"All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day. You had a bad day once. Am I right? I know I am. I can tell. You had a bad day and everything changed. Why else would you dress up like a flying rat?"

His jaw is locked into a permanent smile and his skin is white. he also has extremely sharp red lips.

===POWERS===
His suit also stands out in regards to it being purple and green.

Powers:
Pain Resistance: Due to the fact of his exposure to chemicals The Joker has a very high pain tolerance. In fact he is even masochistic and enjoys pain and will laugh and taunt his attacker.

Tainted Blood: Joker's blood is tainted. It has been said that "being an avid consumer of his products, Joker's immunity to poisons has been built up over years of dedicated abuse." When a mosquito sucks the Joker's blood, it "writhes and whines, choking on tainted blood".

Skills:
Joker Venom Immunity: The Joker is immune to his own venom as well as various similar toxins.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: The Joker has moderate skill in hand to hand combat. Over the years it has been shown that although Batman is stronger, the Joker is faster and more agile.

Marksmanship: The Joker is an excellent marksman with various firearms.

Throwing: The Joker can throw playing cards with great accuracy.

Escapology: Is the practice of escaping from restraints or other traps. Escapologists (also called escape artists) escape from handcuffs, straitjackets, cages, coffins, steel boxes, barrels, bags, burning buildings, fish-tanks and other perils

Cheating Death: The Joker has been caught in explosions, electrocuted, shot repeatedly (including point-blank in the face), and dropped from great heights, but he always returns to once again wreak havoc.

Weaknesses:
Mental Illness: Though it is Unspecified The Joker is very unstable and this could clash with his thinking. The Joker has no regard for human life so it has been known for people to ''help the good guys'' in hopes they wont be harmed.

Joker Venom: A deadly poison that infects his victims with a ghoulish grin as they die while laughing uncontrollably. This venom comes in many forms, from gas to darts to liquid poison

Various Joker Gadgets: Razor-sharp playing cards, acid flower, various guns and other weaponry. The Joker is unpredictable in that he will use any kind of weapon afforded him.

Joker's Joy Buzzer: The Joker often used a modified novelty joy buzzer strapped to the palm of his hand. The buzzer administered a lethal dose of electricity into anyone who came into contact with it.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Personality:
Insane:The Joker's insanity appears to be a strange mixture of violently aggressive psychopathy, nihilism, and fixated narcissism. He has frequently been shown to have no regard for human life, and treats the pain and suffering of others as personal sport.
No true Diagnosis has been able to be giving And every attempt to cure him has proven likewise completely fruitless, as the Joker actively and energetically resists separation from his madness. Though it has been hypothesized by Arkham psychologists that the Joker actually exists in a state of almost "super-sanity". It is speculated that he redefines his own personality every day. This explains why sometimes he appears as a horribly sadistic lunatic one day while acting like a simple mischievous clown other days.

But the joker has been shown to still be ''human''. One person who still sees some humanity in the Joker is the Martian Manhunter. When the Joker gained the Philosopher's Stone and tried to create chaos on Earth, J'onn was able to order the Joker's mind and cause temporary sanity, where the Joker expressed regret and remorse for his actions, and became desperate for a means to make up for them.On another occasion the Martian Manhunter also took the Spectre into the Joker's mind, along with the rest of the Justice League. He is attempting to show the spirit of vengeance that there is decency and humanity even in the most corrupted and evil of souls. Although most of Joker's mind is a horrible twisted hellish place full of demons, deep down, at its heart, there is a kindly couple living in a small domicile separate from all of the anger and torment. This revelation proves that there is some good in all people.

Strengths:
Joker possess the strength level of an average human male who engages in regular moderate exercise though has at times due to adrenaline surges surpassed his normal levels; Athletic. However, he is mostly shown to be of weak physical strength.

Brilliant criminal mastermind

Genius-level Intellect: The Joker is highly skilled in chemistry and explosives. He is capable of hijacking broadcasts (usually news programs) of both the television and radio.

Intimidation: The Joker is adept at torturing his victims endlessly. ex-shooting Batgirl, torturing Robin to death and beating Damian into submission.

Master of psychology

Inventive Skill: The Joker commits crimes with countless "comedic" weapons (such as razor-sharp playing cards, acid-spewing flowers, cyanide pies, and lethally electric joy buzzers) and Joker venom.

Indomitable Will: The Joker's insanity, or his frame of mind, leaves him immune to the Spectre's judgement, though warranted, as Batman explained once that the Joker doesn't actually know what is right and wrong, a crucial understanding the Spectre needs to judge. In a way, one has to know one's deeds are evil or wrong for the Spectre to judge, and the Joker doesn't.

Comic Awareness: The Joker has, at times, shown to be fully aware of being a comic book character, even directly talking to the reader.

Interests/Habits:
Batman, Batman, and hmmm The Batman. No, but really The Joker enjoys wreaking havoc on the world. He is hell bent on showing the world that not only is life and goodness a big joke, but he is something more as well. It's just that the batman always stops him so he wants to prove his point to the bats more than anyone.
''All I've ever wanted... is to have a good time. And to annoy Batman, whenever possible, of course. And to one day murder Batman and defile his carcass sexually. And a pony.''

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Family Members:
Rumored to have had a wife and daughter, both deceased.

Place of Origin:
Gotham City, Arkham Asylum (USA)

Current City:
Steel City

History: -- His Origins
Although his full origin is unknown, the Joker is known to have been forced to swim through a vat of chemicals which turned his skin white, his hair green, and left his faced permanently locked in a double Glasgow Grin. Accounts of the Joker's origin story have been varied and numerous. He himself has told the story of how he came to be in several different variations, saying that sometimes he remembers it one way, and then another.

[center]"Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another... if I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice! Ha ha ha!"

What has remained the most consistent is, while he was acting in the identity of "The Red Hood" with a gang of other thugs, committing a robbery in or near the Ace Chemical Processing Plant. He either tripped into a vat of chemicals, or was accidentally pushed in by Batman. Another is that he is an engineer at a chemical plant who quits his job to become a stand-up comedian, only to fail miserably. Desperate to support his pregnant wife Jeannie, he agrees to help two criminals break into the plant where he was formerly employed to get to the card company next door. In this version of the story, the Red Hood persona is given to the inside man of every job (thus it is never the same man twice); this makes the man appear to be the ringleader, allowing the two criminals to escape. During the planning, police contact him and inform him that his wife and unborn child have died in a household accident.
Stricken with grief, he attempts to back out of the plan, but the criminals strong-arm him into keeping his promise. As soon as they enter the plant, however, they are immediately caught by security and a shoot-out ensues, in which the two criminals are killed. As the engineer tries to escape, he is confronted by Batman, who is investigating the disturbance. Terrified, the engineer leaps over a rail and plummets into a pound lock of chemicals. When he surfaces in the nearby reservoir, he removes the hood and sees his reflection: bleached chalk-white skin, ruby-red lips, and bright green hair. These events, coupled with his other misfortunes that day, drive the engineer completely insane, resulting in the birth of the Joker. Another one which we find out was written by Harley Quinn, this story suggests that the Joker was a sadistic gangster who worked his way up Gotham's criminal food chain until he was the leader of a powerful mob. Still seeking the thrills that dirty work allowed, he created the Red Hood identity for himself so that he could commit small-time crimes. Eventually, he had his fateful first meeting with Batman, resulting in his disfigurement. However, the story suggests that the Joker remained sane, and researched his crimes to look like the work of a sick mind in order to pursue his vendetta against Batman, able to evade permanent incarceration via insanity defense.
One account even re-imagines the Joker as a gifted criminal and abandons the Red Hood identity, also called Jack, who is nearly suicidal due to boredom with his "job". He talks to a waitress, Harleen Quinzel, who convinces him to find something to live for. Jack becomes obsessed with Batman after he breaks up one of his jobs, leading Jack to attract Batman's attention at a ball. Jack injures Lorna Shore (whom Bruce Wayne is dating), leading Batman to disfigure his face with a batarang. Jack escapes and Batman gives Jack's information to mobsters, who torture Jack in a chemical plant. Jack kills several of his assailants after escaping, but falls into an empty vat as wild gunfire punctures the chemical tanks above him, and the resultant flood of antidepressant chemicals alters his appearance to that of a clown, completing his transformation into the Joker.

Now for The Jokers history
[please keep in mind that his origan is really his only history, the rest is pretty much crimes]

While trying to show Batman how easy it was for even the sanest of people to lose their minds, the Joker attempted to drive Commissioner Gordon insane. He arrived at Gordon's house, and before kidnapping him, shot his niece in the spine then took pictures of her naked and bleeding and in pain on the floor, to force the Commissioner to watch in a slideshow. Although the Joker did not know this when he shot her, James Gordon's niece was actually Barbara Gordon, a.k.a. the original Batgirl. She was left crippled for life, a wheelchair-bound paraplegic, and forced to retire from her life of street vigilantism to a new career as the mysterious "Oracle".

the Joker actually murdered Jason Todd, the second boy to don the guise of Robin. Jason had been searching for his mother in Africa, and found out too late that she had actually been involved in criminal activity with none other than the Clown Prince of Crime himself. Jason's mother betrayed him, and the Joker tied the two of them up together in a warehouse set to blow up. He also viciously beat Jason with a crowbar many times, causing severe trauma to his head. Batman was unable to rescue the two of them before the bomb's detonation, and they were both killed in the explosion.

Actually, during the time Gotham City became known as "No Man's Land" when it was abandoned by the United States and crime ran almost free across the town, the Joker didn't show up for awhile. Batman left for some time, and while he was gone, the Joker just simply didn't think it worth the bother of being active in Gotham. However, when he did appear, amidst the already chaos, his impact was shocking. A large number of GCPD officers were murdered when he, after capturing them, dressed them up in costumes and makeup similar to his own so they would all be killed by the lone police Sniper, who had a vendetta against the Joker. Loads of innocent men were shot in the head by their friend.

Later, he took an entire hospital room full of newborn infants hostage. When Detective Sarah Essen, Jim Gordon's wife, arrived on the scene, he pointed a gun at her and told her not to move, then threw a baby at her. Sarah instinctively went to catch the small child, and the Joker shot her in the head. Oddly enough, he seemed to take no pleasure in this act. Later, when Gordon found out, he was on the verge of murdering the Joker but instead was calmed down and only shot him in the knee. The Joker was immediately concerned about the damage to his leg, worrying that he might never walk again, but quickly cracked up laughing, realizing there was a joke. The Commissioner had just gotten him back for the damage to his niece.
''He shot my knee! I may never...oh...like your daughter! I get it! Good one Commissioner!''

The Joker's history has many unknown death counts and stories throughout time.

Sample RP
The Joker stood on the top of a tall building overlooking Jump City. He was holding two big bags of money laced with joker venom. Down below where hundreds of people gathering for new phone that was coming out in the building next to him. [wip]
