this is my first fanfic so no flaming plz. i dont care for grammar or spelling right now.
OH YEAH, IF YOU FIND ANY MISTAKES LIKE, STUFF THATS CONFUSING TELL ME SO I CAN FIX IT!

Chapter 1: Rise of GRIM
Johnathan was quickly grabbed by people in flak jackets and helmets, it was the local PDF. Sirens began screaming and the civilians started running towards the shelters. The PDF took John to a truck filled with laser rifles and flak jackets, they tossed John a laser rifle, a flak jacket, 2 grenades, a bayonet and 6 charge packs. John quickly put them on and said to the nearest PDF soldier, "Whats going on?"
"Hell if i know, some pirates are attacking!"
"pirates?" this puzzed John, this was a simple farming world, why would pirates want this planet?
"To the trenches, their attacking!!!" a PDF commander yelled
John ran to the trenches, same with over 2,000 other poor souls. The pirates landed in crude ships, the pirates fired while running towards the trenches. Many of those bullets hit home, John thought of this as a video game, he aimed, pulled the trigger and heard a ping noise and then a thunk as a pirate fell to the floor with his head scorched. John smiled as he got his first kill, he then aimed and fired like a professional. The damn pirates got closer and closer though, John saw the lethality of their chain blades, when they a mere 30 feet from the trench, John put his bayonet on the rifle. John felt a massive rush of adrenaline take over.
"For the Emperor and for Lorn V" John screamed as he got up and ran towards the pirates gun blazing. The pirates and the PDF were amazed at this act of stupid bravery, they all stood there not knowing what to do, until John stabbed one Pirate in the heart, unloaded his entire charge on the pirate and took his chain sword and sawed another pirate's head off. John was almost...happy on the battlefield, he then stole a crude pistol from a dead body and started shooting and chopping like he was a born soldier. The rest of the PDF followed along, some stayed in the trench and took the responsibility of raining lines of hell while the rest gave hell with their bare hands. It was happening so fast, all of the PDF believed that this guy...Hero of Lorn V was being blessed by the Emperor himself, John, still thinking of video games, was doing very odd but very effective attacks. As soon as it began, it was over, many of the surviving PDF troopers began cheering. John started crying as he realized his friend Bryce had been shot and killed. John couldnt stand this, but he couldnt pull his eyes alway either, his knees buckled his stomech twirled and did a sumersault. The other soldiers saw this, it saddend them to see such a fearsome soldier on his knees and cry. one trooper had the courage to say, "He's in the Emperor's grace now, he will look over you. and he will stay with you, forever in your heart..."
"let us go and mourn later, we will bury the dead and avenge them with laser and chainsword, Go and salvage any weapons and gear" John said like a stone cold leader. A few hours later, they had gotten some new troops from the shelters that they couldent get to before. they had also buryed most of the dead PDF troops, it all stopped as soon as the second pirate wave came. as soon as they landed and gotten off they were met with a strangly disiplined volly of laser fire and machinegun fire, they then brought in more pirates, more bodys piled. behind the landing zone 50 heavy machine gun PDF troops lay there, underground waiting for a moment to unleash their deadly payload.
something unspeakable happend, a daemon, a daemon of Khorne appeared from the ground. John knew that they couldent take it down with simple lasers and slugs, the daemon laughed as the lasers tickled him, John did something that only an insane person or a soldier with Mars-Grade Adamantium Balls would do. he ran towards it.
Ffffffffffffaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh" John yelled as he dodged the daemons battleaxe, then john slashed the huge daemons face, it threw its head up and roared in pain, it fell forward John then grabbed its horn and yanked it hard, the daemon then stood upright but bringing John with it. John stood on its head and slashed at it, one... twice this time bringing the daemon to its knees, three finally the daemon fell, and four as he then put all of his weight and strength into one final attack, the chain blade sawed through thick bone and brains until the daemon was vanquished back into the damned warp.
"Uuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkk yyyyyyyoooooouuuuuuuu!!!" as he finally finished the battle cry, he then dropped his blade.......and then he stuck both his middle fingers at the pirates, as a form of major disrespect. The remaining pirates then began to board their ships and run away in pure fear, John let them go, so they can tell a tale that a simple PDF trooper kicked alot of ass on Lorn V.


Chapter 2: Rage
John heard wimpering, he started walking towards it. John saw his big brother Alex, Alex's guts were hanging out, "John...save me....." he said quietly.
John yelled out "medic!!!"
a couple medics ran towards him and got to work on Alex,
"we cant fully heal him, we need a really good docter, we can put him in cryo though." one medic said
"put him in cryo" John said as he walked away slowly. The PDF had been pushed back to the village entrance, the only sane way to enter. John had stationed 80 troops at the end of the long entrance they had alot of cover there, and another 150 on the small hills on the sides. the pirates landed on the front of the entrance many of the pirates had been cut down on sight of the PDF. more and more poured in, they got so close that the smell of burnt flesh filled the air, John rushed into the large crowd of pirates with duel chainswords, he screamed "For the dead, for the Emperor, For Lorn V" he was slashing and stabbing like a madman. John was simply overwhelmed he took a PowerFist to the stomech, he fell. the last thing he saw before passing out was 3 bulky blue figures with 2 assault cannons each mowing down the pirates.

Chapter 3: Revival
John awoke in a battle ships Apothecarion Hall, with many other PDF troops. he had been fully healed, he reviewed his memories, he had alot more, they were memories of training. He reconized this as Flash Training, only available to the Iron Leigon. A couple years later, A soldier yelled out, "hey man, were gonne get deployed, get your suit on and get your guns!"
John did what he said, and they were dropped by drop ship, on the planet they gave the squad a Prowler APC and said to scout out the northern reigon. they did what they were told, but during the recon mission a missle hit the side of the APC. John and the squad got out and took cover in some caves nearby and started picking off the attackers, John noticed something very odd, there was a door it had strange marking on it. He entered and found a single Sytche on a table, John picked it up, the Sytche then began to fade away.
"John where are you?" said one of the soldiers in his squad
John ran out of the temple like thing and said "over here"
they repaired the APC and then went back to base camp. "command wants you at their tent" Captain angelos said
"yeah, okay" John replied.
At the command tent, "hey, John, guess what? its good news! Your tour of duty is over! but you'll be back in combat in a few months."
"cool, when do i leave?" John said
"the drop ship is outside and your ship will leave in a couple hours" the general replyed
John ran towards his tent and grabbed his things.

Chapter 4: homecoming
when he got home by Deep Strike, well he did not blame them, they had to get about 800 other troops back home. when John landed and the dust cleared, he saw a couple of pirates similer to the ones he fought a while back when he was in the PDF. John quickly killed them with his MK.3.1 Pistol, all four tracer rounds hit all four pirates. John walked over the hill only to find something horrifying, the entire village had been enslaved. The eyes on John's helmet went bright red with rage and anger, this kid was pissed. In John's mind, the God of Death began to take advantage of this, he got out for a short time. To the villagers, they saw the Grim Reaper itself hover down the hill eyes glowing blood red. the villagers began praying to their Emperor, while the pirates tried to shoot the large god, insted of pulling the triggers they flew up into the sky and were crushed slowly and painfully. all that remained were the villagers and they all died instantly, like all life on the planet, inside Johns mind he was screaming in agony and pain, he felt all of their pain, all of their suffering. The god slowly went back into John's mind
"what the hell was that?" John said
John sighed and began burying all of the villagers, and put all of the dead mangled bodys of the pirates at the entrance and stuck a sign there saying "pirates beware". John spent most of his vacation burying the dead, the rest, he had discovered that his emotion had taken form in his mind. he took the time to know them, understand them and tried to make friends with the god within him, after a month of constant bugging the god finally apologized and began a uneasy friendship.

Chapter 5: Healing
"what the hell...." said the drop ship pilot
"over there!" said one of the soldiers
John was on the floor talking to himself, talking about some god.
"poor kid, hes insane" said another soldier
"comon, help me carry him to the ship" said one of the Apothecarys
when they got to the battleship Octavius, he was put in a quarantine room.
"hes got massive brain activity, its almost hes got at least 5 diffrent minds in there" said the Chief Apothecary
"so, he isent insane?" said General Vance Motherfucking Stubbs
"no, he is not, though there is conflict in his mind, i reccomend the Chief Librarian to cure him." said the Apothecary
"then we shall get the Chief Librarian" said General Stubbs
Stubbs went into the Librarium and asked for Librarian Martellus. a couple minutes later Martellus entered Johns mind and found that there was more then 5 of John, Martellus was puzzed at this, he spoke to each one and figured out that they were emotions. Martellus began healing the insanity. A month later John was completly healed and cleared of any insanity or crazyness. they were then chosen to lead an expeditionary force, and they also got all the most advanced tech. they were in orbit of Azarath, General Stubbs wanted to make peace with the monks but command says war.


Chapter 6: Seige
John was in a drop ship when all of a sudden an video of someone, with a red diamond on her forehead filled his visor, John relaxed, the first time in a long time, he felt completly at ease with her in his visor. it was all blocked out by a rapid shakeing, and the realization that he was deep striking he struck the ground, and saw a large temple atop a hill. John then checked his objectives, it said "establish foothold, create camp, destroy temple"
"this is complete retardation, why the **** would we attack monks!?!?" a soldier yelled.
"i agree, but orders are orders" John had said
"two months into the seige, and we lost over 500 men, they didnt lose any, were starting to bring up the Earthshaker artillry guns." John wrote in his journal. John got his knife and started carving the name GRIM on his shoulder pads, John became GRIM.
"Were getting ready to attack the main temple sir!" a soldier said
"ill be right there." Grim replied
after a couple hours in the attack everyone heard a very rough voice saying "Shatter Their Skys!"
everyone knew what this meant, a barrage of Earthshaker rounds were coming.
Grim's shields were half down, he couldent survive it unless he somehow got more time. he ran to the temple, he stopped finding 4 monks with spells ready to kill Grim.
Grim saw a little girl with a red diamond on her forehead, much like the one in the pre-drop memories. There were loud explosions and Grim instinctively hugged the child and flared his shields, a shell hit Grim's shields directly but the shields held, then the entrance fell on them. The monks began pushing the rocks aside finding a Federation soldier, he had saved Raven. Radio chatter became massive, some were horrified of the destruction, some very angry. Grim walked slowly to the edge of the destroyed temple. The soldiers saw Grim, he fell over. the soldiers sent 3 medics to get him.
"Press on! Attack!" one of the commissars said.
"Oh, piss off you mongrel!" one of the soldiers said as he punched the Commissar. news of a rebellion quickly spread through the fleet, the rebellion gained in members, including General Stubbs himself. The entire fleet went rouge. The fleet helped rebuild the temple, After rebuilding the Fleet began making allies all over the galaxy. They adopted the name "The 1st Freedom Fighters" when they freed a race of aliens from slavery.
