be posting it back up again when I get reaccepted, but I’ll put the highlights here. Basically an organization called the Lycanians blackmailed Kira’s father into unlocking the secrets of a strange rock formation on the edge of their parkland property. When Kira turned 4, Jack (her father), touched the stone with his bare hands, absorbing a wolf into himself, gaining Kira’s powers. Instead of telling the Lycanians what he had discovered, fearing that they would take him away from his family, Jack ran back to his home intending to destroy the rock before the Lycanians could get it. However his plan failed. A small army of the order showed up, killing Kira’s mother (Lilly), and father. Kira and her older brother Kael were both exposed to the rock and gained it’s power. The Lycanians let them live as test subjects.

At 16 years of age the young wolf girl moved out here to Jump City after discovering the Titans online. Her goal, to put her talents to good use. Quickly setting up shop in the old Titan’s tower, Kira made fast friends with fellow titans MG, Xzuk, Grim, and Emblem, among others. For over a year the wolf shifter fought alongside the titans, experiencing more than one ‘episode’. During her childhood in Australia, Kira and the wolf inside her often worked in tandem. The girl spent most of her first 16 years padding through the forest in her giant wolf form. However upon her move to Jump, the wolf did not get as many chances to come out and play. This meant that over the year it grew more and more frustrated and angry. Several times the little titan lost control over her inner beast and it rampaged, killing dozens of people to try and quench it’s thirst for blood. By the time the year was up Kira’s own personality was being affected by that of the wolf inside her. She became just as snarly and violent as the animal. It was when she went and attacked her own lover Grim that she decided she needed to leave. A simple note was left on the bed side table saying the girl had gone for her usual early morning run, and that was the last anyone saw of Kira.

She transformed into her wolfy self, letting the beasts consciousness take almost full control (Kira still had enough will power to turn back into herself if she really had to). She spent the next 2 years roaming around the wilds of America, quickly making her way north to the untouched wilderness of Northern Canada. Originally the tiny Titan had only intended to leave for a month or so, just so the wolf could get it’s frustrations out of it’s system. But as time wore on, Kira and the animal’s minds merged as they often did as children. Soon Kira didn’t see the need to go back to Jump. She was happier than she had been in a long time. Life was simple. And she had all the company she needed in the intimate mental embrace of the wolf.

However, Kael had gotten worried. Being the awesome older brother, he kept tabs on his vigilante little sister. When she dropped off the radar for more than 6 months he began to get concerned. He knew well how persuasive the inner wolf could be, and Kira was particularly susceptible to it due to her having such a close bond with her wolf. Kale left Australia, heading to Jump City to start tracking down his sister. But her trail was long cold. It took him a whole year to find her leading a pack of wild wolves on a hunt after their next meal. With her size and power, Kira had naturally taken the Alpha role, even though she wasn’t male. With her mind so wrapped up in wolf ways of thinking, Kael had no choice but to fight her for the Alpha role. He had size on his side due to being almost a decade older than Kira, but the tiny Titan had experience under her belt. It was a bitter battle, and in the end Kael had no choice but to let Kira bite open the old wound she had given him when she was a pup when she had her first “episode”. The de ja vu gave Kael an opening to pin Kira and claim victory, his first order being to get Kira to separate herself from the wolf inside her.

Several rematches later, Kira was finally mostly back to her old self. However, being away from her brother and society for so long meant she was in no condition to return to the Titans. She spent the next 6 months roaming with Kael, reliving their childhood.

But that eventually came to an end. And Kira has returned to Jump City. She has no idea if she can still call herself a Titan, nor if any of her old friends and team mates are still alive. But she has high hopes.


Sample RP (Wasn’t sure I needed to do this, but put one in anyway to show how my style has matured over the years.)

Kira glared up at the tower before her. She’d been gone for a long time, not just from the Titans, but from humanity as a whole. It had taken 6 whole months for Kael to remind her how to interact as a human, and Kira still felt out of place. Sure she’d never really felt entirely normal, but after spending so long living like a wild animal, it was difficult to reenter the concrete jungle of Jump City. Not to mention the fact that the last time she had been here she’d turned on Grim, her partner and lover. Kira wasn’t exactly expecting a warm welcome. But then again, her friends had seen how her wolf was affecting her. She’d explained the risks it held for them numerous times. Perhaps they would understand?

With a sigh Kira walked up to the front door. In the old days she would use her key to get in.. or just climb up the side of the tower until she could jump in the almost always broken living room window. But she had left her key along with her communicator on her bedside table when she left, and the window wasn’t currently broken. It would probably give a bad impression if the first thing she did back in Jump was to break in to Titan tower. So, the tiny Titan took the only option she had available to her. She knocked.

An eternity seemed to pass as the wolf girl waited for someone to answer the door. She could hear footsteps coming down the stairs, but their sounds, along with the scents lingering in the doorway, were unfamiliar to Kira.

Suddenly a thought struck her. What if these people weren’t Titans at all? What if her team had been defeated? What if they had died!

Kira made a huge effort to stop her top lip peeling back as the footsteps stopped behind the door. She had to make nice. These guys might just be a new team of Titans. Nothing had to have gone wrong. Her team might have retired or moved on. It wouldn’t be the first time.

The young Titan’s musing was cut off as the door opened.

(So in case you can't tell by me already being sorted into the Titan group/all the references i have littered throughout this app, i'm an old member, coming back to rejoin this site, simply because it's so awesome. I figured i should probably stick up a proper app as the old app thread is now gone. I'm happy to adjust things as required so Kira can fit in with the site plot eg not on a Titan team, working with a different fraction, etc. Looking forward to getting back in the action!)
