===POWERS===

Powers:

Technopathy: Rex has the ability of interfacing with technology. He can control, reprogram, upgrade, or even communicate with technology. This ability can be taken as far as opening closed doors to controlling every machine in a massive stronghold in dire situations.

E.V.O. Curing: Rex also has the ability to cure E.V.O's. He does this by extracting their active Nanites. The E.V.O. will return to their original, untransformed self. He can also extract other types of nano-bots or microscopic devices from peoples' bodies, but this will cause him to spit up a blue-ish red liquid almost immediately afterward.

Machine Constructs: Rex's most prominent ability. Using the Nanites in his body, Rex can form a large variety of machines. He has a standard set, all colored orange, and his Omega-1 Nanite allows him to make new builds, all of which are colored blue. With the Omega-1, Rex can also 'double-up', or use two builds at once.

Original Constructs

SMACK HANDS

Spoiler:

Rex's most used combat build, the Smack Hands are huge, mechanical fists. They give Rex the ability of incredible strength, allowing him to crush or lift huge objects.

Combat Drill
Rex's Smack Hands can also be spun at high speeds to be used as high-tech drills. They can be used to dig underground, or to make Rex a torpedo underwater.

BIG FAT SWORD

Spoiler:

Rex's second combat-oriented build, the Big Fat Sword (Or BFS for short), is a large mechanical sword.

Battle Saw
The BFS can also be converted into a huge orange buzz saw, which can cut through almost anything.

PUNK BUSTERS

Spoiler:

The Punk Busters are huge orange super-boots with spikes on the soles. They can be used for either combat or transportation.

BOOGIE PACK

Spoiler:

The Boogie Pack is mainly used for transportation. It is a jet pack run by twin turbines. The turbines can be launched like a bolas, and there are also a set of grappling hooks on top of each turbine. Underwater, the Boogie Pack can be used to propel him like he would above water.

SLAM CANNON

Spoiler:

The slam cannon is a large one-barrel cannon that forms on either of Rex's arms. It doesn't make its own ammo, but instead has a maw on the back that takes any material from the area, converting it into a projectile.

REX RIDE

Spoiler:

Rex's favored mode of transportation. The Rex Ride is a motorcycle that uses levitation instead of wheels. It can go up to speeds of 200mph. It also has the feature of a battering ram that takes place of an engine block.

Omega-1 Constructs

BLAST CASTER

Spoiler:

The Blast Caster is a whip like machine that forms on Rex's right arm. It includes a dynamo on Rex's back, that allows for an electric shock down the length of the whip.

BAD AXES

Spoiler:

A giant pair of glowing axes. The Bad Axes are capable of splitting fighter planes in half.

SKY SLYDER

Spoiler:

The Sky Slyder is a blue, glowing, flying surf-board like build. It goes at a speed of about 100mph, but is more maneuverable than the Rex Ride.


BLOCK PARTY

Spoiler:

A pair of glowing blue gauntlets. The Block Party forms two atomized shields, capable of withstanding incredible amounts of pressure, before they crack like glass. The Block Party can also form a dome shield around Rex, covering a 7 foot radius.

MR. SMASH

A giant blue hammer. Mr. Smash is so heavy, it can crush an SUV into a paper thin sheet of metal. The head has a spike on either side, and when the head starts spinning, it can be launched as a devastating projectile.

Enhanced Physiology: Rex is more durable than the average human, slightly faster, more agile, and has more stamina.

Skills: Hand to hand combat, acrobatics, advanced intellect, basic sword-fighting knowledge


Weaknesses:

Technopathy: When Rex interfaces with technology, he sometimes hears too many 'voices'. This can cause him pain, or even cause him to pass out. Also, his technopathy doesn't work on sentient machines, such as AI, or part machines, such as cyborgs.

E.V.O. Curing: Sometimes, when the amount of active Nanites Rex extracts from an E.V.O is too much for him, he will start forming large, metal, tumorous sacs on his body. If the Nanites are unstable, Rex's body will begin to destabilize. Also, some E.V.Os are 'incurable', as their Nanites are completely immune to the curing process.

Machines: All of Rex's machines has its own weaknesses. The Smack Hands are slow, the BFS is also somewhat un-maneuverable. The Slam Cannon takes a while to reload and be aimed. All of them have weaknesses, but they all share one common disability- When Rex feels strong physical/mental strain, any build Rex is using will short out and be destroyed. And, the machines being metal, they are susceptible to magnetism.

In addition, Rex is basically a normal human despite his advanced physiology. He is highly susceptible to pressure point attacks, like any normal person. He also has no enhanced strength when not using his machines.


Equipment:

Goggles- Rex's goggles have been upgraded with different modes of vision, including thermal, microscopic, and nano.

New Outfit- Upon entering this new world, Rex witnessed many super-powered beings wearing a costume. So, to fit in, he had his own ensemble custom-made to resemble his original clothing.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Personality: Rex is impulsive, stubborn, rebellious, and most of all, headstrong, a trait Van Kleiss says he gets from his mother. In combat he's aggressive, reckless. But Rex has also shown a selfless side; he has risked his life on many occasions to save innocents and to cure E.V.Os.

Rex is also very clever. His intelligence helped to create voice-activated nano-ink, when his old gang was having trouble with a shape-shifter E.V.O. Also, when Rex was taking classes with Noah, and faced with an extremely difficult trigonometry quiz, he came out with an A, stating, 'Its just trig.'

History:

Rex was born in Geneva, Switzerland, to Rafael and Violeta Salazar. He is their second son, and the younger brother of Caesar Salazar. The Salazars spent their summers in South America, where Rafael, Violeta, and Caesar worked on the Nanite Project, and rex spent him time with his then best friend Federico. Near the end of the Project, Rex was injured in an accident, and the only way he could be saved was to be injected with the only batch of stable Nanites.

Rex miraculously survived, and was also given his powers. Shortly afterward, the reactor exploded, causing the Nanite Event, which infected everyone on the planet with Nanites. Caesar, Rex, and a few other scientists survived somehow. Rex had lost his memories, and traveled to Hong Kong, China. He befriended three incurables there, Cricket, Skwydd, and Tuck. During this time, and unknown to his friends, Rex was top lieutenant to E.V.O crime lord Quarry. After a few years, Rex left China and went elsewhere in the world.

A while later, Rex transformed into a full E.V.O and went on a rampage in Mexico as a sixty foot tall biomechanical E.V.O. Providence was called in, and after being defeated, Rex crashed into a building and reverted back to his human form. Agent Six, a Providence agent, found him, and decided to bring him to Providence, once he saw Rex's E.V.O curing ability.

At headquarters, Professor Holiday, one of the many scientists at Providence, was amazed by Rex's abilities. However, they kept it a secret, because of White Knight, another agent, and the current head researcher, Dr. Fell. However, the two discovered that Rex was an E.V.O, and tried to dissect him and learn how to reverse-engineer his curing ability. However, they failed, and as a result White Knight was bleached of his Nanites and Dr. Fell was relieved from his position.

Rex served as a living weapon for Providence, now under White Knight's leadership, for a few years. He cured E.V.Os for a living. The most trouble he got was from a group of EVOs called the Pack. They were lead by Van Kleiss, who was somehow connected to Rex. It is later revealed he was one of the scientists from the Nanite Project. And then, something happened. He was somehow transported to another universe, when Breach(a member of the Pack)'s powers 'malfunctioned' in a catastrophic way. He found himself in a world filled with heroes, and an equal number of villains, and an even larger number of people who couldn't be classified as either.

What will Rex do in this world? Who will he meet? And will he ever go back home?
