| I love this show, but I'd like to go into good detail about the show. I see that there are factories that use fire benders for electricity, so while the antibending movement is there, it seems that consumerism is stronger xD. Not to mention probending. The shows combat scenes have gotten even better and is just menor are people not as good at bending anymore. My favorite thing has to the the whole 1920's vibe. To bad I haven't seen any real military prescense I'd like to see the arms so I could compare them and get a more exact time. Also, is it just me or are firebenders still a prominent source of violence, so far every mugging I've heard about has been by them. Though lightning bending had gotten even more powerful, which I love. So much. Any thoughts? | |

| While we haven't seen any military forces yet, we have seen the epic police force. Toph's metal-benders are not to be messed with.
The fire-benders are not the prominent source of violence, though. There was a water bender and an earth bender (I think) in that one gang trying to beat up the one shopkeeper.
I do agree that most benders in Korra are not as strong as those in Aang's time, because they live in a time of greater peace and luxury. As technology and standard of living increase, benders don't feel the same need to train their abilities.
I can't wait to see the anti-bending rebellion begin. That guy in the mask looks like an evil genius. |

| I have seen only episode 1 but I have to say that I love it. Although I'm more of a fan of taang (tophxaang), I still have to say that the children and grandchildren of Aang and Katara are pretty cool. Korra is Epic!!! | |

| Ahh, Korra makes me so happy. xD The show and the character. And yes, Dar, there was a waterbender and an earthbender with the guy who attacked the shopkeeper.
And anti-bending. I did not see that coming. At all. They'll use Ty Lee's fighting style, right? Chi-blocking? |

| Well if you think about it after all those years of being terriouized and having to fix and repair all the damaged done by benders you could exspect an anti bending thig sooner or later. | |
