What Superpower would you have?

Like the title says, basically I was just wondering what superpower you guys would want if you could realistically have one and use it in daily life. Also, there's no parameters around this question meaning; would you have more than one? Would you use it to fight crime or just make life easier for yourself. Would it be the same as your characters and how would you obtain it?

You don't have to answer all these questions and if you want you can give even more explanation, basically I just want to know if you could have a super power what would it be?

For myself I'd have to go with regenerating healing factor. Mainly because with that power, fear can be utterly and completely taken out of your life. There's no need to fear anything when you can recover from everything. Imagine what life would be like when you made judgments based on the idea that nothing could hurt you. There was no such thing as a death sentence or any jail time long enough to take time away from you. You'd stand up to any bully, gang member or jerk because there was no fear of a reprocussion, not to mention the idea that you could take your time with everything because you had all the time in the world.

The fall back, however, is that you would in essence out live all your loved ones and the choices you make while not affecting you could be fatal for others with you. Which, if you got so bothered by the deaths of your loved ones you couldn't even take your own life, and more so the burden on your mind would just continue to build and would remain eternal.

The superpower that I want is force-field projection and manipulation.

The immediate benefit would be obvious: nothing can hurt you. Your force-fields can stop any physical object or force and never weaken or break. These force fields would be powered by the universe itself, so they require no energy from you in order to use.

Also, with the manipulation part of this power, you would be able to move the force-fields. This would allow you to fly at the speed of light (and the field would protect you from the G-forces), fire projectiles (made of force-field), and use telekinesis with a near-infinite amount of power behind it.

Getting this power is not very easy. You would need to become connected to the center of the universe in a higher dimension.

What would I use this power for? I would use it to protect the world. The main weakness of this power would be hubris. You would get full of yourself really quickly, and would probably try to take over the world after a while. In combat, you would still be vulnerable to mental, emotional, and spiritual attacks.

All in all, however, this is the power that I most want.

I would love to change what I look like or who (or what) I could be at will, especially if I had a team of super friends around me; I wouldn’t want to be the only person with a power because it would be all so lonely... it wouldn’t be a “the world is depending on me” and “I can’t do anything wrong or else I’ll fail” situation as much as it would be being so isolated from the norm. I wouldn’t want to take on all the world’s troubles. I’d want to take them on one at a time, and let everyone I become be the heroes. But in all honesty, (no pun intended), that would only be a one in a millionth chance. I want to because I’m uncomfortable with who I am. Whether I would fight crime or not doesn’t seem important to me... well, at least not right now in my life. Plus, it’d be wicked cool to turn into animals, people, and “imaginary” creatures like a basilisk or unicorn (no, no, I kid). Some attention would be nice, too. It’s almost ironic how I’ve been so many places and lived in so many countries and met so many people, but the world is such a small place when it comes to who seems to really know and trust me. I need to get out more teeheehee...

I wouldn’t want to never feel pain. It’s changed me so much and in such good ways. Don’t get me wrong: I hate pain. I loathe pain. I can’t stand it, and I wish I never had it, but that’s only when the pain is happening that I truly believe it. Emotionally, I’ve been battered, bruised, and broken... but I want to learn, and I want to have opposition in my life; without pain, there can be no pleasure, just like there can be no sun without the moon or night without darkness. Pain... well, it’s made me who I am, whether or not I’ll openly admit it.

Nice choices, universal shielding and shapeshifting. Now hmm, if I had to choose a 2nd power I would most likely go with Super Equilibrium. For those who don't know what that is, the fluid in your ears that helps you keep your balancee is called your Equilibrium. So basically I would have perfect balance and be able to any to do any variety of flips and saults perfectly. The power also greatlly compliments the one I suggested earlier. The healing factor along with equilibriam would make it so any manuver that was interupted or performed incompletely would not prove fatal. Additionally, the healing factor would keep you in the prime physical conditioin so I'd be strong enough to do every move flawlessly and without too much effort depending on difficulty. In a way, this is like Sage's free running or Robin/Spider-man's acrobatics. Also it would make me almost a near perfect fighter, since when fighting the one who loses is usually the one to lose their balance first or be unable to judge distance and timing. With perfect balance I could master near any martial art by being able to learn the formations instantly. Healing factor and crazy flipping plus fighting technique equals one badass mofo. Not to meantion I'd be the ultra athelete.

Can you guys imagine someone with force-fields, shape-shifting, and healing? That person would be extremely overpowered.

I CALL ANIMAL SHAPE SHIFTING! Including dragons griffons and such like that. I would screw with the press so much and pull a lock ness monster n FLorida or a living gargoyal in Arizona! lol. That would be hilarious! that or I'm just weird. But hey, whats the diff between that and normal? really?

I would choose a power that may seem tiny and weak compared to the others but would have a world of differences. The power I'd want is the ability to rewind time by 10 seconds. That way you could memorise a person's moves in a fight, know the answers to most questions you just asked, be able to plan your escape from something. And if you mess up, you can just rewind the ten seconds and start all over again, making sure what you changed would be different

I'd have the power to have any power I want, because Eff' you, that's why!

Not to put a damper on your pick, Foalfire, but how long do you think you'd have before the government and/or poachers would be after your dragon/gargoyle hide?

For the power I'd like to have, well I'd like to have us look at some Irish folklore as to where my pick starts from. The "grim reaper" of Ireland, the banshee. People have feared it's deafening scream as it was a sign that someone was about to die. A mighty scream that from this monster would make anyone who heard it cover their ears in pain and then the strike of fear that one of the people who heard it is going to die soon. That's pretty awesome to me. Another famous sound manipulator would be Mortal Kombat's Sindel, who's scream is able to tear things up as if it was a physical force but it's just a vibration traveling around in the air. For the ones who aren't aware of who this character is, I suggest looking at DC's Black Canary who is very much the same as Sindel with their power over their screams. Now just take that, and swap it with control over all sounds. Doing this right here would easily be able to combat against and even take apart even of the powers already listed in here if I were to go godmod with it, I could destroy the Earth by making the lava erupt out of all the volcanos.

I think I'd choose Caps hypno voice and shapeshifting like Mystique, which is, by the way, what I at first wanted to call Capricious. xD
The hypno voice because I could say basically anything and people would HAVE to listen (I have a problem with being ignored rl) And like, World leaders would have to be peaceful if I told them to and my Mother would get off my case
And Then I could sing better too, I know I sing quite well but hypnotic undertones in songs are just something ive always liked.
And shapeshifting like Mystique is just..I think its one of those ultimate powers, never have a bad hair day xD The idea of being able to change at will is appealing to me, I dunno.

Never said you would let them catch you, but if I saw a dragon flying in the sky and I had fire power, Id be trying to shoot it down.
