Kasumi was walking through Jump City, looking for a good place to eat. She stopped in the middle of the wharf and frowned. This is hopeless... where are all the good food places...

Kasumi passed the pizzeria window looking rather confused

Xzuk picked up his communicator.
He dialed up Kasumi...

"You could come to the pizzeria you just passed you know... They make the best... and possibly only pizza in the city."

Kasumi looked down at her communicator as Zuzu's voice came through.

"You could come to the pizzeria you just passed you know... They make the best... and possibly only pizza in the city."

Sure... I'll be there in a few... She dropped her communicator into her boot and stepped off towards the pizza place, trying not to peer into peoples minds. Eventually she came up on the pizza place and eyed a few people, slobbering down the greasy food.

Disgusting..

Xzuk took a moment to peer away from the monster pizza to see Kasumi walk in.
"Hey Sumi! Over here!"
I suppose thats what it should've sounded like, but his mouth was full, so God only knows how she heard it...
taking a moment to chew his food he asked
"What'll you have??"

Kasumi looked over at Xzuk as bits and pieces of pizza flew towards her, splattering the floor and people in her way. She shivered as she sat down at his table. I'll take.. a napkin.. this place is disgusting.. how can you eat here?

Xzuk looked at her strangely... She looked uncomfortable.
So, he decided to try and use some manners. And failed. Epically.
While trying to cut his pizza with a fork and knife, the knife slipped from his greasy hands, narrowly missed the server, and stabbed right into the jukebox. Xzuk had never been so red in his whole life.
He whispered into a bubble and passed it to Kasumi..
"I really wanna leave now... that could've gone worse right??"

Kasumi watched as everything happened. When everyone started to look at the two titans, she received his bubble. Now she could have changed everyone's thoughts, so that this never happened in their minds, but she took the dramatic way. She looked at Zuzu with big puffy eyes as tears went down her face. She stood up, knocking over the chair.

Fine! If you want to break up with me.. than do that.. don't throw a knife at me! She ran out of the store crying and holding her eyes.

No way that just happened. Did she really..?... "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave..."
Xzuk laughed and told the man to make him. Mistake. Never before had Xzuk been literally thrown out of anywhere before. That was a very large man.

"Your food sucks anyway!!!"

Xzuk walked outside where Sumi was waiting for him...
"Completely unnecessary."

But totally fun.. huh baby? She winked at him and took a deep breath as her eyes slid out of focus. Her skin color became tanned and her hair grew out and turned a shade of red. Her body became slimmer and her clothes changed colors from red to purple. Her eyes reappeared in a shade of green as she regained vision.

But now since Kasumi is out of the way.. you can spend all your time with Starfire... She smiled and slid her arm under his, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Fun? Maybe for you haha..."
then something strange happened...Sumi changed

wow..

"You know... seeing their faces makes this 100% worth it...to the Tower?"
The bouncers face was priceless. Just to make the guy a bit more angry, he kissed Sumi's forehead, smiled and waved.

Kasumi waved to the bouncer as she walked towards the tower. She returned to normal a few blocks away and yawned a little. Well that sure was fun wasn't it? She smiled and looked at Zuzu. I loved the kiss on the forehead part though... it made it all so real.

Trying not to seem taken aback, Xzuk had to think fast... uh-oh. The answer that he spoke horrified him...it was just so simple...
"Yep"

Trying to not seem awkward, he kept walking, too scared to look at Kasumi.

She looked at the long trek they still had and took a deep breath as a pair of blue feathered wings grew out of her back until they were as wide as minivans.

You wanna fly back... this is gonna take forever. She put out her hand and took hold of his, just waiting for a reply.

Something was wrong... where was the explosion?
Well, he couldn't say no to a free ride home, so why waste it.

"Yeah, sure why not"
I wish I had wings... that'd be cool... then again, im clumsy. I'd probably hit a powerline or something...

Kasumi smiled as she jumped off of the ground, soaring at least 100 yards into the sky. She turned a full piourette before balancing out and checking to see if she still had Zuzu. You okay down there, Zuzu... if you feel like your losing your grip.. tell me. She turned towards the tower and took off at a much slower rate.
